Detective Sherdil ending explained
Who is the killer in Detective Sherdil?
Sherdil began to sense that Rajeshwari, Angad, and Shanti were hiding the truth.. Their stories didn't align, and something felt off. A key breakthrough came when Bodhi informed Sherdil and Natasha that, on the day of Mr. Bhatti's death, he had seen Angad shooting clay pigeons. Oddly enough, despite being an excellent marksman, Angad missed every shot. Bodhi also mentioned spotting Purvak running out of the mansion.
They also discovered that large sums were being transferred to a hospital in Budapest. It turned out that Mr. Bhatti had been secretly receiving treatment for cancer. Among the family, it was Shanti who was shaken so much that she even suggested the idea of killing her father.
Who was the killer in Detective Sherdil?
In a shocking revelation, Shanti, Mr. Bhatti's beloved daughter, turned out to be the killer. Under the guise of affection, she embraced her father only to snatch a gun and shoot him. After the murder, Rajeshwari and Angad blackmailed Purvak, threatening to report his sister unless he took the blame. Left with no choice, Purvak falsely confessed. In the end, Sherdil uncovered the truth, exonerated an innocent man, and brought the real culprits to justice.
Will Detective Sherdil have a sequel?
In the final moments of the film, Sherdil receives a new assignment in Kenya—hinting that his detective journey is far from over. While an official sequel hasn't been announced, this cliffhanger strongly suggests that a second part could be in the works. Fans may very well see Detective Sherdil return for another thrilling mystery.
