WATCH: Mohammed Siraj celebrates Raksha Bandhan with Zanai, granddaughter of a famous singer, her name is... New Delhi: On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Indian cricketers shared special moments with their sisters on social media. One of these videos was of fast bowler Mohammed Siraj and Asha Bhosle's granddaughter Zanai Bhosle, which went viral in no time. In the video, Zanai is seen tying a Rakhi to Siraj. Zanai shared this video on Instagram along with Siraj and wrote, 'Happy Rakhi, nothing could have been better than this.' Put an end to the rumors After the video surfaced, rumors started spreading on social media that Siraj and Zanai were dating each other. However, both clarified that their relationship is only that of brother and sister, and their bond is very lovely. 'Miyan Magic' seen on England tour The England tour was the best phase of Mohammed Siraj's Test career. He took the most wickets in the series—23 in total—and never got tired even after bowling more than 185 overs. When Jasprit Bumrah needed rest, Siraj played all five consecutive Tests and strengthened the team. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Zanai Bhosle💜 (@zanaibhosle) Mohammed Siraj bowled an incredible 1113 deliveries, truly proving to be a relentless machine. From Leeds to London, he was the only fast bowler from both teams to play all five Test matches. Delivering 185.3 overs, Siraj finished as the top wicket-taker with 23 wickets. Although his average was slightly on the higher side at 32.43, this is understandable given the high-scoring nature of the series, played mostly on flat pitches against a strong and aggressive batting lineup. Career-best performance in Test rankings Siraj was named Player of the Match after his brilliant bowling in The Oval Test. With this, he jumped 12 places to 15th position in the ICC Test bowler rankings, which is the highest ranking of his career so far. This achievement is the result of his hard work and consistent performance.

Mouni Roy breaks silence on stereotypes – From ‘Naagin' to ‘Brahmāstra', says, 'hard work matters more than labels...'

From Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi to Naagin and Brahmastra, Mouni Roy has played it all, from mythological icons to supernatural queens. Audiences still remember her as 'Sati' in Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev, but now she's stepping into a new avatar, a detective in the upcoming series Salahkaar. While the role is exciting, it came with its challenges, as Mouni has faced a recurring issue throughout her career — being typecast. She said, 'I was typecast from the beginning' Speaking to News18, Mouni candidly recalled, 'Mujhe shuru se hi typecast kiya gaya hai. When I did 'Kyunki…', people said I couldn't do glamorous roles. When I appeared on reality or dance shows, they said I was too glamorous. When I played 'Sati', they said I looked too Indian. After 'Naagin', they believed I could only do fantasy or mythological shows.' These labels followed her for years, but she says they no longer bother her. Big-screen recognition Mouni shared that her performances in Brahmastra and her role as a ghost in Bhootni changed some perceptions. 'People then said I can do big, slightly unconventional roles well,' she noted. 'It's all about giving my 100%' For Mouni, the labels no longer matter; the effort does. 'Chahe role glamorous ho, hatke ho, simple ho ya dance se bhara ho… I just want people to see that I have worked hard and given my 100%. If the audience likes it and connects, that is the biggest reward for me,' she said.

Aishwarya Rai has been tying rakhi to THIS actor for 17 years, calls him 'Bhaiya,' his name is..., their last film together was... Aishwarya Rai is considered one of the most phenomenal actresses in Indian cinema. From her charismatic screen presence to her mesmerizing red carpet appearances, the actress has already left an indelible mark among audiences in her long acting career spanning nearly three decades. Her co-star from Jodhaa Akbar (2013), Sonu Sood, once opened up about his experience working with her and the compliment she gave him. Sonu Sood on his brotherly bond with Aishwarya Rai Back in 2013, in an interaction with TOI, Sonu Sood revealed that Aishwarya Rai was initially reserved on the sets but eventually opened up to him during a scene in the film and told him, 'You remind me of my pa!.' Sonu praised the actress and even mentioned that she is extremely adorable as a person and even tied him rakhi. They developed a close bond on the sets of Ashutosh Gowariker's Jodhaa Akbar and since then, have maintained a brother-sister like relationship. Even after so many years, Aishwarya has continued to tie rakhi to Sonu. Sonu Sood on working with Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan In the same interaction, Sonu revealed that he had the opportunity to collaborate with her husband Abhishek Bachchan in films like Yuva and Happy New Year . At the same time, he had the privilege of playing Amitabh Bachchan's son in Buddha Hoga Tera Baap. The Dabangg actor said, 'I thoroughly enjoyed working with Mr. Bachchan. He has played my father in Bbuddah… Hoga Terra Baap, while Abhishek has played my brother in Yuva and Aishwarya my sister in Jodhaa Akbar. In my first scene with Mr. Bachchan, I had to push him. I told my director, 'How can I do this to a person I have grown up respecting.' Sonu further added, 'He sits on the set and doesn't go to the van and goes on rehearsing his lines. I also do that and he was happy that I also wanted to rehearse. Like him on every film, I too feel that it is my first film. I sometimes get up in the night and start rehearsing my lines or start re-writing my dialogues and message my director. Abhishek is not layered and you get what you see. Aishwarya was reserved in the beginning, but opened up while doing a scene in Jodhaa Akbar when she told me, 'You remind me of my pa!' She still calls me bhai sahab.' Meanwhile, on the work front, Aishwarya Rai was last seen in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan: II (2023) . While, Sonu Sood starred in the action thriller Fateh (2024), which was directed by himself.
