Neverland wins Center Parcs creative account

Business Mayor08-05-2025
Center Parcs has picked Neverland to take on its creative account following a three-way competitive pitch.
The process was handled by Ingenuity+ and Neverland will be responsible for brand strategy and creative campaigns.
Sara Holt, chief marketing officer at Center Parcs, said: 'Center Parcs is an incredible business with deep guest loyalty, unrivalled occupancy and an amazing story to tell. It needs a special partner.
'From the moment we met Josh [Harris, chief executive at Neverland], Jon [Forsyth, co-founder] and Simon [Massey, co-founder] they demonstrated a love of our brand that only comes from being a guest who has made lifetime family memories on our villages. They have used this to show us an enticing future. We are so excited to roll this out together to our guests and colleagues.'
The indie will begin working with Center Parcs immediately, creating a new campaign and strategy to help elevate the brand and achieve growth.
Harris added: 'From the moment we met Sara and the team, we felt the energy and potential behind this special opportunity to evolve one of the UK and Ireland's most iconic brands.
'We're grateful for the trust, time, and care Center Parcs put into an amazing pitch process. We're absolutely buzzing to get started.'
Neverland will be taking over from fellow independent creative shop Brothers & Sisters, which declined to repitch for the business.
Gill Huber, managing director at Ingenuity+, said: 'Throughout the pitch process Neverland continuously showed its passion and commitment to Center Parcs, giving the brand a sense of what the agency would be like as a partner for the brand's next stage of evolution.

'We appreciate the effort and time given by all the agencies that took part in the process and glad Center Parcs found its perfect partner. I look forward to seeing what this new dynamic duo can create together.'
Brothers & Sisters first won the account in 2013. Y&R London (now VML UK) later took over in 2017. The former won the account again in 2021.
The incumbent has created Center Parcs work such as 'Bears', 'Family forever' and 'Cherish the moment'.

Bears Rookie Colston Loveland Wins Training Camp With 'Rookie Skit'

Bears Rookie Colston Loveland Wins Training Camp With 'Rookie Skit' originally appeared on The Spun. Colston Loveland has already been crowned a fan favorite without playing a single regular-season game for the Chicago Bears. Loveland had 56 catches for 582 yards and five touchdowns during his final year at Michigan, solidifying his status as one of the best tight ends in the country. Clearly, he impressed Chicago's front office. The Bears selected him with the No. 10 pick in this year's draft. Bears head coach Ben Johnson compared Loveland to Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta, who he coached for two seasons. "I do see a lot of comparisons to [Sam] LaPorta, but that's not just on the field, that was off the field as well, because with LaPorta the stage was never too big or too bright," Johnson said. "I felt that same thing with Colston the first time I met him. He doesn't bat an eye, he performs at a high level, and as we talk about where we're going as an organization, and we're going to be playing in these big games with the bright lights, we need guys that are going to rise up to the occasion. And he's going to do that for us." Only time will tell if Loveland can produce at LaPorta's level. What we can say for certain is that he's got quite the personality. Earlier this week, the Bears had their rookies perform skits on the latest episode of their documentary series "1920 Football Drive." Loveland decided to sing Mario's "Let me Love You" in front of his teammates and coaches. Let's just say Loveland crushed it. NFL fans praised Loveland for being such a good sport. "Yeah he definitely invited to the cookout," one fan said. "110 catches, 1400 yards, 15 tds on deck," a second fan commented. "He's going on my fantasy team," another fan said. "Ok I wasn't a fan of the pick but I might have to rethink my stance on bro now," a Bears fan wrote. Loveland and the Bears will be on the field this Sunday to take on the Buffalo Bills. We'll see if Loveland can back up his performance of "Let Me Love You" with a strong showing on the gridiron. Linsey Davis of 'ABC News' reveals she has uterine fibroids, will get hysterectomy

"ABC News" anchor Linsey Davis is revealing for the first time her yearslong struggle with uterine fibroids. The "World News Tonight" weekend anchor explained during a "ABC News Live Prime" conversation with singer Tamar Braxton and model and actress Cynthia Bailey on Monday, Aug. 12, that she has powered through painful and severe fatigue behind the scenes due to fibroids. Davis hopes to help women by revealing her fibroid battle. "I feel like if there is an 80% instance in anyone's health, it should be a priority," she said. She also said a hysterectomy was the right path forward for her. "I guess I just want to be final. You just want to be finished," Davis said. "It causes me enough angst and grief, and planning my day differently, accordingly, that I really feel like I'm ready to be finished with this journey." What are fibroids? Uterine fibroids are a type of noncancerous tumor that grows in and on the uterus, according to the Cleveland Clinic. The common diagnosis can also result in back pain, frequent urination or pain during sex. Small fibroids rarely need treatment, while large fibroids can be treated with medication or surgery. Fibroids are more common and more severe in Black people, and up to 90% of Black people with a uterus have fibroids by age 50, according to the Mayo Clinic. Black women are also two to three times more likely to have frequent fibroids or experience complications, according to Michigan Medicine. A hysterectomy is an effective treatment for fibroids and is the only cure for uterine fibroids, but it typically prevents future pregnancies as it completely removes the uterus, according to the Cleveland Clinic. Davis, 47, has one son, Ayden, 11. Who is Linsey Davis? What to know about ABC anchor moderating Harris-Trump debate Davis said she also experienced intense bloating due to her uterine fibroids. She said during coverage of the Oscars in March, people online began to speculate she was pregnant. Both Braxton and Bailey said they also experienced severe bloating. Lupita Nyong'o joins fight to fund fibroids research: 'I no longer want to remain silent' "I stayed on the celebrity baby bump alert. Like I was always giving '(I'm) pregnant with imaginary children' because of my fibroids," Bailey said. "And I was shutting down on rumors, I was like, 'I'm not pregnant, I have fibroids.'"
