The incident occurred on easyJet flight EZY6607, which landed at Tenerife South Airport from Birmingham.
Air traffic control is said to have given priority to the aircraft's approach to facilitate a faster arrival at the airport.
The flight to Tenerife was met by police and medical teams once it landed.
It all started in the final leg of the journey when the passenger allegedly urinated in the aisle, causing chaos in the flight mid-air.
No further information has been released regarding the passenger's condition - and what happened in the aftermath.
Meanwhile, coordination took place with airport staff to prepare for the necessary interventions as soon as the plane touched down.
Local newspaper Canarian Weekly said: "The crew alerted authorities mid-flight about a passenger causing significant disturbance, prompting them to request police presence and medical support upon landing.
"In response to the call, air traffic control gave priority to the aircraft's approach to ensure a swifter arrival at Tenerife South."
Meanwhile, another easyJet flight was forced to make an emergency landing after passengers reportedly smelled smoke on board.
The plane was heading to Bristol Airport but had to be suddenly diverted to Turkey.

EasyJet confirmed the crew had encountered a technical issue during the flight which caused a "smoke smell".
The Airbus A320 aircraft had left Paphos and was crusing at around 36,000ft when a smoke alarm went off.
The pilot was forced to make an emergency landing and head to an airport in Izmir just an hour and 20 minutes after it left Cyprus.
A statement from easyJet read: "We can confirm that flight EZY2902 from Paphos to Bristol diverted to Izmir due to a technical issue which resulted in a smoke smell onboard."
It comes after a vile passenger who threatened EasyJet staff was slapped in the face by an airport worker.
Video taken at Manchester Airport captured a man with a cap shouting homophobic slurs and abusing staff members at the entry to the aircraft.
It is understood that he was denied boarding for being "disruptive and aggressive" which triggered the chaotic scenes.
The shocking confrontation saw the Easyjet flight from Manchester to Chania, Greece, delayed from taking off.
The man, who has not yet been identified and wore a grey jacket, shouted abuse at Easyjet employees, including homophobic slurs.
"You're a ripoff artist, you're a f***** - I'll knock your f***ing hat off", the man threatened as a flight attendant was seen trying to calm him down.
The irate man threatened another attendant with a "f***ing scrap" after being denied entry.
The video then cuts to a further confrontation with airport staff as the man gets more and more aggressive.
It is then that an airport worker in a hi-vis vest swings at his face with what appears to be a slap.

Horror moment American Airlines plane bursts into flames as passengers flee
Passengers abandoned the American Airlines plane via an inflatable emergency slide amid chaotic scenes at Denver International Airport, with some needing hospital treatment This is the horrifying moment an American Airlines plane burst into flames as passengers fled the aircraft. At least one person is understood to have been injured when a plane was forced to abort its take-off from Denver Airport, in Colorado, due to landing gear failure. Passengers fled the smoking aircraft with an inflatable emergency slide being deployed in the chaotic scenes on Saturday. Video showed passengers frantically sliding down as thick black smoke billowed from the back left side of the plane. The Denver Fire Department said in a social media post at 5:10pm local time that it had extinguished the fire. American Airlines Flight 3023 reported a landing gear incident as it took off for Miami at about 2:45pm, the Federal Aviation Administration said. According to 9News, an air traffic controller could be heard telling the pilot in cockpit audio: "Flight 3023, you got a lot of smoke. The airline added all 173 passengers and six crew members were safely evacuated from the plane. Six people were checked for minor injuries with one being transported to a local hospital after getting off the plane. "All customers and crew deplaned safely, and the aircraft was taken out of service to be inspected by our maintenance team," an American Airlines spokesperson said. "We thank our team members for their professionalism and apologize to our customers for their experience." Denver International Airport said: "This afternoon, DEN First Responders and the Denver Fire Department responded to a reported issue with an American Airlines flight (AA3023, DEN-MIA) on a runway. Those on board are now off the aircraft." In another post, it added: "Update: Five people were evaluated on scene and not transported. One person was evaluated at a gate and was transported." It comes after an easyJet flight leaving Gatwick Airport was forced to divert back to the airport after take off yesterday. Shortly before 4.30pm an easyJet flight bound for Bastia, on the French island of Corsica was forced to return to Gatwick, a spokesperson for the airport confirmed. An easyJet spokesperson said: "easyJet can confirm that flight EZY8461 from Gatwick to Bastia today (26 July) returned to Gatwick and requested a priority landing on arrival into London Gatwick due to a technical issue. The aircraft landed normally and was met by emergency services purely as a precautionary measure in line with procedures, and all passengers disembarked normally. "A replacement aircraft and crew has been arranged for passengers to continue their journey to Bastia today. The safety of our customers and crew is easyJet's highest priority and easyJet operates its fleet of aircraft in strict compliance with all manufacturers' guidelines.'

A packed flight was due to board a bus to their plane when the female passenger was stopped in the queue. Nikolay Stefanov, a witness to the shocking ordeal, said the woman was told she had to pay for extra baggage because her luggage didn't fit in the holdall. The woman refused to pay as she explained her bag could in fact fit. Footage shows her trying to force her bag into the luggage rack by slamming it in. The bag does eventually fit but the staff still refuse to let her board. She then breaks down in tears as she pleads with a member of the border police and takes a video of the bag which is now wedged inside the rack. Dozens of the passengers were seen watching on from behind a glass door which was all that separated them from the weeping woman. Determined to board, she then starts to bang on the door and ask for help as Nikolay films the sad ordeal. More staff quickly surround the woman as her begging grows louder. Moment Brit woman is dragged off Ryanair flight & thrown to floor after 'assaulting passengers and making bomb threat' At one point she even drops to her knees before placing her hand on the door as tears roll down her face. Nikolay said the whole situation "escalated quickly". He added: "She was pleading with us not to leave, but we were threatened that the entire flight would be cancelled if we didn't get on the bus, so passengers became frightened and left." Nikolay said many onlookers were also shocked by how the staff treated her with next to no compassion. It has also been claimed that another passenger stood behind the woman in line was removed from the flight. A Ryanair staff member allegedly said that they couldn't let him on because "reopening the gate risked the woman trying to get on the bus". The viral footage soon caught the eye of Bulgaria's parliament. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Grozdan Karadjov has reportedly ordered an inspection of the airport's security cameras. Mr Karadjov is even said to have described the behaviour of employees in the video as "outrageous", reports. He has assured people that the main ground operator will be found and given the "highest fine" and a verbal warning. In response, Goldair Handling Bulgaria insisted their employees acted "professionally and without any physical contact with the passenger". The handling company released a statement to BNT News that read: "All rules regarding passengers' baggage, its permissible size and the fees payable for baggage are determined solely, entirely and unilaterally by the airlines. "Goldair Handling Bulgaria OOD is solely obliged to monitor compliance with these rules by the airlines. "This also applies to hand luggage, as Goldair Handling Bulgaria OOD is obliged to monitor the dimensions of this baggage and collect excess baggage fees. "[Staff] acted professionally and without any physical contact with the passenger." It comes as Ryanair's CEO is considering increasing bonuses paid to staff for spotting oversized luggage. The budget airline currently pays staff approximately €1.50 (£1.30) for stopping passengers with oversized bags from boarding the aircraft. Currently, staff bonuses for doing this are capped at €80 (£70) a month. Passengers who are unlucky enough to get caught out by the airline's staff are charged a fee of up to €75 (£65) for bringing luggage that is larger than they paid for while booking their journey. 6 The passenger was left hitting the door where the other passengers were waiting to board Credit: Facebook/Nikolay Stefanov
