DJ Manda Moor reveals top music picks as she's set to light up dancefloors this summer
As co-founder of the record label, Mood Child, alongside French electronic maestro Sirus Hood, Manda has carved out her own space in the dance music sphere with the raw energy and deep soul you can hear in her music.

Mood Child as a label celebrates rhythm, unity, and pure, unfiltered dancefloor euphoria.
She has compiled an exclusive playlist for us which brings together some of the most infectious cuts from the Mood Child back catalogue. All of these tracks pulse with groove, bounce with bass and never fail to move a crowd.
Watch Them Come Roy Davis Jr. featuring Peven Everett
Also be sure to check out Manda's new remix of Roy Davis Jr's Men From The Nile classic, Watch Them Come - a sun-drenched, feel-good rework. It's the perfect blend of nostalgia and forward-thinking house, and a testament to Manda's evolving artistry.
Pakit Ban - Marian, Freenzy
This track is definitely a Mood Child anthem made by 2 very talented Brazilian artists, who are some of the most prolific producers on the label. It's funky, has driving percussions, the famous 'Pakit Ban vocal' on repeat and an addictive synth. I remember playing it for the first time in Ibiza at the Paradise opening after party in 2023, then it became the tune of summer 2024 and is still very much played by the greatest names of the scene such as Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati and Luciano to name a few.
Just A Feeling - Nick Curly
I have always been a fan of Nick Curly and to have his music on Mood Child feels surreal. This track is a groovy gem that has a unique and powerful build-up, with his signature rhythms imprinted in it. I'm very fond of this one and I love to play it.
Believe - Reboot, Sirus Hood
Absolutely obsessed with the groove on this tune made by German maestro Reboot and Mood Child co-founder Sirus Hood. To me it represents optimum class and quality, I'm in love with the bassline that feels like purrs of a cat.
This one is special to me because it's my first release on the label. I made it in Ibiza during Covid times, in collaboration with my good friend Trangaz. It's bumping, and I really like the blend of the melodic elements like the piano with the raw analog sounds of the low ends.

Lower Level - DJ Sneak
Mood Child has been blessed with the mastery of the Chicago House legend DJ Sneak. It's a true honor to have him on the label, he is one of the true pioneers of electronic music. This track is released on 'Gangsta Moods', it showcases Sneak's signature gangster side that I love.

Ritmo Bonito - Yaya
Loving this minimal funky tune by Yaya from Italy, the chords and the fast groove are addictive. This track has been released on 'Fonky Moods', it's the perfect mood for it.
Boothy (Manda Moor Spicy Remix) - Sirus Hood, Trangaz
This is a remix I made for Sirus Hood & Trangaz's track called 'Boothy'. It's such a fun track to me, the vocal by Trangaz is playful and talks about the shenanigans in a DJ booth.
Wabi Sabi - Manda Moor, Malikk
This is a collaboration I did with my good friend Malikk from France who is one of Mood Child OGs. It's a hot banger with spicy percussions, I love playing it in my sets.
Speaking of Malikk, this is my favorite track from him, it's part of his album released on the label. I play it at almost every set, the groove and the drum patterns are out of this world.

It's official: The infamous Melbourne Star will spin again in 2026
It's been a sad four years since Melbourne's iconic (and often much-maligned) ferris wheel ground to a Covid-induced halt. Now, the owners of the Melbourne Star have officially confirmed that the infamous attraction is opening up again – and is due to start spinning in Docklands (hopefully) by the end of 2026. The 120-metre tall wheel has been standing tragically still since it shut up shop in the September of 2021, with many people assuming this was the end for the Melbourne Star, which had been in operation for 13 years. But now, in excellent news for ferris wheel enthusiasts, the sky-high attraction is coming back, an exact opening date is yet to be announced, the team has confirmed a few key details about the Melbourne Star's renaissance. It's set to be managed by Skyline Attractions (the same people behind Skyline Melbourne and the St Kilda ferris wheel) in partnership with technology solutions agency the Robu Group and US-based carnival and entertainment company Ray Cammack Shows. The relaunch of the observation wheel has been described by Lord Mayor Nick Reece as 'a huge moment for Melbourne and a vote of confidence in the future of Docklands,' – with the City of Melbourne supporting the project. Further details – including ticketing prices and related activations are yet to be announced, but based on what we've seen from the Skyline Attractions team at their other venues, we're expecting big things. According to the organisers, visitor numbers in the first year are estimated at a quarter of a million. In the meantime, you'll just have to get your spinning fix at Skyline, which is located by the Yarra River.

'Fry up breakfast' served at Harry Potter World sparks furious debate
'Fry up breakfast' served at Harry Potter World sparks furious debate A photo of a "sad looking" fry-up served at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida has sparked outrage among British breakfast fans American Friend went to Harry Potter world in the US and got this abomination. (Image: reddit) A thoroughly fry-up dished up at Harry Potter World has sparked considerable outrage amongst Britain's breakfast enthusiasts. Italians witnessing broken spaghetti, elderly Spaniards confronted with poorly cured jamón, French servers dealing with demanding customers - culinary stereotypes and subsequent fury abound. For Brits, nothing is more guaranteed to infuriate the average person than an American's attempt at assembling a Full Welsh/English/Scottish/Irish breakfast. Combine that with theme park pricing, and you've created the perfect storm for absolute rage. This precise scenario unfolded during a visit to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, where an inquisitive American chose to order a traditional fry-up. The Orlando Informer blog reports that such a breakfast commands $19.99 (£14.81). Images of the pitiful meal surfaced alongside concerns that the traditional fry-up faces mounting threats to its future. Have you experienced an exceptional or utterly disappointing breakfast whilst travelling?, reports the Mirror. On the small, black plate sits a pool of questionable-looking beans, which is spreading around and making contact with other breakfast components on several sides. These include clammy-appearing mushrooms and, on the opposite side of the dish, grey-hued scrambled egg. Crowning the mound of letdown sits not only a parched croissant, but a butter sachet. Pieces of bacon and black pudding seem to lie close by. Predictably, the responses the post generated were far from compassionate. "This has managed to insult both English and French breakfast culture simultaneously. "What's worse is how this was likely overpriced and tasted quite bland," one person wrote. Another Redditor was so incensed they targeted the culinary skills of most of the globe. "Genuinely, I've never seen good British food outside of the UK and Ireland," they wrote. "Whether it is a fry up, a roast dinner, a pie, or pasty, or even fish and chips, it's always bastardised and messed up and not very good. "Whenever you see fish and chips, it's also some poor imitation with a few fish goujons and thin-cut chips. No wonder people think we have bad food!". A specific concern for many is the butter packet, which seems to have been deposited randomly into the centre of the plate, to settle on whichever greasy breakfast element it happens to choose. "I'd be mildly frustrated trying to open the greasy/bean juice-covered butter packet," one person noted. Another asked: "Why is the butter just wazzed in the middle of the plate?" A significant source of controversy centres around the croissant, which has left numerous people baffled about why it's included and whether it complements the traditional British items alongside it on the plate. Article continues below "Personally, it looks great to me. You have a free croissant to pick up and throw at your server and then a full English to take with you when they kick you out," a commenter joked.
