Former Carlisle United man McKirdy released by League Two club
Former Carlisle United forward Harry McKirdy has been released by Bromley after just three months with the club.
He is one of four players let go by the Ravens after the League Two season.
McKirdy is joined at the exit door at Hayes Lane by his former United team-mate Olufela Olomola as well as Louis Dennis and Myles Weston.
The decisions follow Bromley's 11th-placed finish in their debut season in the EFL.
McKirdy, who was on United's books in 2019/20, joined Andy Woodman's side in February after a spell with Hibernian.
The 28-year-old made nine appearances and scored two goals, the second of those strikes coming in Bromley's 2-1 defeat at Brunton Park on March 22.
That game saw McKirdy celebrate his goal by taunting home fans - who responded with chants and abuse in the former Swindon Town man's direction.
United boss Mark Hughes later suggested McKirdy's antics had hindered his team on the day.
McKirdy only managed two starts with the rest of his appearances coming from the substitutes' bench. His time at United saw 11 goals in 38 appearances.

For striker Olomola his release from the London club marks the end of a two-year stay at Bromley.
The man who was on loan at Carlisle in 2019/20 made 54 appearances and scored 13 goals for the Ravens.
Olomola, 27, scored six goals in 33 outings during his spell with the Blues.
A third ex-Carlisle player, captain and central defender Byron Webster, remains at Bromley. The 38-year-old's contract is also up this summer but the Ravens have not yet confirmed their full retained and released list.

Associated Press WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) — Stu Wilson, an elusive All Blacks winger whose playing style reflected his ebullient personality, has died. He was 70. Wilson's death was confirmed by New Zealand Rugby, which did not specify a cause. He died in his sleep Sunday at his home in Tauranga on New Zealand's North Island. Wilson was a natural joker whose play was many years ahead of its time. He foreshadowed the larger, stronger wingers who are now commonplace but he also had pace, balance and an ability to break tackles. Wilson scored 19 tries in 35 tests for the All Blacks which, at the time of his retirement, was the all-time record for New Zealand. That included a hat-trick of tries against the British and Irish Lions at Dunedin in 1983. He captained the All Blacks on their 1983 tour to Britain and formed a brilliant attacking partnership at provincial and international level with his fellow winger and friend Bernie Fraser. Ravens lineman's estranged wife denies adultery claims, calls allegations 'bad faith' in divorce battle
Ben Cleveland's estranged wife is firing back at adultery allegations made by the NFL lineman. Cleveland and his estranged wife, Kaityln Terrell Cleveland, are involved in a divorce, which was first filed in February. The Baltimore Ravens lineman made adultery claims against his wife, and she called them "knowingly false." Kaitlyn Cleveland "vehemently" denied the claims in a court filing on Thursday, which Fox News Digital obtained. Kaitlyn Cleveland goes on to say the claims were made "in bad faith." She hinted that the Baltimore Ravens lineman's claims were false in March, when she posted Kelsea Ballerini lyrics on her Instagram Stories that suggested she had much to say about the divorce but couldn't speak on it. A screenshot by TMZ showed one lyric from Ballerini's song titled "Interlude" that read, "The rumors goin' 'round, but the truth is kindas nuanced. I wanna set it straight, but my lawyer says I shouldn't." In her answer and counterclaim, Kaitlyn Cleveland also requested a judge equitably split their assets while granting her alimony if they are unable to reach an agreement. Ben and Kaitlyn Cleveland have been separated since December 2024 despite the divorce filing coming in February. The date of separation was noted in the first court filing. Cleveland was a third-round pick by the Ravens in 2021, and he re-signed with the team this offseason to remain a fixture on the offensive line. He could see a larger role in 2025 after being used sparingly over his first four seasons. Cleveland has seven starts under his belt in 54 games since joining the team, all of which coming at offensive guard.
