NYPD shares VERY glamorous photo of wanted suspect...and everyone's noticing the same thing
The NYPD's latest wanted poster features a suspect whose assets are now being sought for all the wrong reasons.
Lucie Lora, a 34-year-old woman from Queens, was arrested Wednesday morning after the NYPD released a striking wanted poster with a seductive expression and a plunging neckline.
The scandalous poster was intended to help authorities locate Lora, who along with her brother Carlos Lora Diaz, allegedly attempted to steal his ex-fiancée's engagement ring during a violent confrontation at a Jackson Heights apartment.
But the internet was struck with the crime of sheer lust.
Lora is accused of telling her 38-year-old brother to snatch his ex's ring as tensions flared inside an apartment on 32nd Avenue near 91st Street around 9:40 am Thursday, police said.
Diaz allegedly injured the woman's hand in the process, hurting her thumb and pushing her to the ground, hurting her hip, before both suspects fled the scene, according to police.
Around 8 am on Tuesday, several days following the NYPD's release of the eye-catching photo, the pilfering siblings were apprehended around and charged with second-degree attempted robbery.
While its Lora's first known arrest, Diaz has three prior offenses, though details have not been publicly disclosed.
Lora's revealing wanted poster has since caught the attention of many as social media users have expressed surprise and amusement over the NYPD's choice of photo.
'I need to see the evidence ... both of them,' one user wrote on X.
'That definitely helps...they at least find her boobs...' another user on X, formerly Twitter, joked.
'Dopes, no one will be looking at her face, never will be apprehended...' one user added.
'Come on guys, someone in NYC should be able to identify those t***,' another wrote.
Another chimed in: 'Wanted for stealing my heart.'
'Every man has been looking for her for a long time,' another quipped.
Just last month, the internet was sent into another frenzy after a sorority girl's stunning mugshot pictured the college girl smiling ear to ear in the grainy police picture.
Lily Stewart was arrested on March 8 for speeding in excess of maximum limits. In some parts of Georgia, the fine for speeding can be as high as $1,000.
Morgan County Crime shared Stewart's mugshot with her arrest information but it didn't take long for viewers on the Internet to react to the striking image.
'Whatever she did my heart says she's innocent,' one person wrote on social media.
An account on X also shared the mugshot, and hundreds of social media users rushed to the comment section, with one writing, 'Is her phone number in the report? Asking for a friend.'
One person went as far as asking to see her in person, commenting, 'Hey Lily, My fraternity has a date night next week if you are seeing this you are invited.'
Stewart seemed to have a sense of humor about her viral mugshot, posting a TikTok with her favorite internet reactions.
She shared the photo on her account and captioned the post, 'Some of my favorite/unhinged comments on my mugshot.'
'They done locked up miss America,' one comment read.
'Guilty of stealing my heart, your honor,' another chimed in.
'I guess being pretty is a crime now,' a third joked.
Viewers rushed to Stewart's personal account with jokes about her mugshot, with one comment on her recent post reading, 'I just wanna know how fast you were going cause that's genuinely impressive.'
Stewart was arrested in Morgan County, which borders Athens, where the University of Georgia is located.

Boy, 15, arrested after being 'seen with gun' in Liverpool
A 15-year-old boy has been arrested after a member of the public reported seeing what they believed was a gun in his pocket. Police were called to Merthyr Grove, Childwall, shortly after 3:05pm on Thursday 5 June following reports of a suspicious item. Officers found and arrested the teenager around nearly 30 minutes later on Chelwood Avenue. He was detained on suspicion of possessing a firearm and has been taken into custody for questioning. Merseyside Police confirmed there is no indication the item was used to threaten or harm anyone. The teenager is believed to have travelled from Inchcape Road before being stopped by officers. A significant police presence was seen in the area, including officers carrying out door-to-door enquiries and searches using sniffer dogs. Police dogs were spotted combing through grass, trees, and front gardens along Bowring Park Road, and officers also searched areas near the Greystone Footbridge over the M62. In a statement, Merseyside Police said no weapon had yet been recovered, and a full forensic examination of the scene is underway. Detectives are reviewing CCTV footage and speaking to witnesses as part of the investigation. Detective Inspector Mike Fletcher said: 'Merseyside Police investigates all firearms-related reports thoroughly and will pursue anyone involved in carrying or using weapons. 'We are grateful to members of the public who reported this incident, allowing us to make a swift arrest. Officers remain in the area conducting extensive enquiries. 'We've worked hard to reduce the number of firearms on our streets and will continue to use all resources available to keep Merseyside safe.' Epstein files explained: Michael Jackson, Prince Andrew and other celebs named in documents
The names in the Jeffrey Epstein files have been released and include many high profile figures. The previously confidential court papers connected to Jeffrey Epstein have now been disclosed, revealing the identities of several notable individuals. Elon Musk terminated his once close relationship with Donald Trump in dramatic fashion this evening, as he prepared to unveil what he termed a massive "bomb" about the former president. Using his X (Twitter) profile, the world's wealthiest individual announced it was "Time to drop the really big bomb", subsequently alleging that Donald Trump "is in the Epstein files". Last year, Trump was mentioned as an acquaintance of the infamous financier Jeffrey Epstein when certain sensitive court documents were uncovered. However, there are no implications that Donald Trump had knowledge of any illicit activities, nor that he engaged in criminal conduct. Among the high-profile figures listed are Michael Jackson, Prince Andrew, and Leonardo DiCaprio, alongside politicians such as Bill Clinton and Donald Trump. These records encompass not just Epstein's accusers but also members of his staff who shared their accounts with the press, individuals who delivered testimonies at Maxwell's trial, those mentioned incidentally during depositions without being accused of any inappropriate conduct, and investigators of Epstein, covering prosecutors, a journalist, and a police officer, reports the Mirror. When the decision to unseal documents was made public, it sparked speculation about a potential list of "clients" or "co-conspirators." However, the presiding judge clarified her decision to release the records, noting that much of the content is already in the public domain. The documents are set to reveal names such as former FBI director Louis Freeh, politicians like Al Gore, Bill Clinton, and Donald Trump, along with actors Cate Blanchett, Naomi Campbell, Cameron Diaz, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Bruce Willis. Also listed are the late physicist Stephen Hawking and illusionist David Copperfield. Jeffrey Epstein was a billionaire known for his connections with high-profile figures, including celebrities, politicians, billionaires, and academic luminaries. He was first arrested in Palm Beach, Florida, in 2005 after allegations surfaced that he paid a 14 year old gir l for sex. Subsequent accounts from dozens of other underage girls detailed similar instances of sexual abuse, but in 2008, prosecutors allowed Epstein to plead guilty to a charge involving just one victim. He served 13 months in a jail work-release program. For comprehensive coverage of the latest news, politics, sports, and entertainment from the USA, visit The Mirror US. Despite his conviction, some of Epstein's famous contacts, including ex-presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, distanced themselves from him, while others did not. Epstein continued to socialise with the elite, often through his charitable activities, for another decade. The judge ruled that a few names should remain redacted in the documents as they would reveal the identities of those who suffered sexual abuse. Before the documents were unsealed, the names were listed in court papers under various versions of J Doe. Many individuals on the list had already been publicly identified as associates of Epstein through years of media coverage. Prince Andrew has vehemently denied all allegations, with Buckingham Palace previously stating that the allegations are "categorically untrue". Below is a list of some names that have been released so far, as reported by Newsweek. Those listed were named as associates of Epstein, and there is no implication that they were aware of his crimes or involved in any criminal activity.
