Jason Kelce's still got it.
The ex-NFL center, who went viral for screaming at critics of the Philadelphia Eagles during a post-parade speech after the Super Bowl LII victory, put together another viral-worthy promo this week.
As Kelce co-hosts the 'New Heights' podcast with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, the two welcomed Taylor Swift onto the show for the first time.
Although Swift needs no introduction these days, she still got one, as Jason Kelce cut another WWE-Esque promo ahead of her 'New Heights' debut.
"Our guest today is a singer, songwriter, producer, and director from Nashville, Tennessee—that's [expletive] she's from Reading, Pennsylvania—she is the most awarded artist in the history of the American Music Awards, Billboard Musical Awards, and iHeart Radio Music Awards," Kelce started.
"She has 14 Grammy Awards and is the only artist in history to win album of the year four times! Last year, she wrapped up The Eras Tour, which spanned 149 shows across 51 cities, five continents, and was the most attended tour of all time! I'm still going, hold up! Her last album, The Tortured Poets Department, set a record with 1.76 billion streams globally within the first week alone! ... 92 percenters! Are you ready for it?! Making her podcasting debut, the most requested guest in the history of shows, Taylor Swift!"
Oh man, that was mouthful! — Jason Kelce (@JasonKelce) August 13, 2025
Admittedly exhausted and cramping after going on his rant, Kelce received thanks from Swift, who clearly got a kick out of the introduction.
"That was so good! Thank you! Thank you for screaming for like 47 seconds for me, that was so nice," Swift responded.
Wednesday will mark the first time Swift joins the 'New Heights' show, which debuted in 2022. At the time, both Kelce brothers were active NFL players. Jason Kelce was reaching the end of his career with the Eagles, while Travis Kelce was at the height of his career with the Chiefs.
ESPN analyst Jason Kelce looks on prior to the game between the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field on September 16, 2024 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Taylor Swift Nearly Doubles Trump's Podcast Ratings
Taylor Swift appeared last night on her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce's, podcast to promote her upcoming 12th studio album, 'The Life of a Show Girl,' and a lot of people tuned in. The premiere live stream of the two-hour New Heights podcast drew up to 1.3 million viewers in its first hour, Variety reported. That's nearly double the 800,000 viewers who tuned in to watch Donald Trump's appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience during its first hour last October, according to CNN. 'I owe a lot to this podcast,' Swift said during the episode. 'This podcast got me a boyfriend.' Views of Swift's appearance are still climbing and could eventually make it one of the most-watched podcasts ever. It also highlights a shift in the media landscape, where celebrities—and even politicians—are skipping traditional outlets like late-night TV and turning to podcasts instead. Amazon recently restructured its audio business with the goal of boosting sponsorships of its creator-led shows, which include New Heights. The new record could also add fuel to the one-sided beef President Donald Trump has against the pop star. About 1 hour and 44 minutes in, Swift's fans crashed YouTube's stream of the episode. 'Shoutout all the 92%ers and swifties for actually helping us break the internet,' the podcast's X account posted last night. Swift's New Heights episode had already passed 11 million views just 19 hours after it dropped. For context, the most-watched Joe Rogan Experience episode ever is Elon Musk's 2018 appearance, with 69 million views, while Trump's episode from October currently sits at 59 million. However, there is likely at least one person not happy with Swift's success last night. Trump has been a big hater of the singer ever since she endorsed Kamala Harris for president during the election last year. 'I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!,' he wrote on Truth Social just days after her endorsement in September. He took another jab in February, referencing the Super Bowl, where Swift was reportedly booed. 'The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift,' he posted on Truth Social. 'She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!' And just this month, Trump brought her up again in a post praising actress Sydney Sweeney. 'Or just look at Woke singer Taylor Swift. Ever since I alerted the world as to what she was by saying on TRUTH that I can't stand her (HATE!). She was booed out of the Super Bowl and became, NO LONGER HOT,' wrote Trump.

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Recently released WWE superstar Shayna Baszler has revealed a shocking detail about her departure from the company. In a new interview, the former two-time NXT Women's Champion confirmed that she had three years remaining on her WWE contract at the time of her release in May. The revelation highlights the often-brutal business nature of professional wrestling. Baszler made the comments during a recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show. Three Years Left On WWE Deal While speaking with Helwani, Baszler was asked if she was surprised by her release. She admitted that she was not, due to the fact that she had been off of television for several months. However, she then dropped the bombshell that she had just re-signed with the company in 2024. "She also revealed that she had 3 years remaining on her WWE deal at the time of her release after re-signing last year." A Dominant WWE Force Shayna Baszler's WWE career began with one of the most dominant runs in the history of the NXT brand. A pioneer of women's mixed martial arts and a member of the famed "Four Horsewomen of MMA," she brought a level of legitimate toughness and credibility that was unmatched in the division. NEW YORK, NY - AUGUST 23: Crowds cheer at the WWE SummerSlam 2015 at Barclays Center of Brooklyn on August 23, 2015 in New York City. As the "Queen of Spades," she was a two-time NXT Women's Champion, holding the title for a combined 549 days. Her reign of terror over the NXT women's division established her as a truly feared and respected final boss. An Inconsistent WWE Main Roster Journey Despite her success in NXT, Baszler's main roster career was a story of inconsistent booking. While she had moments of dominance, including an incredible performance at an Elimination Chamber match in 2020, and multiple reigns as a WWE Women's Tag Team Champion, she was never booked with the same unstoppable aura she had in NXT. More news: WWE Superstar Announces Retirement Match Her final storyline saw her as a member of the "Pure Fusion Collective" faction alongside Zoey Stark and Sonya Deville. After Deville's contract expired in February 2025, the group was left in creative limbo, and Baszler was taken off television until her release in May. Despite her recent departure, Baszler was brought back to NXT in July for a trial run as a backstage producer. She is now an official free agent, and one of the most sought-after names on the open market. More WWE News: For more on WWE, head to Newsweek Sports.
