Sharing the pictures, Upasana wrote, 'A year ago, she was just a tiny cub. Today, she's a playful tigress and shares her name with our KlinKaara. Thank you to the Hyderabad Zoo for this lovely gesture. We believe wildlife belongs in the wild, but also support efforts that honour their lives with dignity and care. Here's to growing up with kindness, courage, and compassion.'
Ram's Magadheera co-star Kajal Aggarwal commented under the post, 'Sweetest. Happiest birthday to your lovely little cub.' Numerous fans also left birthday wishes for the little one in the comments section.
For the unversed, Ram and Upasana were friends for years before they dated and got engaged in 2011. They married in 2012 in Hyderabad in a close-knit wedding. Their first child, Kaara, was born in 2023.
Ram was last seen in Shankar's Game Changer, which was released in January this year. The film failed to live up to expectations, despite Ram getting appreciation for his role as Appanna. He is now shooting for Buchi Babu Sana's Peddi, a sports drama that sees him in a rustic role. He has also said yes to a film by Sukumar, his second with him after Rangasthalam.

Vishwambhara glimpse: Chiranjeevi holds disembodied eye, slashes through enemies. Watch

Vishwambhara glimpse: Ahead of Chiranjeevi's birthday on 22 August, a special glimpse from his upcoming film Vishwambhara was released on Thursday. The socio-fantasy directed by Vassishta seems to see him as a larger-than-life character whose lore is being told to a little girl. Vishwambhara glimpse: Chiranjeevi seems to play a larger-than-life character in Vassishta's film. Vishwambhara glimpse The 'mega blast glimpse' begins with a little girl asking someone to tell her the truth about what happened in Vishwambhara. We are then shown a child standing atop a massive scorpion. She is told the story of a war that begins due to the greed of a man who reigns in endless chaos. Just when people are tired of hoping, a hero rises to save the day. When the child asks whom they are talking about, Chiranjeevi is shown as the hero, slashing through enemies with ease. The glimpse ends with him holding a disembodied eye with a life of its own in his hand, hinting that he pulled it off something or someone. About Vishwambhara Vishwambhara is a socio-fantasy film that stars Chiranjeevi, Trisha Krishnan, Kunal Kapoor, and Ashika Ranganath in lead roles. It is directed by Vassishta and produced by UV Creations. The film was supposed to be released for Sankranthi this year after going into production in 2023. However, the release was postponed and the date was handed to Shankar's Ram Charan-starrer Game Changer. When the makers released a teaser for Vishwambhara last year in October, it was criticised for its shoddy VFX and subpar visuals. Things seem to have improved significantly if the new glimpse is anything to go by. In an interview with Gulte in July, Vassishta spoke about Vishwambhara's story and said, 'There are 14 lokalu (worlds), 7 on top and 7 on the bottom. Numerous filmmakers have already explored different worlds in the manner they want. I decided to go a step further. Vishwambhara takes place in the Satya lokam where Lord Brahma resides. We have already seen films where Yama lokam and Svarga lokam are explored. I wanted to do something different.' Vishwambhara will be released in theatres in summer 2026.

Rowdy Rathore 2 Shelved? Akshay Kumar–Sonakshi Sinha Sequel Faces Major Roadblock

Rowdy Rathore 2 shelved? Reports claim the Akshay Kumar–Sonakshi Sinha sequel has been dropped after Disney India's hesitation. Back in 2012, Akshay Kumar stormed the big screen with his larger-than-life cop avatar in Rowdy Rathore, delivering the now-iconic line, 'Don't angry me!" The film, also starring Sonakshi Sinha, quickly cemented itself as one of Bollywood's most entertaining mass entertainers of the decade. Naturally, when reports of a sequel surfaced, fans were thrilled at the prospect of revisiting the action-packed universe. However, it now seems that the much-anticipated Rowdy Rathore 2 has been shelved for good. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, producers Shabinaa Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who had been working on the sequel for nearly three years, have decided to drop the project altogether. The roadblock reportedly came from Disney India, which holds partial intellectual property rights to the original film, and has been hesitant to commit to the sequel. The script for Rowdy Rathore 2 was penned by veteran screenwriter V. Vijayendra Prasad, known for his blockbuster work in films like Baahubali and RRR. However, instead of being scrapped entirely, the makers are now reworking the script into a fresh standalone cop drama—one that carries the same mass appeal and high-octane energy but without the Rowdy Rathore brand name. Industry sources suggest that the new project will be directed by acclaimed Tamil filmmaker P.S. Mithran, best known for Irumbu Thirai, Hero, and Sardar. The film is expected to go on floors in early 2026, with casting currently underway. Interestingly, actor Sidharth Malhotra, who was earlier being considered for the lead in the sequel, is no longer attached. The team is reportedly scouting for a younger star to embody the role of a fearless, larger-than-life police officer. For the uninitiated, Rowdy Rathore itself was a Hindi remake of the 2006 Telugu hit Vikramarkudu, directed by S.S. Rajamouli. In the Bollywood version, helmed by Prabhu Deva, Akshay Kumar played a double role—honest cop ASP Vikram Rathore IPS and small-time conman Shiva—while Sonakshi Sinha played Shiva's love interest, Paro. The film's masala mix of action, comedy, and romance turned it into a box-office juggernaut. With Rowdy Rathore 2 officially shelved, fans are left wondering if this marks the end of the franchise—or simply the beginning of a reimagined cop saga. Until an official announcement comes through, the future of this once-celebrated action universe remains uncertain. First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
