Bride and Groom Serve 18 Cakes at Wedding, All Made by ‘Important' Women in Their Lives

Impressively, each one of the cakes was a different flavorNEED TO KNOW Camille and Nathan Riffell asked all of the "important women" in their lives to make a cake for their wedding in Kentucky, on June 28 There were 18 cakes total, all featuring different flavors "We ended up with such a sweet and diverse selection," the bride wrote on InstagramA bride and groom's unique — and delicious — wedding idea has gone viral on social media. Camille and Nathan Riffell got married in an elegant outdoor wedding ceremony at Warrenwood Manor in Danville, Kentucky, on Saturday, June 28. But the real excitement happened inside the barn, where 18 wedding cakes were waiting to be served. The couple's wedding photographer, Abby Szydlik, posted a video of all the cakes on display at the wedding reception on TikTok on Monday, July 7. "Wedding Idea: 18 cakes all made by important women in the bride & groom's lives! Such a fun & tasty experience for your guests!" she wrote in an onscreen text overlay. She added in the caption: "So many fun flavors & such a sweet experience for the guests! The ladies that made the cakes were all SO excited to see them on display too!" From "sunshine cake," a pineapple infused cake with mandarin oranges, to blueberry lemon cake with cream cheese frosting, the cakes came in a variety of flavors, shapes and colors. There were several variations of chocolate cake, including plain chocolate, coffee chocolate mascarpone, and chocolate mocha. Other flavors were: red velvet, strawberry, lemon, lavender carrot, white chocolate raspberry, raspberry almond coconut, peanut butter and angel food cake. Two women even brought cheesecakes, with one being colored mint green. The bride explained on Instagram that she and the groom gave their loved ones free rein when it came to choosing what kind of cake to make. "We decided to ask important women in our life to contribute by making any flavor cake they wanted, we ended up with such a sweet and diverse selection!" Camille wrote. Everyone appeared to thoroughly enjoy the diverse selection, as there was barely any cake left by the end of the night. Camille and Nathan also had a small, two-tiered traditional wedding cake with a topper that read "The Riffells" in cursive. "This is the kind of idea that makes a wedding feel like a family story," gifting company Blaze & Willow commented. "Not just dessert — but a memory from every kitchen that helped shape the couple. Beautiful and deeply personal." "Saving this for my wedding!!(i'm very single)," the official Betty Crocker account joked. After their wedding, the Riffells traveled to France and Spain for their honeymoon. Read the original article on People Solve the daily Crossword

"Our Leaders Are Expected To Set The Standard In Both Conduct And Accountability": The Company That Employs The CEO Who Was Called Out By Coldplay For Allegedly "Having An Affair" Has Issued A Statement

During a "kiss cam" moment at Coldplay's Boston concert this past Wednesday, the camera landed on a couple who had been then suddenly seemed to panic at being put on the screen. And let's just say, the whole situation was very awkward. @jennyquack / Here is the viral clip that has been viewed well over 53 million times. Chris Martin called them out, saying, "Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy." The moment has gone viral, and the pair has been identified as Astronomer's CEO Andy Byron and HR Chief Kristin Cabot. The internet has not held back its opinions on the matter, and now a formal statement by the company has been made. BuzzFeed spoke to Astronomer's Director of Communication Taylor Jones, who confirmed the statement is posted on LinkedIn and X. It reads, "Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability. The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly. Alyssa Stoddard was not at the event and no other employees were in the video. Andy Byron has not put out any statement, reports saying otherwise are all incorrect." And, as expected, people are on the edge of their seats, waiting to see how the company handles this situation. Neither Coldplay, Andy, nor Kristin has publicly addressed the matter. BuzzFeed has been unable to reach Andy Byron directly. And we've also contacted Chris's reps for additional comment, but did not hear back by the time of publication. Meg Stalter's Diet Coke Dress Is A Must-See

This is Meg Stalter. Whether she's creating the most iconic viral videos like 2021's hit "Hi Gay," or starring in the nine-time Emmy-winning show Hacks, Meg is really that girl. If you recently saw her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, which I believe is true performance art, you'd probably think, Wow, that actor is doing too much — and you'd be absolutely right. Currently, Meg is the star of Lena Dunham's Netflix series Too Much, and like my incessant need to force puns into every conversation, it's a show that's so unapologetic it will unite old and new fans of Lena lore from start to finish. HBO's Girls hive, stand up. We are so back. Speaking of unapologetic, Meg's comedic timing isn't something she's only mastered for TV and movies. Her red carpet appearances are something to look at like when she wore a Di Pesta dress with a prom queen sash flaunting that she's the "Best Gay Actor." On July 17, at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards, a bunch of celebrities hit the carpet for Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers's zeigeisty award show, and everybody served up a different tasty dish of slayage. The fourth annual installment of the show, named after Bowen and Matt's podcast Las Culturistas, will be televised for the first time in August. Everybody and their mother were in attendance, including Alison Janney, Alison Brie and Dave Franco, Quinta Brunson, Ana Gasteyer, and Parvati Shallow. And then, there was Meg. She rocked a Diet Coke box bodice with a cute black skirt and a tasteful Diet Coke accessory, and the look will make you giggle, scratch your head, and snap your fingers simultaneously. A fellow writer reminded me that this might be the impact of Lisa Barlow from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, and honestly, I see the vision. When talking to Variety's Marc Malkin, Meg said of her look, "This is not a brand deal, by the way. I'm trying to get more work. I'm trying to get a brand deal. It's what all the girls are doing." Meg, I hope you get that brand deal because this ensemble is hilarious and creative. I hope she starts a trend because I would love to see somebody like Sabrina Carpenter dressed as a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. Too Much starring Meg and Will Sharpe is now streaming on Netflix. The Las Culturistas Culture Awards are set to air on Aug. 5, on Bravo from 9-11 p.m. ET, and will be available to stream the next day on Peacock. Do you love all things TV and movies?
