Gates have officially opened and 74,500 fans are pouring into the Principality Stadium to bag a prime spot.
Hundreds of fans from Half the World Away queued hours ahead of the eagerly awaited gig, sporting Oasis themed merchandise including t-shirts and bucket hats.
Bucket-hat-clad concert-goers were spotted dancing and singing with buskers in the Welsh capital as excitement builds ahead of the performance.
Some could be seen holding up banners as they desperately tried to bag remaining tickets to the sell-out gig.
Famous names including actress Vicky McClure and one direction star Louis Tomlinson are in attendance for the performance.
Support act Cast, a Britpop band from Liverpool, kicked the gig off at 6pm with their 1995 hit Sandstorm.
Mid-way through their set, they paid tribute to footballer Diogo Jota who died yesterday.
Singer John Power dedicated their track, Walkaway, to the late Portuguese star.
He said "This is Walkaway. This one is for Diogo Jota. Take it easy brother."
The Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft took to the stage an hour later at 7pm.
He opened with his 1997 hit Sonnet and told the crowd he was "so proud to be here".
Both acts previously shared the stage with Oasis in the 90s.

They are set to be on stage for just over two hours, with a curfew set for 10.30pm.
Buzzing fans took pictures outside the stadium and held up scarves as the excitement continues to build.
Punters have flown in from as far as Argentina and Japan to soak up the atmosphere ahead of tonight's historic gig.
Oasis posted a timelapse video showing the stage being set up inside the stadium on their official social media accounts.
The track F****n' in the Bushes is playing in the background, which is widely expected to play as the band walks onto the stage this evening.
Oasis, who clocked up over 70 million record sales worldwide after forming in Manchester in 1991, split in 2009 following a fall out between brothers Noel and Liam.
Tonight, the brothers will be joined on stage by Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Joey Waronker.
Noel and Liam have kept the set list a total secret, with rumours swirling on the internet about what the brothers will play.

Speaking at the conclusion of the event, Souness added: "How do I feel? I'm knackered! I really am, no amount of training can prepare you for what we just did. "Last time it was tough, but this time was even tougher. The weather was nice though! "I am emotional when I think about why we did this. To support Isla and everyone else living with this horrendous condition." 5 Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page

Rod Stewart says 'we've all noticed' as he addresses 'change' in wife Penny Lancaster

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Sir Rod Stewart said he's noticed a change in his wife, Penny Lancaster, after her career pivot. In 2021, Penny put her glamorous lifestyle to one side to take on duties as a special police constable. The former model has since been on the frontline for significant events such as, the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and the Coronation day of King Charles III. In a candid chat with The Times, Rod, 80, dished out his views on Penny's career transformation. He quipped: "I have noticed she's got more bossy since she's been a copper. The kids have noticed, we've all noticed. She seems to think she knows everything now." (Image: PA) Last year, Penny opened up about Rod and their two teenage sons' initial reaction to her police duties. "When I first told them the idea of joining, they thought I was absolutely mad," she told the same publication last year. "And also, being young lads, my sons didn't think it was cool. But now they're so proud, it's a complete turnaround." Penny believes their minds were swayed once they "heard the stories" of her policing experiences and saw the change in her demeanour. She shared: "To begin with they were like, 'Mum, you've become stricter. I don't like this'. "And even Rod would say, 'You've changed. You're more forceful, you're more this, you're more that'." Despite initial concerns, Penny said Rod has become a big supporter along the way. "He's seen the dedication I have with the force and what it gives me back, as well as what I can give them," she revealed on Loose Women. (Image: GETTY) Penny experienced a hiccup in her role last year when an injury shifted her away from active duties. At the time, she suffered a torn meniscus in her right knee during a trip overseas. More recently, the former model issued an update about her career change-up. Speaking on the We're Not Getting Any Younger podcast last month, Penny opened up about her duties, which has included making arrests. She explained: "I've been doing it for four years now so he's [Rod] kind of got used to it and he's met a lot of my colleagues and he respects the amount of training I've done. "I have [arrested people], two people, for drink driving and drug driving. Every accident you have to test for drink and drugs. It is an adrenaline rush, I wasn't arresting on live TV." Don't miss Penny on Tipping Point: Lucky Stars today at 4.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
