Always warm with the paparazzi, Janhvi was seen waving and smiling as she entered the terminal. The look sparked major appreciation online, with fans calling it one of her best off-duty outfits yet. Some were quick to notice the statement jacket that added just the right pop to her otherwise neutral palette.
Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor recently took to Instagram to honour her late mother, the legendary Sridevi, in a deeply personal and stylish tribute that won hearts online. The actress shared a series of photos wearing a custom-made denim jacket inspired by Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari, the iconic 1990 Telugu fantasy film that starred Sridevi opposite Chiranjeevi.
The jacket, adorned with imagery and motifs from the cult classic, wasn't just a fashion statement—it was an emotional homage. In her caption, Janhvi poured out her admiration for the film and for the team that brought it to life. 'Obsessed with this jacket!!!! Obsessssssssed with this movie!!!!" she wrote, reflecting on her recent experience of watching the re-released print. 'I had the pleasure of rewatching the rereleased print a couple days back and was reminded of the magic created by the whole team."
What followed was a touching reflection on her mother's enchanting on-screen presence. 'Mumma is like an angel fairy princess and so funny and so cute," Janhvi shared, reminding fans of Sridevi's unique ability to light up the screen.
She went on to heap praise on Chiranjeevi for his unforgettable performance, as well as director K. Raghavendra Rao's visionary storytelling. 'Chiranjeevi Konidela sir and his inimitable humour, bravado and swagger—and both of them together—Raghavendra sir's vision, Amrish Puri sir, the music, sets, costumes, story!!! All the actors!!!!!" she wrote with visible excitement.
Janhvi also acknowledged the team responsible for restoring and reviving the film for its theatrical re-release. 'The revival of this new print couldn't have been executed by more able hands and is a gift to cinema lovers today. It felt like a visual spectacle that would give our contemporary films a run for their money."
Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari, widely regarded as one of the most iconic fantasy films in Telugu cinema, continues to hold a special place in Indian film history. Its recent re-release gave Janhvi—and many others—a chance to revisit the grandeur and charm of a timeless classic on the big screen.
Professionally, Janhvi Kapoor is enjoying a strong run. She was last seen in Devara: Part 1 alongside Jr NTR and has a dynamic slate of upcoming films. Her next projects include Param Sundari with Sidharth Malhotra, Homebound opposite Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with Varun Dhawan, and Peddi, in which she stars alongside Ram Charan.

Aamir Khan Spotted With GF Gauri Spratt, Poses With Fans At Mumbai Airport
Last Updated: Aamir Khan and his ladylove Gauri Spratt rocked comfy casual outfits as they arrived together at Mumbai Airport on Tuesday. Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and his ladylove Gauri Spratt were spotted by the paparazzi on Tuesday. The couple arrived at the Mumbai Airport, and were seen quickly making their way inside the airport. Aamir, who is gearing up for the release of his film Sitaare Zameen Par, was also seen happily obliging his fans for selfies as they approached him at the airport. Aamir and Gauri's relationship has been making headlines ever since the superstar introduced his girlfriend to the media, in an informal meet-and-greet ahead of his 60 th birthday. A video shared by paparazzo Viral Bhayani shows Gauri Spratt first stepping out of the car, holding a huge pillow. She then quickly made her way to the airport gate. Meanwhile, Aamir Khan stepped out after her. While he also seemed to be in a hurry, he did happily pose for pictures with his fans who approached him. Both Gauri and Aamir rocked comfortable and casual airport looks. While Gauri donned a blue short kurti with denim jeans, Aamir was also seen in a red printed kurta with jeans. Check out the video below! View this post on Instagram A post shared by Viral Bhayani (@viralbhayani) Recently, in a conversation with Raj Shamani, Aamir admitted that following his divorce from Kiran Rao in 2021, he wasn't looking to fall in love again. 'Before I met Gauri, I felt like I had aged… Who will I find at this age?" Aamir reflected. 'Therapy really helped me understand that I needed to love myself first. I had to heal and work on my own emotional health." He further added, 'Gauri and I met by mistake. We connected, became friends… and love happened." Meanwhile, on the professional front, Aamir Khan will soon be seen in the film 'Sitaare Zameen Par', which also stars Genelia Deshmukh, and brings together a cast of 10 neurodivergent actors. In a conversation with News18 Showsha, Aamir explained that the story felt like a natural continuation of the message his 2007 film 'Taare Zameen Par' tried to deliver. 'The script felt like an extension of what we were trying to say in Taare. That film was about inclusion, about a child with a learning disability. But in Sitaare, the challenge is even greater. It deals with individuals who have intellectual disabilities—children on the autism spectrum, with Down syndrome—who are much more atypical compared to dyslexia. And what's even more beautiful is that this time, it's not the neurotypical person helping them, but the other way around. The neurodivergent kids help the coach. That's why I feel this film goes ten steps ahead in the same theme," he said. Sitaare Zameen Par is a sports comedy drama film directed by R. S. Prasanna, and produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit. It will release in theatres on June 20, 2025. First Published:

Toying around: Indians on the recent Labubu toy trend
If you've been doomscrolling through social media lately, chances are you've encountered the cute, yet eerie face of Labubu — the plush toy that the Internet is currently hooked on. Hanging from Ananya Panday's designer bag, featured on popular K-pop star Lisa's live streams, or unboxing videos of influencers trying to get a hold of the rare one they want, it is everywhere. 'Labubu has been popular in the Far East but has now become a global phenomenon. The past two months have seen a huge surge in their demand in India,' says Zohara Jamal, a popular lifestyle content creator. Subhashree Panneerselvam, a Chennai resident who recently visited Vietnam, corroborates. 'When I visited, I noticed Labubu toys being sold, especially at a store located inside a theme park. But I didn't know of the trend until I saw a reel on Instagram upon coming back. I regretted not having purchased one,' she shares. Fondly called 'ugly-cute' by fans, Labubu is a collectible character designed by Hong Kong-born artist Kasing Lung in 2015. Inspired by Nordic mythology, the character was initially featured in Lung's picture book series The Monsters, where Labubu is depicted as a mischievous, elf-like creature, with a toothy grin and a playful demeanour. Later, it gained widespread popularity through a collaboration with Chinese toy company Pop Mart, which introduced the character as part of its blind box collectible series — a popular release in which each toy is sold in a sealed package. Nikhil Jain, who resells these collectibles online under the banner Hype and collectibles, adds, 'Tier 1 cities in India — Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad — are blowing up now and ordering the toy. From Chennai, in fact, I get orders every day.' In the last six months, Hype and collectibles alone has sold around thousand Labubu toys and Nikhil estimates that at least one lakh Labubu toys could have been sold across online platforms, in India. Ayesha Alikhan, a psychologist, who has noticed people jumping on the bandwagon, says, 'I've been seeing many influencers carrying these dolls. I've also seen many kids as well as middle-aged women at UB City walking around with the dolls in their bags.' However, when the trend is assessed by the prices these toys fetch, India appears to be trailing behind the global craze. Dakshin Adyantha, co-founder (brand communications) of Ethinos, who has collected four Labubu toys so far from Mumbai, notes, 'The toys are priced as low as `3,000, which is still accessible to many. It is only when the demand surges will the prices go up further. That is how it works with collectables.'
