Osbourne's family announced that the Black Sabbath singer died on July 22, 2024. He was 76. 'It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,' Osbourne's family confirmed in statement. Just weeks before his death, he performed during Black Sabbath's final show. The show had 42,000 fans attend, with more than five million more streaming the epic event via VOD. Billboard reported the Back to the Beginning show was the highest-grossing charity concert of all time, donating roughly $190 million to a variety of charities, including Birmingham Children's Hospital, Acorn Children's Hospice and Cure Parkinson's. Osbourne was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2019.
