The Queens Are Back After Two Long Years
After what felt like an eternity for fans, BLACKPINK finally returned as a complete group, and honestly, it was worth every second of the wait.
The girl group that's basically the blueprint for global K-pop success kicked off their 'DEADLINE' world tour at Goyang Main Stadium on July 5th and 6th - and let's just say, they didn't come to play around.
This wasn't just any regular comeback concert. We're talking about BLACKPINK becoming the first K-pop girl group ever to perform at Goyang Stadium, which is basically like being the first to climb Mount Everest in the K-pop world. The numbers don't lie either - 78,000 fans showed up over two nights, setting a new record for the highest attendance by any K-pop artist. That's more people than some cities have!
Jisoo's Emotional Social Media Post Melts Hearts
Three days after the concert, on July 8th, Jisoo took to social media to share her feelings, and honestly, it hit right in the feels. She posted, "Thank you to all BLINKs and everyone who joined us for the hot start of summer! DEADLINE World Tour Start!! We'll be back!"
But what really got everyone emotional was her special message to fans across the globe. In a heartwarming addition to her post, Jisoo specifically reached out to her fans saying, "To all our precious BLINKs, especially our beautiful fans in India - please look forward to our new song 'Jump'! I hope we can meet you soon in India and share this incredible energy together!"
The photos she shared were pure gold - behind-the-scenes moments, dressing room candids, and those epic stage shots that make you wish you were there.
From her unique strap-detailed mini dress to those sleek stage outfits, Jisoo served looks that would make fashion weeks jealous. But what really stood out was how genuine her smile looked in every single photo - you could literally feel the happiness radiating through the screen.
A Setlist That Had Everyone Losing Their Minds
The concert was basically a greatest hits parade that had fans screaming from start to finish.

They opened with 'Kill This Love' (because of course they did - what a power move), then rolled through 'Pink Venom', 'How You Like That', 'Playing with Fire', and 'Shut Down'. Each song was like a reminder of why BLACKPINK owns the global music scene.
But here's where it gets really exciting - they performed their new song 'Jump' live for the very first time. Imagine being one of those 78,000 people who got to witness history in the making! The members were heavily involved in everything from stage production to costumes and choreography, which explains why the whole show felt so authentic and polished.
Jisoo's excitement about the new track was infectious, and you could tell she was genuinely thrilled to share it with the world.
The World Tour That's About to Take Over Everything
This Seoul concert was just the beginning of something massive. BLACKPINK is now embarking on a world tour that spans 16 cities across 31 shows. We're talking Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
It's the kind of tour that reminds you why BLACKPINK isn't just a K-pop group - they're a global phenomenon. For fans everywhere, this tour represents everything we love about K-pop's international reach. Just like how Bollywood has gone global, K-pop groups like BLACKPINK are showing that great music transcends borders and languages. The anticipation for potential future dates is already building, with fans worldwide hoping to experience the magic that Seoul witnessed.

BTS and TXT juniors lock August 18 as their debut date: All about BIGHIT MUSIC's upcoming 5-member boy group

BTS label, BIGHIT MUSIC, is finally lifting the curtain on its newest boy group. It marks the label's first group debut since the launch of TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) in 2019. The highly anticipated team is officially set to debut on August 18, 2025. This signals the beginning of a bold new chapter in HYBE 's growing K-pop empire. The upcoming group is not only BIGHIT MUSIC's latest project but also a major move in reimagining how K-pop idols are formed and showcased. Meet the juniors of BTS and TXT: Teen artists with vision The group features five members: Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Keonho. All of them are still in their teenage years. But don't be fooled by their age; each member brings creative experience, artistic independence, and a distinct voice. What sets them apart is their role not just as performers but as full-fledged co-creators. Rather than being assigned fixed positions like rapper or vocalist, the members are encouraged to work beyond traditional roles. They actively collaborate in every aspect of their artistry, from songwriting and composing to choreography and video direction. Not just idols, but 'young creators' BIGHIT MUSIC refers to them as a 'young creator crew,' emphasizing their hands-on involvement across multiple creative fields. Each member will have the freedom to tell their personal stories through lyrics, visuals, and stage performance. Their aim is to resonate with fans not just as entertainers but as relatable individuals and creative thinkers. Their identity as co-creators rather than traditional trainees points to a new mission. They aim to redefine the idol image and push boundaries in how music groups are structured and perceived. Experience behind the scenes with HYBE artists Though this is their first official debut, the members are no strangers to the industry. Martin and James, in particular, have already contributed to works by fellow HYBE artists. Martin has been credited as part of the creative teams behind TXT 's Deja Vu, Miracle, and Beautiful Strangers. He also contributed to ENHYPEN's Outside, LE SSERAFIM's Pierrot, and ILLIT's Magnetic. James has played a significant role in choreography development. He worked on stages like Deja Vu, Tick-Tack, Cherish (My Love), and Magnetic. He also teamed up with Martin on music production tasks. These early contributions reflect the group's deep involvement in the artistic process, setting them apart from most rookie idols.

Jeremy Renner calls ex-wife Sonni Pacheco's accusations ‘clickbait', says they ‘hurt my feelings'

Actor Jeremy Renner opened up about how his divorce and custody battle with ex-wife Sonni Pacheco, as reported by the New York Post. He talked about allegations during their 2019 divorce proceedings that he allegedly threatened to kill her and himself. "Whatever stress I've had in life, I've tried to find a way of laughing through it," said the actor, adding, "And that's where sometimes cynicism comes out you think, 'I'm just going to laugh at this stuff'," according to the New York Post. Renner continued, "Being accused of things you've not done, right? That doesn't feel good to anybody. It certainly doesn't feel good when you're a celebrity and it's known to everybody." Renner later shared that Pacheco's claims were not true. "No, and they happen all the time," he shared. "It's all the salaciousness that happens out there. It's clickbait, and it hurts my feelings, and it dehumanises people," as reported by the New York Post. The Oscar nominee also explained that he ignored the public's reaction when the allegations first emerged. "It doesn't matter to me what people say," the 'Avengers' star shared. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Is it legal? Renner and Pacheco were married for ten months before the model filed for divorce in December 2014. During their subsequent custody battle over daughter Ava, now 12, Pacheco claimed Renner threatened to kill her and once stuck a gun in his mouth and shot into the ceiling while Ava was in her room, according to TMZ. She also reportedly accused Renner of drug use and leaving cocaine on a bathroom counter where Ava could reach, according to the New York Post. However, he denied all of Pacheco's allegations at the time. Pacheco fought for sole custody of Ava, but she and Renner currently have joint custody. "Her mom and I get along very well, and we're in each other's lives," he shared, adding, "It's lovely." Renner also shared that his relationship with his ex-wife is "no one's business." "It's great," he said. "She's got a new baby and she sends me beautiful pictures." Pacheco welcomed her daughter Wylder with hockey player Nate Thompson in March 2023, according to the New York Post.

Hyderabad book clubs: Amid doomscrolls & clicks, bibliophiles keep the paperback alive

Several book clubs in Hyderabad are fostering a reading culture by hosting in-person sessions and online calls By: Noyonica Neyogi HYDERABAD: In an age of digital 'doomscrolling', a few clubs in Hyderabad are bringing together readers to revive the habit of reading while turning solitary activity into a lively, community discourse, reports Noyonica Neyogi. Beyond pages Hyderabad You Can Also Check: Hyderabad AQI | Weather in Hyderabad | Bank Holidays in Hyderabad | Public Holidays in Hyderabad Launched in Sept 2024, the turning point for this group came when its founders realised their online community was growing, but in the wrong direction. 'There were many people, but nobody was actually reading anymore, just talking. It wasn't why we started, so we moved offline to keep the focus on books,' said Anirudh Kasibhatla, who co-founded it with Harsha Kandru. Since last Sept, members have been gathering every Sunday morning at KBR Park for in-person reading sessions. For Sai Tejaswi, who recently joined this 23-member string club, it was a gentle nudge back to the habit she'd abandoned. 'I've been reading since childhood, though life's breaks took me away. Here I found a group that welcomes you back without judgment,' said the MBA graduate. Others, like Bhavareju Rutwika, rise early each Sunday just to make it to the park. 'It is a weekly reset. With the peacocks calling, and the cool breeze, I recharge myself for the week ahead.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like American Investor Warren Buffett Recommends: 5 Books For Turning Your Life Around Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo The lit people Six months ago, two women, Unnati Ved and Kalpana Sinha, launched this initiative that reimagined what a book club could be. 'It started when we realised Hyderabad needed a new kind of reading culture; one that didn't stop at skimming or shelving a book,' shared Unnati. 'We wanted a structured forum where every meeting felt like an experience, and not just another casual chat about characters and themes.' The club convenes every third Saturday, with the discussion centred around a single book, carefully curated by the founders, often paired with delightful activities. What started with just a few members has now grown into a family of over fifty. 'We plan on inviting a grief counsellor for this month's session to discuss the overarching theme of 'healing' in the 'Tomb of Sand'. It will be quite different from previous gatherings; like when we organised a scavenger hunt based on the 'Honjin Murders',' added Unnati. Long-time member AsiyaShervani, an independent consultant, said: 'Clubs like this are keeping the reading habit alive.' Sanjay Anand, a retired professional and member, said habit hasn't waned, only the medium has changed: 'I don't believe the younger generation has stopped reading. They have just moved from paperbacks to Kindles and other digital formats.' Communitie Hyderabad Founders Sanjana Datla and Shreya Pamulapati have embraced both online and offline models. Since April 2024, the club has been running 'silent-reading' video calls every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On these days, members join hourlong sessions with their microphones muted and videos on. 'Sessions like these help many readers stay accountable and build a consistent reading habit,' said Sanjana. On Saturdays, members meet to discuss their reads. 'Recently, we toured the Qutb Shahi tombs with a guide to tie Hyderabad's history to our book,' she added. In May, 'Communitie Hyderabad' joined other groups for 'Cover-to-Cover,' a literary fest, to bring Telugu and other vernacular authors into the spotlight.
