I sparred Tyson Fury, Derek Chisora & Filip Hrgovic… no one hit as hard as Daniel Dubois, his jab felt like right hand

JOHNNY FISHER has shared the ring with the heavyweight division's hardest-hitters - but none were as powerful as Dynamite Daniel Dubois.
Fisher had just ten amateur bouts before turning professional in 2021 - instead learning his craft in the gym.

Fisher has also sparred Tyson Fury
That included valuable sparring rounds with the likes of Tyson Fury and Joe Joyce.
But Fisher - a guest on SunSport's No Glove Lost previewing Dubois' rematch against Oleksandr Usyk - said no one could match the power of Britain's IBF heavyweight champion.
Recalling the spars, he said: "Hardest I've ever been punched, by far. His jab is like a right hand!
"And it's only sparring as well, so you've got the 20oz gloves on and you can see how he can puts people's lights out with the 10oz gloves on."

GETTING THE DUB Daniel Dubois must be a 'crazy DEMON' to beat Oleksandr Usyk, warns Chisora
Fisher, 26, first sparred Dubois, 27, in 2021 and most recently two years ago.
At the time, Dubois had been stopped by Joyce and Usyk leaving his career in question.
But Fisher helped the Londoner before his December 2023 bout against Jarrell Miller - which proved a coming-of-age moment.
Dubois won in the tenth and final round, later going on to stop Hrgovic and Anthony Joshua in character-building victories.

Fisher said: "Me and Daniel got on. He doesn't say much, he's quite a quiet character.
"But you have seen the development over the three or four years that I've known him and I think it's for the better.
He is fighting a guy who is crazy! Chisora | No Glove Lost: Usyk vs Dubois 2 fight preview - The Sun Sport
"He's expressing himself for, I like the cheeky comedic things you're seeing at the press conferences, his personality is coming out and I think it's important for a fighter to express themselves and do that no matter what their personality is.
"The freer you are, the more damage you can do and I think we've seen that with Daniel. Even the way his boxing skills have developed, moving off the line a bit.
"The way he came through that Jarrell Miller fight that was a defining moment for him. There was a lot of pressure on him, he was a big 25 or 26 stone man in front of him and he's come through adversity.
"I've seen good development boxing-wise and personality and I think they marry up quite well."
Usyk has already done the double over AJ and Fury with a pair of points wins - in between his ninth-round stoppage over Dubois.

Johnny Fisher on sparring Daniel Dubois
But it was Chisora - who joined Fisher on our panel - who pushed the two-weight undisputed king the most in 2020.
And Fisher urged Dubois to replicate those same roughhouse tactics when he rematches Usyk on Saturday at Wembley for all four belts.
He said: "Out of everyone I've sparred, I've sparred Derek, I've sparred Filip Hrgovic, I've sparred Fury, he wants to dismantle you the most out of anyone.
"Some people spar for tech or spar to work on certain thing, he's trying to take you out. And I think that's his strength.
"His strength is the ability to come forward, the punch power, the physical nature in the clinch. And you can negate that.
"We saw in the first fight, yes it was a low-blow but somehow, it's very hard to do it and Derek's probably the best example of someone doing it, but roughhouse him.
"Get in close, not thinking about where you're hitting just going in there, biting down on the gumshield and that takes mental strength. That's a bit more valuable than talent is."

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) LENNOX LEWIS and Oleksandr Usyk are in agreement over who will be the heavyweight division's next world champion. Usyk became the first undisputed king in the blue riband division since Lewis when he defeated Tyson Fury to win all four belts in May. The question remains who will surpass Usyk when the two-weight and three-time undisputed champ retires. But the man himself told talkSPORT: "Moses Itauma, I think is a great fighter. Young. 20 years old. I think Itauma has a big future." Itauma - still only 20 - is 12-0 with ten of his wins coming by KO. Lewis Hamilton makes amends for disastrous F1 Belgian GP weekend as Lando Norris loses ground after 80 MINUTE delay
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) OSCAR PIASTRI rained on Lando Norris' parade to win a sodden Belgian Grand Prix. The fearless Aussie driver left pole-sitter Norris for dust after just one lap to take the lead and see out a largely uneventful race in Spa. Charles Leclerc sealed the third and final podium spot today after a fierce battle with Max Verstappen, who had to settle for fourth, while George Russell came in fifth. Lewis Hamilton put in an absolute shift to finish in seventh from 18th after starting in the pit lane due to taking on a new power unit in his Ferrari. The race was delayed by a whopping one hour and 20 minutes after Spa was hit with its usual downpour, that even KO'd the race in 2021. After four laps it was a rolling start which got things underway as Norris held onto the lead with teammate Piastri snapping at his heels. The ruthless Aussie nearly smashed into the back of Norris on lap five but missed by a whisker before nipping past him to take the lead. Ferrari's Hamilton made a huge statement after what he described as a 'weekend to forget', charging into 13th from 18th after a blistering opening ten laps, before becoming the first driver to gamble on slick tyres on lap 12 - a decision which rewarded him with a big jump up the order to P8. BEST ONLINE CASINOS - TOP SITES IN THE UK Meanwhile, Verstappen was in hot pursuit of Monegasque driver Leclerc in the battle for third and nearly nudged ahead. Race leader Piastri, Leclerc and Verstappen all pitted though as Norris momentarily regained the lead. Nico Rosberg in frosty exchange with Jos Verstappen over Christian Horner after Red Bull sacking The Brit stuffed up his pit stop though and lost a huge chunk of time staying out an extra lap as Piastri pulled clear. Seven-time world champion Hamilton worked tooth and nail and was running in seventh, right behind Alex Albon, halfway through the race. There was a tyre conundrum between the two McLarens as the race progressed, with Piastri asked to make a call on whether to make another pit stop or try to see it out until the end. The 24-year-old was on the medium tyres while Norris was on the more robust hard tyre and 15 laps, as dreary as talking about tyres, followed. Norris was the culprit of a silly mistake as he locked up at Turn 1 and lost more than half a second and it looked like game over to catch up with Piastri. The 25-year-old had other ideas though and was closing the gap into the dying laps, with five seconds separating them at the end. Piastri said on team radio after: "Nicely f***ing done" Meanwhile, Hamilton added over the team radio. "Sorry about this weekend and losing you points"
