Bradley Walsh has suggested that Paul Sinha "handed his notice in" after an "unbelievable" game. The Chaser was up against four new contestants - Ian, Jennie, Gregor and Karen - all keen to test their trivia knowledge on the popular ITV quiz show.
First up was Ian, a magician from London, who put on a stellar performance in the Cash Builder round.
Ian managed to bag £6,000 before going head-to-head with The Chaser, in this case, Paul Sinha, also known as The Sinnerman. After a nail-biting face-off, Ian secured his place in the final chase, starting off the shared prize pot.
Next was Jennie's turn to tackle the rapid-fire question round, where she earned £5,000. Hoping to follow in Ian's successful path, her time on the quiz show unfortunately came to a halt when she was caught by The Chaser.
She was met with Bradley's feared phrase: "You have been caught and for you, The Chase is over," leaving the show with nothing. The next contestant, Gregor, also fell short of beating The Sinnerman, reports the Liverpool Echo.

However, Karen left viewers gobsmacked when she opted to take The Chaser's higher offer of a staggering £93,000. Paul quipped: "This is either brilliant news for Ian, or terrible news for Ian."
Social media was abuzz after Karen's bold move on the quiz show, with one viewer exclaiming: "Karen didn't even stutter taking that high offer" while another cheered: "Good girl!" A third supporter shared their excitement: "We just cheered for her."
Karen showcased her impressive trivia prowess by sailing through her round against The Sinnerman, securing a place in the final and boosting the prize fund to an eye-watering £100,000.
Eager fans urged others to tune in to #TheChase, not wanting them to miss out on Karen and Ian's attempt at the substantial jackpot. The duo managed to notch up 16 correct answers in the final chase.
In a nail-biting finish, The Sinnerman fell short of catching their score with only one question to go and a mere second left on the clock, prompting Bradley Walsh to comment: "That was close."
Reflecting on the team's victory, The Chaser conceded: "You absolutely deserve every penny of that."

Despite expressing his own disappointment at losing a game with such a significant sum at stake. He ruefully noted: "I've cost ITV £100,000 but you don't need to care about any of that."
Bradley couldn't resist a quip at The Sinnerman's expense, joking: "That's a funny way to hand in your notice."
He described the match as "unbelievable" as Ian and Karen each walked away with a hefty £50,000.
When discussing their plans for the windfall, Ian revealed his intention to purchase a new car, while Karen expressed her desire to treat her son to the Abu Dhabi Formula One Grand Prix.

Emmerdale's Mack actor Lawrence Robb speaks out as character 'killed off'

Emmerdale's Mackenzie Boyd actor Lawrence Robb has addressed his upcoming storyline, speaking out for the first time since reports he was being killed off on the ITV soap Mackenzie Boyd actor Lawrence Robb has addressed his next big Emmerdale storyline that will reportedly lead to his exit. Speaking for the first time since the reports emerged, Lawrence promised big scenes ahead. ‌ The actor did not comment on whether Mack would be killed or not, or the rumours surrounding a potential departure. The interview was held before the reports were shared, while Mack actor Lawrence did drop some major hints. ‌ It comes after it was claimed that Mack will die at the hands of killer John Sugden after he unearths his dark secret. Now, new spoilers for next week appear to back this, when it's said Mack makes a discovery that could change everything. ‌ The clue simply reads: "Mack discovers a clue, what has Mack found?" It's very vague but the spoilers in full appear to allude that it's linked to John, and Lawrence has now confirmed this. Asked about what he discovers and what it means, the star confessed it would lead to the moment Mack finally realises he's been right about John all along. He then teased it will land him in serious danger, with "bleak" scenes ahead. ‌ But speaking out about working with co-star Oliver Farnworth, who plays killer John, Lawrence had nothing but good things to say. Addressing the "tense" and "not good" scenes they've had to film together, Lawrence said offscreen the pair get along very well, with him calling Oliver "the loveliest man". He shared: "Oh, he's great. What a lovely boy. I've said that several times. I phoned him a couple of weeks ago, just to say how I thought he was doing such a great job, because, you know, playing a psycho like that - it is not easy. ‌ "And I do think he's doing a great job. And he is just the most loveliest man. It is surreal working with someone in such a relative close proximity for a while, and to really get to know them better and to just have a laugh with them, but then then do some not very nice scenes." On the future for Mack amid a row with his wife Charity Dingle and the stuff with John, Lawrence remained coy but did hint at bad things ahead. He simply said: "It's not looking good." Lawrence went on: "Whilst Mackenzie has got the argument with Charity on his plate, he's also got a pretty critical moment with John on his plate as well. And, combine these two things and it does not spell good things." Hollywood star to host new ITV game show which is already a smash hit around the globe

EX-QUIZ-ITE NEWS Hollywood star to host new ITV game show which is already a smash hit around the globe A GLOBAL quiz phenomenon is coming to ITV on Saturday nights — and chances are, if you've been abroad lately, you have already heard of it. Like The Traitors or Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, The Floor is a blockbuster format that's conquered TV markets around the world, including the US, where it's fronted by movie star Rob Lowe. Advertisement 6 The US version of The Floor is currently fronted by movie star Rob Lowe Credit: Dan Smith/FOX Now it's heading for its 25th territory, the UK. The show will land here next year, though ITV bosses are yet to reveal which famous face will be taking the helm in our version. Katie Rawcliffe, ITV's director of entertainment, said: 'The Floor, with its compelling gameplay, is an excellent addition to our roster of existing popular quiz shows across ITV and ITVX.' Originally a Dutch show, it features 81 quiz fanatics facing off in duels on a giant LED floor divided into 81 squares, each representing its own field of knowledge. Advertisement The goal is to conquer the entire floor and take home a huge cash prize, with each duel upping the stakes and the tension. The Floor has already been a big hit in countries including Australia, Poland and Spain and recently launched in Estonia and Latvia. Over in the US, it has already run for three seasons, and hiring such a big Hollywood name to front it was an instant sign of TV bosses' confidence in the format. Now broadcaster Fox has ordered two more seasons, continuing the format through next year and 2027 in America. Advertisement Sounds like they'll soon be flooring Brit quiz fans, too. The Floor fans love Rob Lowe's new game show - but spot 'rigged' detail with key segment PIERCE IN THE CLUB WITH HELEN 6 Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren appeared together on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight show Credit: Getty PIERCE BROSNAN and Helen Mirren have hit the campaign trail for Netflix's The Thursday Murder Club. The movie adaptation of Richard Osman's crime novel tells the story of a group of pensioners whose hobby of investigating unsolved killings explodes when a real-life murder lands on their patch. Advertisement The book is set in a quiet village in Kent – but if Pierce and Helen's glam appearance on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight show in the US is anything to go by, their film will be more Hollywood than humdrum. Ben Kingsley and Celia Imrie also star, with the movie debuting in cinemas on August 22 before it appears on Netflix on August 28. KATH IS OFF TO A FLYER 6 Katherine Kelly will play the role of a flight attendant for new Channel 4 drama In Flight Credit: Channel 4 / Peter Marley DON'T be surprised if Katherine Kelly's role as a flight attendant for new Channel 4 drama In Flight is ultra convincing. Advertisement The star of the six-parter revealed that a high-flying pal gave her a unique insight. Katherine said: 'I love the homework side of things. I love to step on set fully prepared. 'I have a friend who is senior cabin crew, so I was lucky enough to shadow her for a day.' The drama, which continues tonight at 9pm, follows single mum Jo, who is coerced into smuggling drugs for a dangerous criminal gang in a desperate bid to keep her son safe. Advertisement Katherine added: 'I just hope people are going to enjoy it because that's what the thrill is all about.' TOMMY DAD'S TIP FOR MOL 6 A new documentary is beginning next week about Tommy Fury Credit: BBC TOMMY FURY'S dad John told Molly-Mae Hague to leave his son when the Love Island pair's relationship got rocky. The revelation appears in his new documentary Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury, which begins next week on BBC Three. Advertisement John, who's also the father of champion boxer Tyson Fury, says in the first episode of the much-anticipated series: 'I knew from dealing with Tyson that when the drinking started to come into play, I thought 'Not again'. 'Molly came to me with this stuff, and I said, 'What you're best off doing with him, Molly, is walking away because if he is not gonna change himself, he doesn't think that much of you, does he?'' In the show, fighter Tommy discusses alleged infidelities prior to their brief split last year, but he maintains: 'The reason for our ending the relationship was alcohol.' FAN ALEX IS PITCH PERFECT 6 Funnyman Alex Brooker is set to feature on a new footie quiz Credit: Rex Advertisement ALEX BROOKER is kicking off a new football-themed quiz. The Last Leg funnyman will pit three diehard supporters against a team of sporting legends and celebrity fans to see who comes out on top. With the working title Call Yourself A Fan?, the show aims to echo the spirit of Soccer AM and Fantasy Football League. Gary Neville's Buzz 16 production company is behind the new show, which does not have a broadcaster confirmed yet. Advertisement But execs say it's a 'fast-paced format packed with laughs', with 'fierce competition, tantalising trivia, and a whole lot of nonsense, all held together by a brilliant host and a studio audience.' Sounds like a winner. LADIES SING THE LOOSE 6 Loose Women's Frankie Bridge was in The Saturdays Credit: Rex BEFORE many of ITV's first ladies became Loose Women, they were famed for their singing and dancing. Advertisement For starters, Frankie Bridge was in The Saturdays and – a little further back – Coleen Nolan was world famous with her sisters, selling more than 30million records. Now the daytime show will celebrate the healing power of music for the Loose ladies with a one-off show. Loose Women: The Music will feature special performances and stories shared by the cast about the times music has helped them. The special will be recorded later this month. Advertisement Perhaps they can tempt ex-Loosey Jane McDonald back to sing a tune or two. ITV has announced new shows as part of its Fresh Cuts diversity push. Sketch show Say! Less! stars rising black comedy stars, while in The Blind Matchmakers, a trio of vision-impaired love gurus helping singles find love. The shows, and four others, land on ITVX and YouTube later this year. Advertisement A DATING show will follow single lovebirds at a blood bank while they donate to save lives. Partnering with the NHS, two-parter Love Is In The Blood will launch on Tuesday on Channel 4.0 – the digital-first brand from Channel 4 – hosted by the YouTuber Adeola Patronne.

Noel Edmonds reveals he's buying house in the UK after show about his farm in New Zealand is AXED

He has opened up about the 'smiley' part of the country, which is where he plans to buy a house NOEL'S HOUSE PARTY Noel Edmonds reveals he's buying house in the UK after show about his farm in New Zealand is AXED TV presenter Noel Edmonds has bought a new home on the Isle of Man. The former Deal Or No Deal and Noel's House Party host, 76, plans to divide his time between his property, believed to be in the north of the island, and New Zealand. Advertisement 4 Noel Edmonds is buying a house in the UK after his show about his farm in New Zealand was axed Credit: Instagram 4 His Kiwi Adventure show was recently axed Credit: PA He claimed the island's 'massive community spirit' and sense of pride is what attracted him to make the move. 'I came for the very first time three years ago, and when you consider I lived in the UK all my life and I knew where it was geographically, I don't know why I didn't come before,' Noel told Manx Radio. 'I have purchased a property on the island, and I intend to spend some of the year here, but my principal home is New Zealand.' Noel dubbed the island 'the Smile of Man' because 'everyone seems so happy' and people 'look out for each other'. Advertisement He added: 'What's drawn me to the Smile of Man… you're bloody proud of the island, you're proud of the community, and across the water there [in the UK], you don't get that anymore.' It comes after ITV axed his Kiwi Adventure series, which aired in June and followed his life in New Zealand with his fifth wife, Liz. Noel, who moved there in 2018, had reportedly hoped the three-parter would become a fixture on the channel, but it failed to be a ratings hit. A TV insider told The Sun earlier this month: 'It's a blow to Noel as he was convinced he was on to a winning idea. Advertisement 'There was a great buzz around the series and it was well received by both viewers and critics alike. 'But it needed big numbers to spark a follow-up and attracting 1-1.5million per episode just wasn't enough.' Noel Edmonds reunites with 90s sidekick Mr Blobby on Good Morning Britain Sources close to Noel confirmed his disappointment but insisted other major factors were behind the decision — namely, the extreme weather. A source close to Noel told us: 'River Haven has been hit badly by flooding, it's made working on the estate almost impossible. Advertisement 'That would have meant filming would have been seriously hampered.' They added: 'As far as Noel is concerned, the show has been put on ice.' The Sun first revealed Noel was returning to TV last year after signing a £1million deal with the ITV. Over the past year he's been spotted making the most of his time on the Isle of Man, with visits to the Southern Agricultural Show in Ballasalla, the Milntown Estate in Ramsey, and even taking in the action at the infamous TT Races. Advertisement "I love the Isle of Man. I've been here a few times before," Noel said previously. 'This is my first TT – I've always wanted to come, and I live in New Zealand so I've travelled 11,000 miles to be here.' Locals who spotted Noel out and about were quick to notice an unusual quirk about the TV star. He frequently wore mismatched shoes - one light brown lace-up boot and one darker slip-on. Advertisement A spokesperson for the star claimed at the time: 'He loves doing quirky things just for the fun of it.' 4 Noel will soon buy a home in the UK Credit: PA
