Recently, in a conversation with Raj Shamani, Aamir admitted that following his divorce from Kiran Rao in 2021, he wasn't looking to fall in love again. 'Before I met Gauri, I felt like I had aged… Who will I find at this age?" Aamir reflected. 'Therapy really helped me understand that I needed to love myself first. I had to heal and work on my own emotional health." He further added, 'Gauri and I met by mistake. We connected, became friends… and love happened."
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Aamir Khan will soon be seen in the film 'Sitaare Zameen Par', which also stars Genelia Deshmukh, and brings together a cast of 10 neurodivergent actors. In a conversation with News18 Showsha, Aamir explained that the story felt like a natural continuation of the message his 2007 film 'Taare Zameen Par' tried to deliver.
'The script felt like an extension of what we were trying to say in Taare. That film was about inclusion, about a child with a learning disability. But in Sitaare, the challenge is even greater. It deals with individuals who have intellectual disabilities—children on the autism spectrum, with Down syndrome—who are much more atypical compared to dyslexia. And what's even more beautiful is that this time, it's not the neurotypical person helping them, but the other way around. The neurodivergent kids help the coach. That's why I feel this film goes ten steps ahead in the same theme," he said.
Sitaare Zameen Par is a sports comedy drama film directed by R. S. Prasanna, and produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit. It will release in theatres on June 20, 2025.

Hans Zimmer Brings In Reference Of Mahatma Gandhi To Fight Trump's ICE Raids: 'Demonstrate Non-Violence'
Zimmer in an Instagram post brought in the reference of Mahatma Gandhi and urged the protestors to demonstrate non-violence and peaceful protest. Hans Zimmer, a two-time Oscar-winning composer, on Thursday accused US President Donald Trump of planting violent protesters in peaceful protests to escalate the situation. Zimmer in an Instagram post brought in the reference of Mahatma Gandhi, one of the greatest apostle of peace in the world, and urged the protestors to demonstrate non-violence and peaceful protest despite the President trying to hamper the situation. Taking to Instagram, the German film composer wrote, 'I fear the Trump administration will plant violent protesters among our peaceful protests. They will use this as an excuse to use force against us." He further elaborated on what protestors can do to continue with their peaceful demonstration. 'The moment violence or property damage begins, EVERY OTHER PROTESTER must immediately sit on the floor or the ground in silence, with signs down. The media needs to film this. This will reveal paid fake thugs posing as protesters becoming violent. The sitting down must spread like a 'wave" in a football stadium throughout the crowd of protesters." 'Local police officers will immediately see WHO is doing the damage, and the rest of us will demonstrate our non-violent innocence and retain our Constitutional right to peaceful protest," he added The film composer then used hashtags mentioning Mahatma Gandhi and passive resistance. Protests In Across US Los Angeles on Thursday entered seventh day of protests that have been largely peaceful but occasionally punctuated by violence. The protests broke out last Friday in response to a series of immigration raids. Trump, in turn, called in the National Guard on Saturday, then summoned the Marines on Monday. 'If I didn't act quickly on that, Los Angeles would be burning to the ground right now," said Trump at an event at the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Similar protests have popped up across the US, including in New York, Seattle, Chicago, Austin, Las Vegas and Washington, DC. The mayor of Spokane, Washington, announced a state of emergency and a curfew after protesters blocked roads to protest the Immigration and Customs Enforcement activity. Aamir Khan, SRK, Ranbir's CA reveals who's got the sharpest financial brain. It is an actress
Bimal Parekh with Ranbir Kapoor. (Pic courtesy- ISL- Indian Super League FB) About Bimal Parekh Behind every Bollywood blockbuster and superstar paycheck, there's a quiet powerhouse who makes sure the numbers add up — and for over four decades, that man has been Bimal Parekh . Known as the financial brain behind stars like Aamir Khan Katrina Kaif , and Ranbir Kapoor , Parekh isn't just a chartered accountant — he's the industry's go-to financial whisperer. But when it comes to sharp money minds, the celebrity he rates the highest is one of the top actresses of the industry. Can you guess who?In a recent chat with The Hollywood Reporter, Parekh revealed that among all his high-profile clients, it's Katrina Kaif who has the keenest financial acumen. According to him, the Ek Tha Tiger actress takes an interest, noting that while actors like Aamir and Ranbir Kapoor are less "bothered" in the day-to-day money matters, Katrina stays hands-on. Parekh also praised Ritesh Sidhwani and The Family Man's Krishna DK (of the Raj & DK duo), calling them financially savvy as journey began in the mid-1980s at a CA firm that managed the accounts of legends like Zeenat Aman and B.R. Chopra. When he branched out on his own, his boss handed him two key clients: Zeenat and a young debutant named Aamir Khan. That single handoff would mark the beginning of one of the most trusted relationships in the film industry. As Aamir gained stardom, so did Parekh's client list — with Juhi Chawla, Farhan Akhtar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ashutosh Gowariker, and even Shah Rukh Khan eventually coming on guided the finances of not just individual stars but entire production powerhouses like Excel Entertainment, Tiger Baby, Bhansali Productions, and more, Parekh has helped redefine how Bollywood approaches business. He revealed that he and his team pioneered the now-famous backend profit-sharing model in Bollywood, first experimenting with Aamir Khan's films. Rather than charging an upfront fee, Aamir opted for a share in the profits — a move that paid off massively during Dangal and ensured Laal Singh Chaddha didn't leave its studio in the red, even if Aamir himself earned less. He is now a name revered across the corridors of Bollywood's elite.
