Liam Gallagher shares huge life update during Oasis' Croke Park concert
Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has made a candid admission about his sobriety as Oasis kicked off their first gig at Dublin's historic Croke Park on Saturday night Liam Gallagher made a 'sober' confession as Oasis launched their gig at Croke Park on Saturday night (August 16). After already taking Cardiff, Heaton Park, Wembley Stadium and Murrayfield Stadium by storm, the Gallagher brothers returned to Ireland for the first time since 2008. The last time Oasis performed in the country where they once had a holiday home was at Slane Castle, Ireland's largest music venue. Their two sold-out nights in Dublin were hosted at the home of the GAA, the sports federation responsible for Gaelic football and hurling. With over 160,000 tickets snapped up, many Irish fans were left disappointed in their attempts to secure the coveted tickets last year, reports the Manchester Evening News. Excitement was mounting throughout the city all day, with plenty of bucket hats being worn to combat the sun and high temperatures. It comes after Lennon decided to snub the Dublin concerts and jetted to Ibiza. Once again, The Verve's Richard Ashcroft served as the opening act, who managed to down a pint of Guinness in one gulp, choosing not to split the G. Following the same set-list used at all their gigs so far, Oasis kicked off their show with Hello, before diving into Acquiesce and Morning Glory. Liam donned his signature green Kangol, while Noel wore a crisp white shirt, as the younger brother announced 'Dublin City in the area'. Before performing Some Might Say, Liam took a moment to reflect on playing in Croke Park for the first time. He said: "I think I'm a Croke Park virgin! We haven't played here before, have we? All I do know [is] this [is] the soberest I've been in Ireland since I was about four or five or something like that," he said. Whilst Liam is correct in saying it was his maiden appearance at the venue, Noel had previously backed U2 with his High Flying Birds in 2017. Later during the evening, Liam challenged the audience's clapping and Mexican waves just moments after hailing them as 'lunatics'. "I never asked you to clap out of time or do a Mexican wave. But you've gotta turn around and put your arms up and jump up and down like you don't care. If I can do it, so can you," he quipped.

Woman, 25, mistaken for her 59-year-old mum's SISTER slams trolls for ‘nasty, awful comments' about her appearance
Some shared their unsolicited beauty tips to ''look younger'' NO KIDDING Woman, 25, mistaken for her 59-year-old mum's SISTER slams trolls for 'nasty, awful comments' about her appearance Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A WOMAN, 25, mistaken for her 59-year-old mum's sister has hit back at the brutal online trolls. Beauty buff Coco Pons went viral on TikTok earlier this month after she shared an adorable make-up video with her mum, 59, before heading to a wedding. But while the two stunners looked incredible both with and without the glowy make-up, the clip, unfortunately, landed on the so-called 'wrong side of TikTok'. Hiding behind their profiles, thousands of online trolls flooded to comments, where many said Coco looked ''the same age'' as her mum - who is more than 25 years older. While some wondered if the two were ''sisters'', others dubbed the cute duo ''older twins'', as they begged Coco to start using ''sunscreen''. Meanwhile, some brutal viewers refused to believe the daughter was 25 - and others shared their unsolicited beauty tips to ''look younger''. After reading the thousands of ''awful and nasty'' comments about her looks, the US-based TikToker posted a follow-up message hitting back at the meanies. Sharing a series of snaps of herself and her mum, Coco said: ''I've never had anything done to my face because I felt like it wasn't necessary. ''I've always had freckles and pale skin because I'm a ginger,'' said Coco who posts under the username @curatedbycoco___. Coco, who's always sported ''blonde eyebrows'' trolls urged her to dye ''darker'', added that she's also using sun cream - despite what some may think. ''I have, wear a tonne of sunscreen because I live at the beach - and I've never entered a tanning bed in my life.'' I've lost 9 stone & am barely recognisable from my former self - my transformation's so insane people even think it's AI She went on: ''I don't remember asking others for opinions. And I couldn't care less what random people think about us. ''Keep your comments to yourself next time speaking about someone looks,'' Coco urged everyone to be kinder in the caption. The latest video has since taken the internet by storm, amassing more than 8million views and over 535k likes. Why is turmeric good for anti-ageing? A study published in the Asia Pacific Journal of Clinical Nutrition suggests that turmeric and curcumin may help prevent DNA damage and aid in DNA repair. This is promising news for disease prevention and slowing the ageing process. It also: Boosts Collagen Production: Collagen is a protein that maintains the skin's elasticity and firmness. As we age, collagen production decreases, leading to wrinkles and sagging skin. Turmeric helps stimulate collagen synthesis, thereby promoting firmer and more youthful skin. Improves Skin Health: Turmeric has been shown to improve various skin conditions, such as acne, psoriasis, and eczema. Its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties help soothe the skin, reduce redness, and promote a clearer complexion. One fan said: ''PEOPLE ONLINE ARE MISERABLE!!!! You're beautiful!'' Someone else chimed in: ''you're just a happy person with smile lines why is everyone so mean.'' A third commented: ''You are STUNNING. Unsolicited opinion, I think if you filled in your brows darker it would have a youthful effect. But truly you look your age and are gorgeous.'' Meanwhile, another wrote: ''As a fellow ginger we are more prone to sunburn which means drier, wrinkle prone skin. ''Many people are overdoing it but both you guys need/needed to protect your skin more. People wouldn't point it out if it wasn't in our face.''

David is now famed for his three-way 'throuple' relationships with girlfriend Sian Osborne, 33, and other women. And if he joins the South Africa-based spin-off, he could be urged to spill the beans on his exploits by other celeb camp mates. A source said: 'David was delighted to get the call from ITV. As viewers know, no chats are off-limits around the campfire, so they can expect to see David grilled over his quirky relationships.' He came third during his previous stint in the jungle, behind Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley Roberts and EastEnders actress Charlie Brooks, who won. Nicknamed The Hayemaker, he made an estimated £20million boxing. But last week we told how court papers revealed HMRC believes his firm, Hayemaker Boxing Ltd, dodged tax. Debts mounted up after he had failed to pay corporation tax from 2010 to 2013. David has been dating model Sian since 2020 and the pair welcomed ex-Saturdays singer Una Healy and ex-Corrie star Helen Flanagan into their relationship. Other stars in talks to appear on I'm A Celebrity… South Africa include retired footie boss Harry Redknapp, 78, who won the main series in 2018, and Towie's Gemma Collins, 44.
