The
999cc inline-four engine
with
BMW ShiftCam Technology
churns out 210 hp at 13,750 rpm, with a redline reaching 14,600 rpm. It features variable intake funnels in the airbox—borrowed from the M RR—for improved charge changes at high RPMs. A short-stroke throttle ensures smooth and responsive control without needing wrist repositioning.

The Ducati Diavel is a power cruiser known for its aggressive styling and performance, and aftermarket parts like CNC Racing rear wheel nuts are available for it. Another major super bike of Harley-Davidson, the 1800 cc was attracted the visitors. Harley is famous for its "big twin" cruiser engines around that displacement. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R, Powered by a colossal 1,441 cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke inline-4 DOHC engine producing approximately 197 hp at 10,000 rpm (ISO), and up to 210 hp with ram-air assistance. Max torque: around 158 Nm @ 7,500 rpm. 14R gives a sports look. Manoj, one of the riders from the biker community , speaking to ANI, emphasised that all bike riders shall prioritise safety as their first concern. "Safety gear is an important part of riding bikes. One should not ride without a helmet and gloves. The ultimate goal for any rider is to ride safely without any hassle. So make sure to follow all the rules applicable as a rider," said Manoj.

BMW Group India has launched the 2 Series Gran Coupe in the Indian market. This is the second generation of the car and will be available with only a petrol powertrain. It comes in two variants: the 218 M Sport and the 218 M Sport Pro, priced at Rs 46.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 48.90 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe is based on the UKL2 platform of the brand, which was also used for its predecessor. This means that the vehicle's wheelbase remains at 2,670 mm, and its width at 1,800 mm. It is to be noted that the overall length has been increased by 20 mm, totaling 4,546 mm, while the height has increased by 25 mm to 1,445 mm. This leads to a cargo capacity of 430 liters. Beyond its dimensions, the design has received some changes. The car now features a more aggressive appearance, accentuated by adaptive LED headlights and a backlit grille. With the M Sport package, the vehicle displays a sporty bumper design along with darker accents. This is further complemented by the standard 18-inch alloy wheels. On the inside, the BMW 218 Gran Coupe M Sport features brand's characteristic minimalist style is on full display. A notable element is the curved glass panel that connects the 10.7-inch infotainment screen to the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, which is angled towards the driver for better visibility. These screens operate on BMW's latest OS9 software. The upholstery for seats and doors comes in a consistent dark mocha brown color, although there are multiple upholstery choices available. A panoramic sunroof is included as standard, along with features such as a wireless charger, compatibility for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360-degree camera, a heads-up display with augmented automatic parking features, an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), and a digital key that allows remote control of essential functions like locking/unlocking, pre-cooling the cabin, and accessing the trunk. Initially, the second-generation 2 Series Gran Coupe will only be available in petrol versions. Under the hood resides a 1.5-liter, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that generates 156 hp and 230 Nm of torque, with power transmitted to the front wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. With this power, the vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds, while its top speed is capped at 230 km/h.

In the meantime, the Bavarian automaker has already started accepting pre-bookings for the model. Potential customers can get their bookings through the online portal or at dealerships across the country. Before we get into the details, it's important to note that initially, only the petrol variant called the 218 Gran Coupe will be offered.
