Jenson, who was head boy at his school, died alongside Taekwondo world champion Simon Evans, 18, and restaurant worker Jacob Holman, 17. The fourth occupant of the car, George Taylor, 17, suffered life-changing injuries, but survived the smash, which occurred at around 11.15pm on March 14 this year.
An inquest heard Jenson had passed his driving test just the day before the crash and the group met up with eight other friends to "go for a drive". Friends said Jenson had turned off the traction control in his car, so he could 'wheelspin' away from the other two cars, a Vauxhall Corsa and VW Golf.
They told investigating officers they thought Jenson was exceeding the national speed limit of 60mph and travelling at around '90-95mph' as he sped off. Assistant Coroner for Shropshire Heath Westerman said Offoxey Road was described by forensic officers as in a 'state of disrepair' with numerous potholes and bumps.

Investigators believe the car had hit a bump in the road, causing the vehicle to hit the nearside verge, which threw the car into a hedgerow and finally into a tree. Following the crash, the two cars following the Audi stopped and the eight occupants did what they could to offer life-saving help to their four friends.
But Jenson and Jacob both died in hospital on the following days from 'non-survivable head injuries'. Simon died instantly from 'multiple traumatic injuries" having been ejected from the car.
The three dead boys were all wearing their seatbelts, the hearing at Shrewsbury Guildhall was told. Mr Westerman said Jenson's Audi, a 1.4l hatchback with 123bhp, had an MOT, was taxed, had valid insurance and was found to have had 'no mechanical defects' at the time of the crash.

He said: 'On the evidence I have heard, I am satisfied Bridges was not racing another vehicle and had not met up with friends and acquaintances with an intention to race. He was a newly qualified driver who was excited to be on the road but lacked the experience to know how a car handles with three passengers in it at speed over a bumpy road.
'I find that at a junction before the accident, he turned off the traction control. While it is not possible to calculate how fast the car was travelling, I find he was driving at excessive speeds.
'Having driven at excessive speeds down Offoxey Road with three passengers, he was unable to control the car as it negotiated a ditch. It then clipped the off-side grass verge, collided with hedgerow and then a tree.

He added: 'The collision was caused by the naïve actions of a young, inexperienced and newly qualified driver.'
Following the tragedy, devastated family members paid tribute to all three boys.
Jacob, of Codsall, Staffordshire, was described as 'funny, loving and caring' while Simon, of Perton, Staffordshire., was hailed a "loving and kind gentleman" who "always had a smile on his face".
Sports-mad Jenson, of Brewood, Staffordshire, had the "purest heart, who loved life and lived it to the full", said his family.

'I was sleeping when I heard the sound of a car engine. Within a minute, it drove in our direction, ran over us… and then halted. Moments later, it sped away,' recalled Sabami (45), who works as a labourer. His wife and stepdaughter, and two friends, apart from him, were injured when a white Audi allegedly crashed into a footpath in South Delhi's Vasant Vihar in the early hours on July 9. Allegedly drunk while driving the car, the accused, Utsav Shekhar (40), was arrested soon after the incident. He has been granted bail, police said on Sunday. When the hit-and-run happened, a pedestrian came to their help, said Sabami, and noted down the vehicle's number to report to the police. While Sabami was discharged from the hospital last week, his wife, Ladhi (40), is still admitted to the AIIMS Trauma Centre. Ladhi's daughter from a previous marriage, Bimla (11), and the couple's friends — Narayani (35), and her husband Ram Chander (45) — were among the others injured in the incident. All three have been discharged from the hospital. All of them hail from Ajmer in Rajasthan and came to Delhi 10 years ago, said officers. It would still take Ladhi at least a week to recover, said the family. 'My wife suffered injuries in the neck and back, among other parts of the body. I just turned out to be lucky. If I too had suffered such grave injuries, who would have earned for the family?' he asked. Ratan Lal, 35, Ladhi's brother, who works as a labourer in Gurgaon, said that he got to know about the accident on July 10 and has been at AIIMS since then. 'Ladhi's treatment is still on. I hope that we will get some help with the hospital bill. We don't have much to pay,' he said. The accident took place near a petrol pump in front of Shiva Camp in Vasant Vihar. Around 1.45 am on July 9, a police control room call was made to report a crash in which five people were hit by an Audi car while they were sleeping on the footpath. 'Statements of eyewitnesses were recorded, wherein they stated that a white Audi Car ran over them while they were sleeping on the footpath,' DCP (South West) Amit Goel said. According to the police, Utsav then allegedly went on to hit another truck, about 200 metres from the accident spot, before he was finally arrested by the Delhi Police. The accused, police said, is a property dealer based in Noida and was going towards his home in Dwarka.

New Delhi [India], July 13 (ANI): Thirty-five-year-old Narayani, who was among the five people hospitalised with injuries after being run over by a speeding car in the national capital earlier this week, said she fell unconscious after the horrific incident. 'The car ran over us... Me, my husband and children got injured. I got unconscious after being run over and sustained injuries on the chest and neck... We have been sleeping here (on the footpath) for many years...' she told ANI. Another victim, Ramchander (45), detailed that all five of them were sleeping on a footpath in the Vasant Vihar area when the car, allegedly driven by a drunk driver, ran over them on June 9. 'We were sleeping when the car hit us at around 1 AM... Two people were injured, but then my wife's ear was also injured, and her rib was broken... The police took us to the hospital... There should be action against the driver...' he said. Delhi Police have released a photo of the accused driver, Utsav Shekhar, who was allegedly behind the wheel at the time of the accident. The man has been arrested, Police said.
