The blockbuster boasts an all-star cast including Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki and Sir Ian McKellan returning as Magneto.
King Charles, who is Ranger of Windsor Great Park, is said to have been made aware but is set to be on his Balmoral estate in Scotland during filming.
Marvel multiverse movie Avengers: Endgame is the second highest grossing movie of all time, raking in more than £2billion.
Marvel Studios, which is owned by Disney, has paid a fortune in location fees to erect its sets next to Windsor Castle in Berkshire — with the money going towards maintaining the park.
Windsor Great Park is owned by Crown Estates and the King gets 25 per cent of its annual profits.
The exact price tag is not known but a source said: 'Several million pounds is chicken feed to Marvel when their movies make billions.
'But the money will go to the upkeep of Windsor Great Park so the King of course has a keen interest.
'Some of the profits of Crown Estates make their way to the Royal Family so it's a win-win for everyone.
'The Royal Family may even be persuaded to pop by and have a look at Thor in action.'
Planning documents estimate up to 300 crew and cast will be on site for filming this summer.

Although the scenes to be shot at Windsor and the actors involved in them are being kept under wraps, the files show one set is listed as Luke Cage's House and the other is Annie Reynolds' House.
Cage is the alter-ego of Power Man with superhuman strength and unbreakable skin, while Reynolds is thought to be a new character as the mother of Sentry.
Our exclusive photos show a 1960s-style US house for Cage that has already been built.

The royals are likely to have a keen interest in the blockbuster film.
Charles is patron of the British Film Institute and appeared at the premiere of Gladiator II last year.
William has been President of Bafta since 2010.
In 2023, Wills and Kate took kids George and Charlotte to meet the cast and crew of Lord of the Rings telly spin-off The Rings of Power, being filmed in Ascot.
The Princess of Wales has previously revealed Prince Louis' favourite superhero is Marvel character Spider-Man.
A spokesman for The Crown Estates did not want to comment.

I moved to Spain 4 years ago & will never be bored of it – I don't work & pick my kids up from school & go to the pool
Jodie revealed how people can also make the move to Spain LIFE'S A BEACH I moved to Spain 4 years ago & will never be bored of it – I don't work & pick my kids up from school & go to the pool Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A MUM has shared how her family ditched the UK to live in Spain four years ago and will 'never be bored' of her new life. Jodie Marlow, who shares clips of her new sunny lifestyle online, shared how she doesn't miss the rainy weather at all, and spends her days enjoying the sun. In a clip on her @jodiemar1ow account, which has over 1,790 likes, she said: 'Four years in & don't think I'll ever get bored of this.' She added that the weather is perfect for her, with temperatures in the top 20s or 30s every day. Jodie said: 'It's not too hot, not too cold. Like, I can wear my nice summer dresses, which I love.' When her kids are at school, she spends her time picking up fruit and veg at the local market, or going for a pamper, including laser hair surgery. She then does housework before picking up the boys and having some lunch with them. Meanwhile, weekends are spent exploring gorgeous nearby beaches and dining out in local restaurants. MOVING TO SPAIN Finally, Jodie advised people on how they can also make the move to Spain. She shared: 'If you hold a UK British passport, you can't just move to Spain like you could pre-Brexit, you do need a visa. 'The working visa you could look into getting dependent on if you've got a specialised job. I quit my job and did a complete 180 moving to Spain - beer is just $3 a pint and my life is so much better 'The self-employed visa, basically they said to us it's just impossible to get, so we didn't even try with that. 'But the digital nomad visa allows anyone that is working online, as long as you are earning a set amount of money that provides for if there's four of you for the family, you can pay for all four of you, and they set out exactly how much that would be.' Since Brexit, UK citizens, and non-EU citizens require a visa to stay longer than 90 days. 5 Jodie said the weather is usually perfect for her Credit: Getty SOCIAL REACTION Many people were quick to chime in and comment on her new life in Spain, and praise her for making the move. One said: 'It's beautiful there, my sister moved there 26 yrs ago, no regrets.' A second added: 'I don't think you could ever get bored of that lifestyle.' Meanwhile, and a third joked: 'You sure you wouldn't rather be stuck indoors looking out at the rain?' Jodie replied: 'deffo don't miss that side of the uk.' 5 Jodie advised getting a digital nomad visa if you want to make the move Credit: Alamy

Katie Price breaks her silence amid Peter Andre row and says ‘she refuses to be bullied and gaslit'
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) KATIE Price has hit back at ongoing speculation about her family amid an ongoing war with exes Peter Andre and Alex Reid. The glamour model has been making headlines over the past week amid ongoing rows triggered by the launch of her 18-year-old daughter Princess's new reality show, The Princess Diaries. Shortly afterwards, Peter broke his 16-year silence to speak out against his ex-wife, making public for the first time that the kids were court ordered to live with him since 2019. This then set off a chain of events which included reports she had got into a 'rift' with Princess, her second husband, Alex Reid, making his own public accusations against her. Katie initially responded to Peter's claims with a thinly-veiled post about 'saints and sinners', and a singular statement via a lawyer regarding Alex's claim – which showed her counting wads of cash despite being declared bankrupt. But she broke her silence today on the latest episode of her podcast. The mum-of-five briefly addressed the ongoing trouble with her sister, Sophie – saying she "refuses to be gaslit" and standing by what she said. "It's been full on [this week], but I want people to know: I own my s**t," she told Sophie. "It's very well documented, and I've always said how I've learned from my past. I'd always have a reaction to things, then it would spiral out of control, and this and that, and then spiralling out of control would make more headlines. "I'm so at peace with everything. At. Peace. I don't need to rise to people, and what I say on my podcast is generally my opinion, what I feel, and I don't lie about anything. Nothing." "Everything's in my lawyer's hands now," she continued. "I'm not being bullied or gaslighted anymore from anybody." Princess Andre breaks silence on Peter and Katie's bitter feud after his blistering statement She then couldn't resist a swipe at her exes, stating: "I find people from my past still go beyond about me. It's like, are they all that's obsessed? Just chill out and get on with your own life." However, she did set the record straight about the relationship she has with her two children, 20-year-old son Junior and Princess, 18, whom she shares with Peter, insisting they get on well even if they don't appear on her social media. "I will say one thing: I don't have to go on social media, and always, the amount of times I see Junior, I don't go to Junior, 'Oh Junior, while I'm around your house - and Jasmine - can we all do a picture just to show that I'm round your house and we're doing dinner?' "I don't have to prove it to anyone, because I know. I've been there done that. It's like with Princess, I see her all the time. I don't have to do pictures now all the time." As Sophie credited Princess for being in "good spirits" about the ongoing attention, Katie added: "She knows the score, she knows what it's like, but she also knows, because we always talk, we know that everything's not always what it seems. "I love my kids, and that's all that matters – and they love me." 7 Katie's annoyance at being excluded from Princess's series kickstarted a string of accusations Credit: ITV 7 Alex shared a video of Katie counting wads of cash despite being declared bankrupt Credit: PA 7 Katie told "those in her past" to "get a life" calling them "obsessed" with her Credit: Getty

Massive US rock legends drop ‘clue' they're playing secret Reading and Leeds set after fans spotted gaps in line up
Music lovers are convinced this band will grace the stage big tease Massive US rock legends drop 'clue' they're playing secret Reading and Leeds set after fans spotted gaps in line up Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Fans of The Foo Fighters have been sent into a frenzy after noticing gaps in the Reading and Leeds Festival lineup poster. They believe there's a chance that the popular band could be planning a surprise appearance after noticing the festival lineup looked more sparse than in previous years. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 4 The Foo Fighters have performed around the world on tour as well as at events like this one during Cannes Lions 2023 Credit: Getty 4 Leeds Festival 2024 had an incredible turnout as well, hitting around 90,000 Credit: Getty Many keen Instagrammers believe this theory has been backed up by the band themselves, who made a throwback post this week to 2019 when they last performed at the much-loved event. "Reading Festival 2019," The Foo Fighters' caption simply read on a video of the band performing their set six years ago. "For those of you with access to the @bbciplayer, the full 2019 Reading set is up now at the link in bio." Speculation began to snowball on the Leeds Festival Community Reddit page, with fans sharing their thoughts on the seemingly out-of-the-blue nostalgia. "OK I know this is a long shot,' one commenter began. "But foos just posted a R&L video throwback from 2019 on Instagram. Anyone else think this may be a hint of a secret/surprise set this year? "If so, do you think it will be at Reading? Or Leeds? Or both?" Though others in the group seemed less certain about the likelihood of The Foo Fighters making an appearance. "Very much confident about them not being there this year. It's been years since an absolutely huge headline band did a secret set," said one. "Less than zero chance," agreed another. Foo Fighters make surprise Glastonbury performance as The Churn Ups Though even if The Foo Fighters are a no-show, fans are also beginning to wonder whether two other massive bands are lined up for secret sets at the festival. Reading and Leeds Festival 2025, sponsored by Rockstar Energy, is set to span over this Friday to Sunday. It's going to feature all kinds of star-studded names including Chappell Roan, Hozier, Travis Scott, and Bring Me The Horizon. The Foo Fighters have previously played at The Reading and Leeds Festival many times, including in 1995, 1998 and 2000. They headlined for the first time back in 2002, and then again in 2005, 2012, and 2019. 4 Festival hopefuls remember when they graced the Pyramid Stage back in 2023 for Glastonbury Credit: Alamy
