Watch excruciating moment The Chase's Mark Labbett FALLS ASLEEP in middle of dinner date - and wakes to make another baffling faux pas

He is known for being quick off the bat as he savagely eliminates wannabe quizzers on The Chase.
But Mark 'The Beast' Labbett's energy dipped in his very first date on the new series of Celebs Go Dating - with the quizzer actually yawning in his date's face.
Mark, 60, joined fellow quiz lover Natalie out for a drink but appeared exhausted throughout, continually yawning in her face and even closing his eyes.
It was so obvious that the narrator, comedian Rob Beckett, could be heard saying: 'Catching 40 winks whilst eating is a skill.'
The moment became even more excruciating when he picked up a tea light from the table and tried to drink from it, mistaking it for his drink.
'Oh that's not a drink,' Mark said, while later in a piece to camera added: 'That was so embarrassing. I'm trying my best for Natalie, but she's not getting the best out of me. Sorry love.'
Mark, who was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 2017, previously spoke of how filming ended prematurely one day after he had a hypoglycemia episode - but it is unknown if it was this day.
Hypoglycemia is another word for low blood sugar, which sees the glucose level in your blood drop too low.
Recalling the moment at the time, Mark said: 'One night, I had a hypoglycaemic attack. I might have been a bit grumpy that night. I apologised to everyone after.'
Mark got diagnosed with the condition after a routine check-up.
Previously opening up how it happened, Mark told The Express: 'I've got skin that doesn't heal properly in my lower legs
'A nurse looked at me and she asked, "Are you sure you are not diabetic?" They took a test and she said, "'Yes, you're diabetic".'
The painful date left viewers cringing, as they said they felt sorry for Natalie and branded Mark 'rude'.
They wrote: 'The Beast's first date has me both laughing and cringing in equal measures,';
The painful date left viewers cringing, as they said they felt sorry for Natalie and branded Mark 'rude'
'^The Beast^ is yawning almost as much as I am,'; 'Mark is not coming across well here. Feel sorry for his date,';
'How that woman hasn't got up and walked from the date with Mark I don't know,'; 'never been as uncomfortable watching a date on tv as i'am watching the beasts on,';
'Happy to big himself up then yawns in her face the moment she speaks, Jack Nicholson as good as it gets vibes,';
Mark has recently lost a lot of weight, after ballooning to 29 stone at his heaviest.
After being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, he has since lost a whopping 10 stone and managed to do so from changing his diet and doing more exercise.
Last year, he revealed that he now has the same figure that he had when he was 18.
He told OK!: 'I've got roughly the same physique as I had when I was playing rugby at 18 years old, but I've got less muscle so that might take it down even more.'
It was recently reported that Mark is 'dating' a stunning beautician after he 'instantly connected' with her on Celebs Go Dating.
Mark signed up for the E4 series after he split from TV presenter Hayley Palmer.
The 6ft 6in TV personality got close to 5ft 2in Deanne Perkins, 57, after they met on the show.
The pair have quietly been seeing each other in recent weeks, according to reports.
A source told The Sun: 'Mark and Deanne instantly connected and have been enjoying getting to know each other away from the cameras.

Actor Noel Clarke set to learn outcome of libel claim

Actor Noel Clarke is set to discover whether he has been successful in his High Court libel claim against the publisher of the Guardian on Friday. Clarke, 49, is suing Guardian News and Media (GNM) over seven articles and a podcast, including an article in April 2021 that said 20 women who knew him professionally had come forward with allegations of misconduct. Clarke denies the allegations, while GNM is defending its reporting as being both true and in the public interest. A trial earlier this year heard from multiple witnesses who made accusations against Clarke, including that he had allegedly shared nude photographs of them without their consent, groped them, and asked them to look at him when he was exposed. Barristers for Clarke told the court that there is a conspiracy of people with financial and personal grudges against him who engineered his downfall because they could not bear to see him receive a Bafta award. Mrs Justice Steyn is set to hand down her ruling at 10.30am on Friday. The trial of the libel claim was held from early March to early April at the Royal Courts of Justice in London. Clarke, who has previously appeared in TV shows including Doctor Who, Auf Wiedersehen, Pet and Bulletproof, gave evidence over several days. At one stage, he appeared visibly emotional as he claimed the publisher had 'smashed my life'. He said: 'They have smashed my life for four years with this rubbish, this nonsense. Four years.' He continued: 'I did not do this, I would not do this. I have got children. This is not true.' He later said that while he was 'a flawed guy', he added: 'The reason I stand here four years later is I am not what they have branded me.' Philip Williams, representing the actor, said that his client was a 'casualty' of a media 'purge' following the emergence of the MeToo movement. He continued that Clarke was made a 'scapegoat' and was an 'easy target' because he was at the height of his success when the media industry 'zealously sought to correct itself'. The barrister also criticised the Guardian's investigation, saying the newspaper 'manifestly failed to do its job properly'.Mr Williams asked the court to find the claim successful, saying the Guardian's reporting has caused serious harm to Clarke's career, with 'continuing hostile reactions online and in public discourse'. Gavin Millar KC, for GNM, said there is 'not a shred of evidence' to support Clarke's claim of a conspiracy, describing it as 'nonsensical and rather desperate speculation'. He said Clarke has a 'very clear motive to lie' because he 'stands to lose a great deal'. In written submissions, Mr Millar said Clarke 'used his power to prey on and harass female colleagues' over a period of 15 years. He said: 'This was a careful and thorough investigation conducted conscientiously by Guardian journalists who were aware of the potential pitfalls. 'They received information from a wide range of sources with direct evidence of misconduct and in each case carefully considered and tested the information they were given, electing to publish only such information as they believed was credible.'

Chloe Kelly won't change anything in vow to keep good times rolling at Arsenal

Kelly's stardom reached new heights when she fired home the decisive spot-kick in England's shootout triumph over Spain at last month's European Championships. The 27-year-old is the bookmakers' odds-on favourite, ahead of Masters winner Rory McIlroy, to claim the BBC's Sports Personality of the Year award. Chloe Kelly won the Champions League with Arsenal last season (Zed Jameson/PA) But Kelly, who also scored the winning goal for England in their Euro 2022 success, said: 'I am just myself all of the time and it doesn't change my mindset or me as a person. Nothing changes in my eyes. I just love playing football and having fun. 'Since the Euros, I have spent loads of time with my family, which is special to me. I have switched off completely from the game and social media and focused on myself and what I need to do to keep going. I am excited now for the season to start and I cannot wait to get back on the pitch.' Kelly's back-to-back Euros glory came after winning the Champions League for Arsenal in what has been a dream summer for the player who re-signed for the Gunners last month following a loan period from Manchester City. But she continued: 'It is definitely not hard to get going again. You want to get going straightaway. We have got competitions to win this season that we are so hungry for, and once you taste success you want more of it, and we will continue to do that. 'For me, I just want to win everything that is possible, and my eyes are set high for this season with Arsenal, and future tournaments for England, too.' Kelly scored the decisive penalty in England's shootout win against Spain (Peter Byrne/PA) Kelly was speaking alongside two of Arsenal's other summer signings, Olivia Smith and Taylor Hinds, who have both joined from Liverpool. Arsenal made Smith, who netted seven times in her debut Women's Super League season, the first £1million player in the women's game after agreeing a world-record fee with the Reds. 'It is definitely an honour, to come with such a hefty price tag for such a young player like me,' said the 20-year-old. 'Arsenal see the potential that I have, and they see my mindset. I am hungry, driven, I want to learn, I want to grow and I want to win things ultimately. 'The money is not really a big deal for me. It is more about being around these girls and to keep growing and learning in this environment.' Arsenal will open their bid to dethrone Chelsea as WSL champions against London City Lionesses on September 6.

Frankie Bridge breaks her silence on Loose Women feud after rumours of fierce rivalry with Myleene Klass and her ex bandmate Rochelle Humes

Frankie Bridge has broken her silence about her Loose Women relationships after feud rumours with Myleene Klass and Rochelle Humes. The Saturdays singer, 36, is believed to be in a 10-year feud with Myleene, 47, after Myleene is said to have believed she was being 'blanked' by Frankie and confronted her at the 2013 Glamour Women of the Year awards. The tension has reportedly led to ITV having to step in to avoid any conflict during the daytime TV programme, Loose Women, where both stars regularly appear. But now Frankie has opened up about the rumours and her relationships on the show. Answering a fan question on Instagram Frankie gushed: 'I love it! The women are all so funny and supportive. Behind-the-scenes team are just as amazing and integral to the show. I'm very lucky. 'I've consistently worked with amazing women for the best part of my career and I wouldn't have it any other way.' Myleene is said to be at loggerheads with Frankie and her The Saturdays bandmate Rochelle Humes — both former clients of her bodyguard ex-husband. According to claims, ITV have been forced to step in to help smooth things in the decade-long feud, which is just now coming to light. The trio all used to hang out together, with Loose Women hosts Myleene and Frankie attending fellow ITV star Rochelle's hen do in 2012. Yet the following year, Myleene is said to have believed she was being 'blanked' by Frankie and confronted her at the 2013 Glamour Women of the Year awards - which is when the pair requested not to work together. However, due to a staff shortage around Christmas last year, Myleene and Frankie ended up on the same Loose Women panel - resulting in an 'awkward' episode with 'minimal interaction'. They were joined by panellists Kaye Adams and Linda Robson, who sat between them, the camera flashed to Myleene as Frankie discussed her dislike for the drawn out days between Christmas and New Year. Myleene flashed a vacant smile, as Frankie explained that she 'feels a bit lost' during the period between the two festive holidays. Meanwhile Myleene's feud with Rochelle is said to have been sparked after The Saturdays star recently shared a picture of herself on holiday in Ibiza with husband Marvin and Myleene's ex-husband Graham Quinn. Graham used to work as JLS' tour manager and last week Myleene accused him of cheating on her with an unknown star. According to insiders close to the situation, Rochelle sharing the photo on Instagram the same week she made the revelation was 'game over' for Myleene. It's the latest twist as it's been reported that there has been an underlying conflict between Myleene, Rochelle and Frankie, who all work at ITV. Last week, Frankie sparked frenzied speculation by posting a cryptic video, saying somebody was 'dead to me', with fans wondering if she was talking about Rochelle. It was claimed they snubbed each other when attending Wimbledon last month. A source told The Sun: 'They don't seem to be getting on and that's making things more complicated for bookers who are keen to keep everyone happy. 'They've been competing since they were 12 when they joined S Club Juniors and now it appears they're competing for top jobs on ITV. While Rochelle rose in the ranks to present This Morning, her appearances have become few and far between since other famous faces have been brought in. 'Meanwhile Frankie has been a regular panellist on Loose Women since 2020 and has the ear of ITV producers who she's become close friends with. Now ITV bosses do everything they can to avoid awkward run-ins. If Rochelle is on This Morning and has to pass over to Frankie on Loose Women, it's kept as brief as possible.' The former bandmates became friends in childhood, both finding fame in S Club Juniors before joining Rochelle Humes, Una Healy, Mollie King and Vanessa White in The Saturdays. Yet in recent months, their relationship is said to have soured, with the pair reportedly snubbing each other when they attended Wimbledon last month. The pair were both pictured enjoying the hospitality at the tennis tournament but it is said they kept their interactions to a minimum. An onlooker claimed: 'It was clear the women were keeping their distance. They sat on opposite sides of the suite and kept to themselves.' They added to The Sun: 'While Frankie posed for pictures with S Club's Rachel Stevens, Rochelle took selfies with her husband Marvin and his I'm A Celebrity campmate Sam Thompson. 'Even though they were pleasant to each other when they did brush shoulders, they didn't spend any extra time together than they had to, in between being amicable while passing each other en route to watch the tennis.' Speculation of a feud then went into overdrive when Frankie shared a TikTok video about holding a grudge - with fans speculating that she was referring to Rochelle because it followed reports that they had snubbed one another at Wimbledon last month Frankie's representatives have told Daily Mail that there is 'absolutely no feud' between the pair, while those close to Rochelle insist there is 'no feud'. Myleene's representative declined to comment on the situation. Yet that didn't stop Frankie posting a cryptic social media post that was captioned: 'You're so quiet… Thanks, you said something five years ago and I've just realised you're actually dead to me.' The TikTok video showed Frankie sipping on a glass of wine and was set to the music of Avril Lavigne's What The Hell. Frankie then added below: 'Takes me a while, but once you're dead you're dead.' She didn't specify who or what incident she was talking about in the post. While Frankie and Rochelle found fame as singers they have since both turned their hand to the world of TV - with Frankie a regular panelist on Loose Women, while Rochelle is a stand-in presenter for This Morning. As for Myleene, she hit headlines last week when she publicly addressed ex-husband Graham's cheating scandal. Graham, 47, started dating Myleene in 2001, having met when he worked as security guard for her pop group Hear'Say. The couple went on to welcome daughters Ava, 17, and Hero, 14, and tied the knot in 2011 after a decade together - only to separate six months later. Speaking on Paul Brunson's We Need To Talk podcast, the mother-of-two said: 'I walked in on him with a famous person on my birthday on a balcony.' Turning her thoughts towards the other woman, Myleene said: 'I've made peace with that situation now, but for a long time, it was very difficult to see their life. 'My life literally just broke apart very, very publicly and their life, they've managed to continue building a family brand on it. I have to take some accountability. 'Look, you know, first and foremost to my children. My children have asked enough questions and it's never been a case of laying out my stall now. 'It's got to be as and when. But here's the funny thing - school mums, people who just want to gossip, will go to your children before anybody else.' According to the TV presenter, the pair tried to claim that it wasn't what it looked like and she continued: 'I'm in my house, it's my party. They weren't having sex, but they were unzipping each other. 'It's not what you think'. But I'm like, 'It is what I think'. 'It's the first thing they both said. I kicked everyone out of the party, including his mum and dad. They went back to Ireland and his dad said: 'He doesn't get it from me'. 'I remember thinking that was quite a weird thing to say,' she told the love expert. Graham tried to blame the affair on being drunk. Myleene admitted the whole ordeal was a 'pretty big red flag' but still went through with their wedding in October 2011.
