Pop singer Louise Redknapp took to social media over the weekend to pay an emotional tribute to her eldest son - and shared her shock over the fact he is now a 21-year-old man
Louise Redknapp is in disbelief at the fact she is the mother of a 21-year-old son. The 50-year-old pop singer is a proud mum-of-two, sharing sons Charley and Beau with ex-husband Jamie Redknapp, 52.

The former Eternal singer often features video clips and snaps of her family life online, and on Sunday she shone a spotlight on her eldest son as he reached a landmark year in age. Taking to Instagram, the Light of My Life singer shared a carousel of content about her son.

She uploaded photos of her son from the days he was a baby through to his time now as a young man. She featured in some of the images herself - with the cover image showing her and Charley smiling as they posed side-by-side together.

The final slide showed Louise and family members raising a glass to cheers Charley - who towered over most of them. She wrote in an accompanying caption: "How did this happen?! my baby is 21 years old today!!!"
In a gushing tribute, she continued: "Chaz I am so proud of you and the charming young man you have become, you've been my partner in crime and shadow since day one and nothing makes me happier than seeing you living your best life.

"You have an incredible future ahead of you keep on working hard and absolutely smashing it. I would however like to request that you now at the age of 21 learn how to wash up, turn the lights off and pick your clothes up off the bedroom floor… but maybe we'll get there for next year."
And she concluded: "Happy Birthday Charley, Have the most amazing day! We love you so much. Love Mum."
Charley's dad Jamie, who was married to Louise from 1998 until 2017, also took to social media to celebrate over the weekend. Sharing a collection of snaps himself, the football legend wrote: "21 today.

"So proud of the man you're becoming and even prouder to call you not just my son, but my mate. Keep putting in the work, your dreams are within reach."
Name checking his other son with Louise, 16-year-old Beau, and three-year-old Raphael who he shares with wife Frida Andersson, 41, Jamie continued: "You're also the best big brother, the way you are with Rapha and Beau melts my heart. Such a great role model, and they're so lucky to have you."

He went on: "Now that you're 21, I'm hoping you'll finally start beating me at golf … but I won't make it easy! Can't wait for a few days on the course together."
And Jamie added: "So excited for everything ahead of you. Love you so much my Charley boy."
Jamie's collection of photos showed him posing alongside his eldest son - while his cover image showed Jamie, Charley and Raphael celebrating with cake together. While other images showed Charley from across the years.
A concluding snap showed Jamie with all three of his sons relaxing in a swimming pool together. Step-mum Frida was among those responding in the comments, writing: "Happy happy Birthday Charley" alongside a string of balloon emojis.

Justin Trudeau feels 'ambushed' after Katy Perry dating rumours as they're spotted together

An insider source has claimed former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau feels 'ambushed' by the public attention he is receiving after going out for dinner with Katy Perry Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau have sparked surprise dating rumours this week after being spotted enjoying an intimate dinner in Montreal, Canada. ‌ The pair, who are both recently single and navigating tumultuous chapters in their respective careers, were seen at the trendy Le Violon restaurant before heading out for cocktails at a nearby terrace bar. At the time sources claimed the pop star and former Canadian prime minister spent several hours together on Monday evening tucking into the chef's tasting menu and appeared "comfortable" and "at ease" with each other. ‌ One insider claimed Trudeau had his arm "practically welded" to Perry's waist, although no photographs have emerged to confirm this. Despite the romantic buzz, insiders say not everything is quite as it appears. According to celebrity publicist Rob Shuter, while Perry "really likes" Trudeau and viewed the dinner as a date, the former PM had a different perspective. It comes after reports Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are set for new 'goldmine' offer - but could face issue. ‌ Katie Price worries fans with appearance in family photo after explaining weight loss Cruz Beckham 'steals' his dad's tiny white trunks and family have epic response ‌ "I've heard [Trudeau] feels a bit ambushed by all this," Shuter told the Daily Mail. "He wanted tickets to her show and she invited him. While that was going on, she invited him for dinner." The meeting came just a month after Perry confirmed her split from long-term partner Orlando Bloom. Meanwhile, Trudeau, 53, has kept a low profile since stepping down as PM earlier this year following a steep fall in popularity and a high-profile divorce from wife Sophie in 2023. Their rumoured romance comes at a time when both public figures could benefit from revamping their image. Toronto-based PR expert Natasha Koifman told CBC News: "I think that was actually probably a strategic move. I think it elevates both of their brands, for very different reasons, to be seen together." ‌ She added that the pair's very public dinner date was a "really great brand and reputational move". Despite the speculation, restaurant staff claimed there was "no PDA" between the pair. However, the duo didn't exactly try to go unnoticed, as they reportedly sat at a window-facing table and even visited the kitchen to thank the chefs. They were also seen walking one of Perry's dogs in a local park earlier that day, and two days later Trudeau was photographed in the audience with his daughter at Perry's Montreal concert. Neither Perry nor Trudeau has commented on the rumours. Meanwhile, Orlando Bloom was recently seen singing and dancing at an Oasis gig in Manchester after his split with Perry, and appeared to have not a care in the world. The actor shared several videos of his time at the concert on Instagram, where he was spotted partying in the VIP section with Liam Gallagher 's sons, Lennon, 25, and Gene, 24. Before the show, the actor posted a video captioned: "Road to Oasis. Could not be more f'in excited." In another clip, he added: "It's gonna be karaoke all night," as he smiled at the camera. He later warned his Instagram followers about the content of his stories, saying: "If you don't like @oasis swipe on – if you wanna see me run through some of my favourite karaoke numbers for laughs here you are lol."

Kelly Osbourne breaks silence after dad Ozzy's funeral in heartfelt tribute

The Black Sabbath legend's death drew condolences from stars like Sir Rod Stewart, Noel Gallagher and Sir Elton John Kelly Osbourne has broken her silence following her dad Ozzy's funeral in a heartfelt tribute to the rock icon online. The 40-year-old daughter of the Black Sabbath legend took to Instagram on Friday, August 1 with a moving post. ‌ Ozzy was laid to rest next to the lake in his Buckinghamshire home on Thursday. The moving funeral service beforehand, on Wednesday, saw 110 of Ozzy's loved ones join his wife Sharon and his children Jack, 39, Kelly, 40, Aimee, 41, and Louis, 50, who is Ozzy's son from his first marriage to Thelma Riley. ‌ Kelly has now posted online for the first time since her father's send-off, sharing a picture of a wreath reading 'Ozzy F***ing Osbourne' placed by the bank of the water. She put no text or caption on the photo, instead leaving it as is. ‌ The 76-year-old, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, a neurodegenerative disorder, in 2019, died on Tuesday, July 22 surrounded by his close family, as they released a statement confirming the singer had passed. Before his death, Kelly had honoured her dad in a string of emotional posts. In one video, the singer could be seen sitting around the kitchen table with family just two days before he passed away. ‌ In another, she shared the lyrics to Changes - the Black Sabbath track that she and Ozzy, who had also battled with chronic nerve pain in the last years of his life, famously re-recorded together in 2003. Thousands of fans also paid tribute at Ozzy's funeral procession through Birmingham on Wednesday. In recent years, Ozzy had spoken openly about his desire to return to the UK, saying he was "desperate to come home." Sharon, wearing Ozzy's ring on a chain around her neck, walked behind his cortege alongside family including Kelly, who wore round sunglasses in a subtle nod to her dad's infamous look. ‌ The hearse carrying his coffin began its route at his former childhood home in Aston, before making its way to the city centre. The procession made a stop at the Black Sabbath Bench and bridge, where fans gathered in the area to pay their final respects. ‌ Fans chanted"Ozzy, Ozzy, Ozzy" as the hearse arrived, and comforted an emotional Sharon as she got out of the funeral car to lay flowers on the bridge. Following the public celebration of his life in Birmingham, a more intimate farewell took place at the family's Buckinghamshire home. Ozzy's final resting place on the grounds of his Buckinghamshire estate was entirely in line with his deeply personal wishes. ‌ Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! An extract from Ozzy's 2009 autobiography, I Am Ozzy, reveals he had long expressed his hopes to Sharon: "I've said to Sharon: 'Don't cremate me, whatever you do?' I want to be put in the ground, in a nice garden somewhere, with a tree planted over my head." He continued: "Don't get me wrong: I don't worry about that kind of heavy-duty stuff on a daily basis. "I've come to believe that everything in life is worked out in advance. So whenever bad s**t happens, there ain't nothing you can do about it. You've just gotta ride it out. And eventually death will come, like it comes to everyone."
