They transformed him, and he's not pleased.
'Transformers' star Josh Duhamel was surprised to learn that he was used as a plot point on Seth Rogen's AppleTV+ comedy, 'The Studio.'
'There's a whole episode with me being cast as the Kool-Aid Guy,' Duhamel said during a recent appearance on the 'Inside of You' podcast.
Duhamel, 52 added, 'Yeah, it's cool, I love Rogen and all them. But you'd think they would have called me and said like, 'Hey, do you mind if we use your name and likeness for this?' Or at least, 'How do you pronounce your name?' Because they pronounced it wrong.'

The 'Ransom Canyon' actor explained that they pronounced it 'do-HAH-mull.'
Podcast host Michael Rosenbaum speculated that 'they did that as a joke, though.'
Duhamel replied: 'They might have. Maybe.'

In 'The Studio,' which Rogen created and also stars in, he plays Matt, a movie studio exec who must compromise his values in order to succeed in Hollywood.
This involves making a movie based on Kool Aid, to cash in on the 'Barbie' movie trend. He'd rather do more artsy faire, but his boss, Griffin, is demanding a Kool Aid movie.
In the world of the show, they discuss Duhamel in it.
'I don't care,' Duhamel clarified. 'I'm kind of flattered by it.'

In the show, they discuss whether it would be offensive for Ice Cube to play the Kool Aid man. Unlike Duhamel, Ice Cube is in 'The Studio.'
Rogen told People that he was 'petrified' when he approached the actor-rapper to appear on the show. He said his Zoom meeting was 'very reflective of the joke in the show [itself], where I'm trying to not be offensive and I'm trying to explain my creative position.'
In the world of the show, Duhamel's role is recast with Don Cheadle in the role.

Duhamel is best known for action movies like 'Transformers.' In April, he talked about moving away from Hollywood to live in his native North Dakota and filming the Netflix romance cowboys series 'Ransom Canyon.'
Duhamel has two sons: 11-year-old Axl, who he shares with his ex-wife, singer Fergie, 50 (who he was married to from 2009 to 2019) and 1-year-old son Shepherd, who he welcomed with his current wife, former beauty queen Audra Mari, 31. They tied the knot in 2022.
The actor relates to his 'Ransom Canyon' characters' emphasis on family legacy.
'I have done that, with this property that I have back home in North Dakota,' he explained. 'For me, the idea of family is making memories, bringing people together. And, passing it on is really important.'

He described his home as being a cabin in the woods on a lake, '40 miles from anything.'
'It's pretty remote, but it's so peaceful and it's good for the soul,' he told the Post. 'It's a cabin in the woods on a lake, 40 miles from anything. It's pretty remote, but it's so peaceful and it's good for the soul.'
'I just love it out there,' he went on. 'I think there's something about reconnecting to nature and reconnecting the basics…I didn't realize I needed it, until I got out there and started building this place, and shaping it, and figuring out how we wanted to do it. There's always a project … I feel like I have purpose when I'm there.'

Chase Daniel breaks down training camp film of Broncos QB Bo Nix

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix has been honing his craft in preparation for the 2025 NFL season, and the experts are taking notice. Former NFL quarterback Chase Daniel recently attended Broncos training camp alongside The Athletic's Diana Russini, and he was pleasantly surprised with the progress Nix has shown from 2024 to now. "I'm telling you, Bo Nix looks excellent," Daniel said on his YouTube channel. "He's ready to make a huge jump into year two." In his eight-minute assessment of Nix, Daniel complimented Nix's quick footwork, crisp passes on both downfield and intermediate throws and his improved mechanics after working with throwing guru Tom House. For example, at one point while looking at a clip of Nix taking a dropback, Daniels remarked, "That's the quickest five-step drop you could possibly take." As a former quarterback himself, Daniel then took viewers through why he likes what he sees. "I like these type of drills; this is really cool. (It is) a little peek under the hood of how things are made in a perfect throw," said Daniel. Daniel reviewed about 10 throws from Nix, showing how his game has taken a dramatic step forward going into 2025. "I am bullish on the Denver Broncos," said Daniel. "I think they have everything they need." Fans will get their first look at Nix's growth when Denver takes on the San Francisco 49ers in their preseason opener on Saturday (view the full preseason schedule). Tom Holland Wore His Grandma's Fishnets During ‘Lip Sync Battle'

Aside from being an incredibly successful actor and our latest Spider-Man, Tom Holland goes down in history as one of the best Lip Sync Battle performers of all time, thanks to his mashup of Gene Kelly's 'Singing in the Rain' and Rihanna's 'Umbrella' in 2017. Just when we thought we knew everything about the hilarious moment where he secured his win against Zendaya's Bruno Mars cosplay, Tom casually dropped some new lore about his lip sync battle eight years later. During an appearance on Gordon Ramsay's Scrambled YouTube series, the celebrity chef got Tom to spill some details as they made spicy chicken sandwiches together. When asked if he borrowed his tights for his 'Umbrella' lip sync, Tom revealed, 'Were they mum's fishnets? They were my granny's, actually.' He added, 'What was really great about that is people didn't know that I could dance. I kept that quiet, I don't know why. And I came out with a bang.' As for how he and his now-fiancée prepped for the battle, Tom said they had originally agreed to keep things pretty chill. 'It's so funny, Zendaya and I, we were chatting at the time about what we were gonna do, and we had agreed that we would take it easy,' he explained to the celeb chef. 'That was the agreement, that it was like, 'I'm not gonna do anything crazy, you're not gonna do anything crazy, we're just gonna keep it nice and easy breezy.'' Obviously, it was nothing of the sort, as they pulled up in full costume for each of their lip syncs. Now, let's have a moment of silence (or, in our case, an uproar of laughter) for Tom's complete masterpiece of a performance: An icon, truly.
