Celebs at Wimbledon: Dave Grohl, Olivia Rodrigo headline A-listers in crowds
The Foo Fighters frontman, 56, looked the part in his glistening suit as he walked through the All England Club gates alongside wife Jordyn Blum.
Last year, the rock star admitted to fathering a love-child with another woman as he was accused of having 'a 15-year affair with a porn goddess'.
But he and wife Jordyn were all smiles as they made their way to Centre Court for the day's action.
And it was case of music greats past and present in attendance as play on the outside courts was delayed by the bad weather.
That is because Olivia Rodrigo was also invited to the tennis as a guest of the club, just three days after headlining the final night of Glastonbury, while Sir Cliff Richard was back once more.
And there was plenty of stars from the sporting world, too.
Current England manager Thomas Tuchel headed to SW19 for the first time since taking on the job from Sir Gareth Southgate - who was at Wimbledon on Monday.
Another of Tuchel's Three Lions predecessors, Roy Hodgson, also headed to South-West London on Wednesday alongside wife Sheila.
Graeme Le Saux earned 36 England caps - plus a fair few more in Soccer Aid.
He also boasts membership at the All England Club and proudly wore his badge upon arrival this morning.
Diver Tom Daley — used to the water — proved he is just as capable at turning out a fashionable number as he is at twisting and turning into the pool.
Golfer Tommy Fleetwood opted for a shimmering grey suit and tie paired with grey loafers.
Actor Dominic Cooper defied his 47 years by dazzling in a brilliant sky-blue suit.
And wrestler John Cena could be seen after all as he arrived with wife Shay Shariatzadeh.
Despite the wet weather in Wimbledon, the celebs can expect another bumper day from their seats in the Royal Box on Centre Court.
The day's order of play started with world No1 Aryna Sabalenka vs Marie Bouzkova followed by Brit student Ollie Tarvet against defending champion Carlos Alcaraz.
And the third match on Centre saw two Grand Slam champions pitted against each other in round two as 2021 US Open queen Emma Raducanu faced 2023 Wimbledon winner Marketa Vondrousova.
The Sun BECKHAM, BLANCHETT, REBEL WILSON LEAD STARS AT WIMBLEDON ON DAY ONE
David Beckham made a mad 4,000-mile dash back from the Club World Cup to join the celebrities on the first day of Wimbledon.
The former England captain watched his Inter Miami side get dumped out of the tournament by his former employers PSG on Sunday night.
The 4-0 victory for PSG kicked off at 5pm local time at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia – or 10pm UK time.
But despite the match finishing just 13-and-a-half hours before play got underway on Centre Court, Beckham hot-footed it across the Atlantic to be joined by his mum Sandra.
And he even posed for a selfie 12 hours after full-time in Atlanta with Wimbledon 2004 champion Maria Sharapova, who was one of the first big-name arrivals.
The Russian has been a regular at the All England Club since her retirement and once again made the most of her membership to watch the tennis.
So before things got underway on the court, Sharapova and a suited-and-booted Beckham posed for a brilliant selfie for their combined 92million followers.
Sharapova – decked out in a denim skirt and navy polo in the record-breaking sweltering heat – wrote: 'Let the (Wimbledon) games begin.'
It has been a busy few days for Becks – set to get a knighthood – who underwent secret surgery on his wrist.
He wore a sling and had heavy strapping on the joint at the Club World Cup last night.
But he had no sling when he took his seat in the Royal Box for the start of Carlos Alcaraz vs Fabio Fognini – but had swapped his dark suit for a cream one.
Beckham sat next to former England boss Sir Gareth Southgate – fresh from his knighthood – was also among the VIPs taking in the Day One action.
And it was not just footballers in the house.
Former cricket star Stuart Broad was in attendance with partner and ex-The Saturdays singer Mollie King.
Actors Eddie Redmayne and Jason Isaacs plus singers Cliff Richard and Ronan Keating were in the Royal Box, too.
Sam Thompson of Made In Chelsea and I'm A Celebrity fame also made the short journey from West London to South-West London.
Oliver Proudlock and Emma Louise Connolly, Laura Whitmore, Isla Fisher and Rochelle and Marvin Humes were also among first-day attendees.

And Just Like That: Can reboots ever out-do the originals?
And just like that, Kim Cattrall appears to have been right all along. Cattrall was accused of being a cocktail party-pooper for refusing to reprise her role as Samantha Jones in the much-anticipated Sex and the City reboot And Just Like That … due to tensions with series star Sarah Jessica Parker. Apart from a brief cameo (filmed without any of her estranged co-stars present), Samantha has been MIA from the three seasons of the refreshed series, her absence from her previously ride-or-die friendship with Carrie Bradshaw and co in New York explained by a move to London. In an interview with Variety, Cattrall admitted that, given the huge popularity of the series, it was difficult not to be bullied into returning by fans and the press. 'I haven't deserted anybody,' she said, defending her choice to leave Samantha behind. 'Can you imagine going back to a job you did 25 years ago? And the job didn't get easier; it got more complicated in the sense of: how are you going to progress with these characters?' The answer to that question, fans discovered, were storylines which generally seem to fluctuate between cringe-inducing and just plain boring. But are fans, blinded by nostalgic affection, being too hard on the And Just Like That's leading ladies? While the original Sex and the City was criticised for its lack of diversity, And Just Like That copped flack for being too woke. In particular, the character of Che Diaz (an embarrassingly unfunny stand-up comedian played by Sara Ramirez) became the target of vitriol. Ahead of their departure from the series, Ramirez sought to distance themselves from the divisive Che. 'I am not the fictional characters I have played, nor am I responsible for the things that are written for them to say,' Ramirez wrote on Instagram. 'I am a human being, an artist, an actor. And we are living in a world that has become increasingly hostile toward anyone who dares to free themselves from the gender binary or disrupt the mainstream.' In an interview with The Guardian, Parker admitted she was shocked to learn there was so much hatred for Che. 'I've been an actor for 50 years, and I've almost never paid attention to peripheral chatter,' she said, adding that she had a good time on set with Ramirez. 'I loved working with them.' Even now that Che has thankfully left the high-rise building — but although not before seducing Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) in the kitchen while a bedridden Carrie listened in and was forced to pee in a drink bottle. And Just Like That's writers have found new and unexpected ways to make viewers squirm and roll their eyes. Three seasons in, and many fans are also wishing they'd followed Cattrall's lead and sat this one out after enduring a cringe-inducing phone sex session between Carrie (Parker) and Aidan Shaw (John Corbett), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) deflowering a nun, and Harry Goldenblatt (Evan Handler) wetting his leather pants at a nightclub. Oh, and don't get me started on that huge Strawberry Shortcake hat donned by Carrie for a stroll in the park. A guest appearance by Patti LuPone as a judgmental diva was unfortunately timed given the legendary performer's recent cancellation for her snarky remarks about Broadway actors Kecia Lewis and Audra McDonald in The New Yorker. Likewise, fans have noticed glaring continuity errors involving Aidan's estranged wife Kathy (Rosemarie DeWitt) and the father of Lisa Todd Wexley (Nicole Ari Parker). DeWitt played a completely different character in Sex and the City before showing up as Kathy. While Lisa referenced her dad's death back in season one – only to have him drop dead as a plot point in season three. After pointing out the double standards that see female-led shows more subject to scrutiny than those starring men, Parker has found silver linings in all the commentary about the series. 'I ultimately think that all those feelings are pretty fantastic. That kind of connection and those kinds of strong feelings, both positive and negative, are pretty wonderful,' she told Huffpost UK. Let's face it, a show like Sex and the City – which was so groundbreaking and beloved by its fans – was going to be a tough act to follow. The same could be said for any sequel or reboot. Some, like the reimagined Heartbreak High and Cobra Kai breathe new life into an old favourite while retaining just enough nostalgic references to keep diehard fans happy. Others, like the renewed Offspring, the Neighbours' short-lived resuscitation of Neighbours or the meta-reboot of Beverly Hills, 90210, never quite hit the same high notes as the original. Or perhaps it's just possible to have too much of a good thing. You be the judge with these titles: Check out these sequels and reboots streaming on Tubi, and you be the judge. Rescue from Gilligan's Island: Featuring all the original cast, this TV movie follows the famous castaways as they struggle to adjust back to regular life after being marooned on a desert island. Backdraft 2: The son of legendary firefighter Bull McCaffrey investigates a new spate of arson attacks with the help of his uncle Brian (William Baldwin reprising his role from the 1991 original). Titanic 2: Yep. There's actually a sequel to the much beloved film starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio where a century after the famous disaster a new luxury cruise liner sets sail.

Lyon: England abandoning 'reckless' Bazball for Aussie cricket style
Australian spin star Nathan Lyon says England is transforming its once 'totally reckless' Bazball approach to mirror the win-orientated Aussies and are now playing a style they have championed for the past decade. Lyon has often downplayed England's touted ultra-aggressive style under coach Brendon McCullum and repeated his analysis on Tuesday. England leads what has become a feisty series against India 2-1 heading into the final Test this week before it prepares for the upcoming Ashes in Australia with players including the world's No.1 batter, Harry Brook, declaring his team has been 'too nice' in the past. Lyon, a self-labelled 'cricket nuffy', says he is watching the heated series with keen interest and is noticing a shift in the English way with winning now above entertainment in their goals. 'I think they're just doing what we've been doing for the last 10 years, playing a positive brand of cricket (and) trying to win games of cricket,' Lyon said. 'I think Bazball has honestly changed a little bit, they're now thinking about ways of how to win games, not being totally reckless. There have been several flashpoints in England's series against India. (Photo by) 'The conditions over here, it's always been a great competition between bat and ball … it's going to be challenging for their batters, challenging for our batters. 'At the end of the day and you want to see competition between bat and ball, I think that's crucial … all the fans, that's what they want to see as well.' Lyon was dropped for the first time in over a decade ahead of the final Test in the West Indies for eventual hat-trick taker Scott Boland. But the off-spinner isn't expecting to be carrying the drinks come the first Test at Perth Stadium later this year. Lyon says he is already studying the English and how he can navigate their aggressive style. 'I totally expect them to come out and attack me, I think every touring team comes and says they're going to attack the spinner,' he said. 'I've got some plans and am already writing down a few things I want to try and put in play and working on. 'That's exciting, that's why you want to play against the best players in the game and they've got some of the best batters at the moment playing in their side. 'It's going to be a good challenge we should all be very excited about.' Cricket Australia confirmed on Tuesday that England would take on a PMs XI in a pink-ball contest in Canberra in the lead-up to the second Test at the Gabba, which will be a day-night affair.

Prince Harry's latest peace offering to estranged dad King Charles and brother Prince William revealed
Prince Harry has reportedly agreed to share his official diary with the royal family as a peace offering to his dad, King Charles III, and brother Prince William. The olive branch would help avoid schedule conflicts between Harry and Meghan Markle's events and royal family engagements, the Daily Mail reported Saturday. The proposal is allegedly a way of shutting down claims that the Sussexes are trying to steal the spotlight from the British royals. The move came days after Harry's trip to Angola dominated headlines and buried Charles' wife Queen Camilla's 78th birthday portrait reveal. Harry's transparency could potentially pave the way for a face-to-face meeting between him and his estranged dad being scheduled into their busy itineraries, especially considering peace talks have allegedly been held between the two camps. 'Before that meeting between their aides in London, conflicts of interest or clashes of publicity were relished and even perhaps encouraged by the Sussexes,' an insider claimed to the outlet, adding, 'Now, Harry has shifted into a new way of thinking. The tone is now all about 'deconflicting' with his family.' The source explained that the Sussex household has offered to 'draw up a 'grid' of his activities and share them with Buckingham Palace.' In doing so, Kensington Palace would also be looped in on the plans, therefore keeping William and Kate Middleton informed. 'Harry still doesn't like being controlled by the Royal machinery, and that won't change,' the insider said. 'However, if the Royal Family have full sight of his movements they can at least plan accordingly.' The source called Harry's peace offering a 'significant gesture.' Page Six has reached out to Harry's rep for comment. Harry, 40, has been on the outs with his father, 76, and older brother, 43, since he and Markle, also 43, resigned from their royal duties in 2020. They ultimately moved to Montecito, California, where they live with their two kids: Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4. The Invictus Games founder went on to drag his royal family members in several interviews as well as in his memoir, Spare. However, Harry has since shared his desire to reconcile with the reigning monarch and even allegedly invited his dad and brother to his 2027 Invictus Games. Meanwhile, Markle has been busy building her lifestyle empire with her Goop-like brand, As Ever.
