Ravi Kishan developed obnoxious attitude after stardom, says his ego was beaten out of him after father and brothers' deaths: ‘Tevar chala gaya'
In a chat with Raj Shamani, Ravi shared, 'I had gone a little crazy. All my films were silver jubilees. Films are now in cinemas for a couple of weeks, but back then, all my films would be in theaters for 25 weeks. So one is bound to go a little crazy.' He added, 'Humko lagta tha kaat le kisiko.' Ravi shared that he had achieved this after a lot of struggle but his wife sensed that he was going overboard. 'And at that time, my wife sent me to Bigg Boss for 3 months and locked me in.'
When asked what humbled him afterwards, Ravi shared, 'I encountered a lot of obstacles in life. My father died. Two of my older brothers died at a young age. All of my attitude, my ego went away after that.' He shared in Hindi, 'Papa chale gaye, tevar chala gaya (My father died, and my attitude went away with him.). He was my pride, my pride went away.'

In the same chat, Ravi was asked about his biggest insecurity and he spoke about the fear of losing his wife Preeti. 'I love my wife, Preeti. I just pray to god that she must never fall ill. I don't want to watch her get old but I know she will get old. I know one day she will die. Either she will die first or I will, I know that too. I know that this will all happen,' he shared.
He said that when he finds himself in the middle of some obstacle or controversy, his first call is to his wife. Calling his family his 'strength,' Ravi shared that they are his sounding board when it comes to his career in cinema, his appearances or whatever other problems he might encounter. 'My four kids, my wife and me – these are my protectors. I just listen to their voices and make all of my own decisions because these kinds of controversies will keep happening. You can't do much about it,' he said.

Box Office: Mahavatar Narsimha surprises on day one in Hindi; Animated film nets Rs 1.10 crore
Mahavatar Narsimha, directed by Ashwin Kumar and produced by Hombale Films, has surprised one and all at the Hindi box office. The dubbed animated movie from the south of India, has made its presence amply felt in the Hindi belt if the day 1 collections are anything to go by. The movie based on the 4th avatar of Lord Vishnu has opened to a pleasant Rs 1.10 crore net in Hindi for the opening day, and this is with low-lying promotions. Mahavatar Narsimha Has Opened Well In Hindi Despite Strong Holdover Competition Mahavatar Narsimha is obviously doing well in its home market, but for it to make in-grounds in Hindi with minimal promotions, and purely on the basis of the film's units is commendable. One must not forget that a blockbuster movie like Saiyaara is already retaining the lion share of screens and then there also is the Hollywood biggie The Fantastic Four: First Steps, with its share of premium screens. The Day Wise Hindi Net India Collections Of Mahavatar Narsimha Are As Under If Mahavatar Narsimha's Weekend Momentum Transcends Into The Weekdays, A Major Success Is On The Cards For Hombale Films The advance bookings for the movie are very strong and so is the initial reception. If the momentum of the movie transcends to the weekdays, a theatrical hit shall be in contention; a rarity in today's time. It is even more rare for an animated movie to emerge a hit in India because animated films are seen as something just for the kids, by most. The highest grossing animated movie in India has a net lifetime total of under Rs 50 crore. The twin Lion King movies have not been considered because they look and feel like live-action films. On the other hand, the same animated movies wreck the box office in US/Canada with a few of them going on to even hit USD 600 million; something that only a handful of movies have really been able to manage. Recently, even China showed the potential of an appreciated animated flick. Ne Zha 2 grossed around 2 billion dollars in just the Middle Kingdom, proving that the 'taboo' is only in India. Can Mahavatar Narsimha Make Animation Be Seen As A Serious Business In India? One would hope that films like Mahavatar Narsimha make animation be looked at as a serious business in India. If this movie manages to breakout, the potential of the Mahavatar Universe will increase many folds. Mahavatar Narsimha In Theatres

Gaurav Taneja implies Bigg Boss is using his name for publicity, but doesn't want to diss show: ‘What if I'm desperate like Ranvir Shorey one day?'
Popular YouTuber Gaurav Taneja, famously known as Flying Beast, was rumoured to be joining Bigg Boss 19 as one of its contestants. However, this is not the truth. The YouTuber shared he has been approached by the makers of the reality show several times, but things didn't work out between them. In a new vlog, he said that he won't be seen on the show this season. Gaurav shared, 'Arey bhai I am not going to Bigg Boss 19. Main Pareshaan hogaya hu. Some random PR page put up my photo along with a few others claiming we are taking part in the upcoming season. That's not true.' He added, 'Bigg Boss first approached me before COVID-19 when I did FitMuscleTV. Ritu and I were approached again when they had couples special season. I told them I was busy at that time. You won't see me on the show this season. However, I have had several meetings with the makers in the past five years, but things couldn't work out between us. My daily routine is very packed, and I don't think I can follow it on the show.' Elaborating further about his decision, he said, 'I don't want to be part of a show where the editing is not in my control. Where someone else decides your image. I don't want to take that risk in my life.' He added, 'If you ever find me on one of those shows, where I have risked my image and reputation, just know I have been paid extremely well. I don't really want to be part of such shows, but if someone offers a great deal, then maybe I will reconsider.' Gaurav then justified the reason behind his diplomatic approach towards the show. 'The fact is, you can never make tall claims like you will never appear on Bigg Boss. Who knows, one day, the situation pushes you to join the show. I can't troll anyone. What if circumstances bring you to work with them one day? If you want to survive in this world, you should avoid making statements on social media.' You should not pull people down on your good days, what if tumhara bura time aajaye?' In the same vlog, he claimed that his name was being used to create buzz and hype around the show. He shared an example from his time on Shark Tank. He said, 'I went to Shark Tank. They have a marketing team, who approached us and aligned interviews. They don't directly market it, but do dealings with websites and influencers to create a buzz around their show. They have certain budget for it which is divided between pre show, during the show, and post show.' 'Bigg Boss used a similar strategy to create buzz around their show. Good marketing move. By using my name, they created a hype for Bigg Boss 19. I wish all the best to all the participants.' He further admitted that he loves to watch people fight on the show. 'I love watching them fight. Kalesh dekhne mein jo maza hai woh sci fi movie mein bhi nahi.' He claimed, 'People on the show know their job is to bring TRP. They are all friends, but they have to bring drama to boost TRP. I know this because I have been a part of a television show' He added, 'I don't think I can fight with anyone, not in personal life neither on camera. I don't want to abuse anyone. Chahe nakli hi kyu nahi, I don't want to abuse.'
