Plus, what we know about the huge mansion and it's renovation FEEL SO CLOSE Calvin Harris forced to take extreme measures at £3.6m Cotswolds mansion after bus passengers could see into bedrooms Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) CALVIN Harris has been forced to take extreme measures at his Cotswolds mansion as he and pregnant wife Vick Hope prepare to move in later this year. The Scottish music sensation, 41, bought his stunning home for £3.6million in 2019, but has now be forced to make some adjustments to it after bus passengers could see into his bedrooms. 4 Calvin Harris' home has had to have some alterations made to it amid a privacy issue Credit: Getty 4 Calvin is married to Vick Hope Credit: Getty 4 The couple are expecting their first child together Credit: Getty Calvin has knocked down the Cotswolds mansion and has rebuilt it over five years, with it now nearing total completion. But he recently discovered that a bus route goes past his home, which allows people onboard the bus to see in. Because of this, the iconic DJ has had to take a drastic measure. Calvin has had to install one way glass to preserve his privacy and keep his family life out of the public eye. The reflective glass allows him to see out, but no-one to see in. The Daily Mail reports that the new glass was visible this week as scaffolding was removed from the newly-built abode. He has also reportedly bought two neighbouring homes, as per reports. Calvin and Radio 1 presenter Vick Hope are due to move into the newly-built and adapted home later this summer. Architect Ben Pentreath, a favourite of the royals, designed the property which will be completed this year. A source previously told the paper: "There's no expense spared and it's going to be amazing." Pregnant Vick Hope parties at BBC Radio One's Big Weekend after going on maternity leave The happy couple, who tied the knot on their Ibiza farm in 2023, will become parents later this year, it was recently revealed. And the couple's new home, which Calvin purchased in 2019, looks to be the ideal family home. At the end of May, Vick shared the news of her pregnancy live on Radio 1. On air, she told Jamie Laing: "I should probably also say this is my final week before I go on maternity leave." Former Made In Chelsea star Jamie then told her: "You're an amazing friend, an amazing person, and you're just going to be an amazing mum,." She replied: "Oh, thank you." Vick appeared to celebrate her baby shower a couple of weeks ago as she shared a picture playing a baby shower game - during a meal with friends. Calvin and Vick made their first official outing together at The Chelsea Flower Show in May 2022. After just five months together, a huge sparkler was spotted on Vick's finger. They then got married in September 2023 at Hulne Priory, Alnwick, Northumberland.

BBC Breakfast boss takes ‘extended leave' after bullying claims
The editor of BBC Breakfast, Richard Frediani, is taking an extended period of leave after allegations of bullying behaviour. It comes after the Sun and Deadline reported that an internal investigation is being carried out into allegations of bullying at the program. In March, Deadline reported that a minimum of two misconduct complaints had been made against Frediani. One complaint alleged that the editor physically shook a colleague during an interaction in the newsroom in 2024. More recently, Deadline also reported that BBC presenterNaga Munchetty had raised concerns with senior BBC figures regarding Frediani's conduct. In addition, some ITN employees were said to have described Frediani as a 'bully,' alleging that he had shouted at, sworn at, and intimidated colleagues. Sources told the outlet that multiple complaints had been submitted by staff members about his workplace conduct. The publication further reported that newsreader Tina Daheley had expressed reservations about working on News at One, a programme overseen by Frediani. She had originally been named as one of the bulletin's presenters before its relocation from London to Salford in May. Daheley has continued in her role as a newsreader on Radio 2 in London and was reportedly 'understandably very cross' when her photograph was omitted from a BBC press release about the scheduling changes. While the omission added to internal frustration, there is no suggestion that Frediani was responsible for the error. When contacted for comment, a BBC spokesperson told Metro: 'While we do not comment on individual cases, we take all complaints about conduct at work extremely seriously and will not tolerate behaviour that is not in line with our values. 'We have robust processes in place and would encourage any staff with concerns to raise them directly with us so they can be addressed.' It was also previously reported BBC presenters Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt had no relationship with Frediani due to the allegations. Frediani has been named in reports about bullying behaviour at ITN and BBC by Deadline, an industry website, and it was then claimed that he has a soured relationship with the BBC presenters. More Trending A senior BBC figure in Salford has said that he has 'no relationship with the stars'. 'Fredi has no relationship with Charlie and Naga, which is weird when they are half of his frontline presenting roster,' the source told The Times. Frediani has been the head of the program, which is broadcast daily from Salford, since 2019, and is also editor of the News at One. Last month, he accepted a Bafta Award when the show won best TV news coverage for an episode about the Post Office scandal. Got a story? Two UK pennies worth more than £2,600 if they have this tiny mark
These coins are highly sought-after by collectors due to an initial found on one side An expert has urged Brits to look out for two old pennies that could be worth over £2,600 combined. These pre-decimal coins are no longer in circulation but could be hiding away in an attic or coin jar. However, these pieces are only especially valuable if they feature two tiny letters. This mark will make them highly sought-after by collectors. In a video uploaded to social media platform TikTok, an expert known as the Coin Collecting Wizard, said: 'Thousands of pounds if you have either a 1918 or 1919 old UK penny with this mint mark. 'As you will be aware if you follow me, there are many pre-decimal pennies from the UK that have some crazy values, but it all depends on the date.' But you need to check for the initials 'KN' on both coins to be sure they are collectable. 'Today we discuss the 1919 KN penny, KN meaning King's Norton Mint,' he continued. 'Of the two mints, the King's Norton is by far the most difficult to get.' Rather than being produced at the Royal Mint like most coins in the UK, these were created at the King's Norton Mint in Birmingham. At the time this company was contracted to help keep up with demand for coins. The expert gave more details: 'The obverse [head side] shows a portrait of King George the Fifth by Australian sculptor Bertram MacKennal. George the Fifth was king of the United Kingdom and the British dominions and Emperor of India from 6 May 1910 until his death in 1936. 'The reverse [tail side} shows Britannia seated with trident and shield. It is the same as other pennies of that era with the exception of the KN mint mark.' It is the 'KN' mark that sets it apart. This can be spotted just under the shield held by Britannia on the tail side of the coin. However, you will need to look closely as it is very hard to see. If your coin has these letters it could be worth an incredible £2,000 or more. 'If you are lucky enough to find the 1919 KN penny then it may surprise you that this coin can sell for over £2,000 depending on condition,' he said. The expert then showed an image of the 1918 KN penny. He added: 'Now as with a lot of these coins, the value very much depends on the condition of the coin. A good grade 1918 KN penny can be over £30, but as the condition increases, such as an extra fine version, you would be looking at over £600.'
