Here's Our First Look at "Wednesday"Season 2

On Thursday, Netflix unveiled a first look at the upcoming second season of the Jenna Ortega-led series "Wednesday," hitting the streamer in 2025.
"Wednesday", produced by Tim Burton (who also directed the first season), was an instant hit upon making its Netflix debut in November 2022.
The series follows Ortega's titular Wednesday as she navigates her teenage years at Nevermore Academy.
Ortega, 22, starred alongside Joy Sunday, Emma Myers, Hunter Doohan, Moosa Mostafa, Victor Dorobantu, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, all of whom are set to return for season 2.
However, fellow season 1 stars Percy Hynes White, Jamie McShane and Naomi J Ogawa are reportedly not coming back for the upcoming installment.
Production on season 2 recently wrapped and will arrive on the streamer later this year.
Ahead of its eventual premiere, Ortega had teased that the new installment is dialing the scare factor up a notch.
"I think the feel that we're going for is a little bit more horror-inspired," she told Vanity Fair in August 2024. "Not to say that suddenly we're the goriest show of all time. I mean, there's six-year-olds watching. We're doing this thing now where Wednesday just kind of appears. She is a little bit of a jump scare herself."

Lebanon's Ejjeh 1926 Spent a Century Crafting Suits With Character

Meet the designer behind Love Is Blind Habibi's men's outfits. Aug 17, 2025 The process of dressing for a grand occasion is universally considered one of the more difficult tasks in life. You want to wear something that's flattering, but not doing too much, something that reflects who you are, but doesn't give too much away. It's a delicate balance that involves at least three group chat consultations and an entire wardrobe fleshed out on your bedroom floor. You can imagine the challenge posed ahead of Ejjeh 1926 designer and creative director Amer Ejjeh when he was asked to provide outfits for all of the bachelors on Netflix reality show Love Is Blind Habibi. 'We produce our suits according to each gentleman's character,' Ejjeh tells Scene Styled, 'His lifestyle dictates what fabric and cut we use.' Ejjeh's family has been in the tailoring business since 1926, dressing Lebanon's finest and gradually expanding their expertise globally. Their designs are majorly inspired by both the people they are made for and the environment surrounding them. 'Lebanon has different facets that make it special,' tells us Ejjeh, 'from the sea to the mountains to the valleys. One that sticks out in my head is beloved singer Fayrouz, who inspired the creation of the Fayrouz lapel, which has now become a classic.' With nearly a century of experience in the menswear industry, they've become delicately attuned to the process of building suits with character, and then changing them as clients change. On a show where personal and physical transformation is inevitable like Love Is Blind Habibi, this skill came particularly useful - especially when one of the suitors' figure changed days from his big reveal - a hurdle Ejjeh was able to overcome in a matter of hours.

Wednesday's Season 2: Did It Really Meet Expectations?

No one can deny that the first season of Wednesday was one of the year's biggest hits, a short drama that perfectly blended thriller and fantasy. Audiences quickly connected with Wednesday Addams and her relentless drive to uncover the truth behind the monster. But with Season 2's first four episodes now out, it's hard to say the new chapter has lived up to the hype, at least so far. Swipe left for the full review! Four Episodes That Feel Like Ten. It's unusual to feel bored just four episodes into a season, but many fans seem to share that sentiment. The subplots about her Nevermore classmates feel disconnected from the central mystery, and the overemphasis on her family — considered one of the least compelling parts of Season 1 — adds little to the story. And honestly, aren't we all a bit over the zombie trope? Given the anticipation for this season, the new episodes fall short of expectations. To be fair, the season does find a spark toward the end of Episode 4, with the build-up to the not-so-intense confrontation between Wednesday and Tyler. This moment, while not groundbreaking, might be the only thing making us curious about the next four episodes dropping in September. Overall, it's not a complete miss, but it does lend weight to the saying that 'firsts are always the best.' And in the case of Wednesday, that might just be true. Have you watched it?
