Royal Insiders Reveal One Major Benefit Prince Louis Has as Prince William & Kate Middleton's Youngest Child
Being fourth in line to the British throne has its benefits for Prince Louis, the 7-year-old son of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The little boy has two older siblings — so if there is an heir and a spare, he would be the spare's spare — but still, royal insiders say he has one distinct advantage over his brother Prince George, 12, and sister Princess Charlotte, 10. Princess Kate has long been praised for her ability to laugh off her youngest child's antics, and experts think this has something to do with the fact that Louis is the youngest. Parenting expert Sophie David recently told Hello, 'The Princess of Wales shows us how important it is to nurture a child's playful side, even in formal settings.' More from SheKnows Prince George Steals the Show in an Adorably Candid New Video of the Royal Siblings 'With Prince Louis, we often see her giving him the freedom to be cheeky, giggle, and explore the world around him,' she continued. 'Kate's warmth and gentle encouragement remind us that playfulness is at the heart of childhood, and it's lovely to see Louis' cheeky, happy side shine through wherever he goes.' One reason the Princess of Wales stays calm is because the eyes of the world are on her. Not to mention, there is so much less pressure with Prince Louis than, say, with Prince George, who is next in line to the throne after his father. 'The youngest child arrives into a ready-made family dynamic, so they benefit from socializing with older siblings and develop social and communication skills early on,' royal insider Alicia Eaton told the outlet. She added that the parents' confidence impacts the youngest child as well. 'The sense of calm and confidence [with the youngest] creates a reassuring environment, allowing the youngest child to thrive with a greater sense of security. This then leads to a more playful and relaxed relationship with parents.' In other words, this is not William and Kate's first rodeo, and they don't seem as stressed about how their young child acts now. Psychologists have long debated on whether birth order makes a difference for siblings. One 2015 study found that firstborns scored higher on intelligence tests; however, there were no birth-order impact on extraversion, emotional stability, agreeableness, conscientiousness, or imagination. As the eldest daughter and second-born out of a family of six kids, I definitely feel more responsible than my younger siblings. This might have something to do with the fact that I was helping take care of them as they grew up and they were allowed to be carefree kids, plus my parents seemed to mellow out as they got older. Now that I have three kids, I can see how you get less anxious and care less about little things the more children you have. So, if Middleton gives Louis a longer rein, I get it. Even though his birth order probably isn't responsible for his silly and laidback personality, it may have something to do with giving him the experience of more laidback parents. Or it could be that they are intentionally harder on George and even Charlotte, as they're closer to the line of succession. This doesn't necessarily seem to be the case, though. Commentator Kinsey Schofield told Daily Star in 2023 that the Waleses are 'determined to break the heir and the spare cycle' like the one Prince William and Prince Harry had. 'I don't believe the word 'spare' has ever been uttered inside their home to describe one or more of their babies,' Schofield added. 'It is just not on their radar. They wanted to have a large loving family.' 'William and Catherine are teaching their children about royal responsibilities through doing them,' Schofield told the outlet, adding that Middleton 'seems affectionate, supportive, and engaging as a mother.'Best of SheKnows How to Watch These 25 Halloween Movies on Disney+ for Summerween Antics The Dumbest (and Deadliest) TikTok Trends Targeting Teens & Tweens Aquaman, Wolf Monte, & More Unique Celebrity Baby Names Solve the daily Crossword

Meghan Markle Accused Of Being A 'Fraud' In Blistering Remarks By Top US Brand Experts
Two branding experts have criticized Meghan Markle following the launch of her As Ever brand. The Duchess of Sussex officially launched the new brand in early April, and in less than an hour, multiple products were sold out. Despite the initial success of the brand and its recent restocking of sold-out products, experts claim it lacks authenticity, suggesting that it is primarily about Meghan Markle maximizing value from her royal marriage and "Suits" fame. Meghan Markle Is Trying To Maximise Her Fame, Says Expert Months after Meghan launched her highly anticipated brand, As Ever, Canadian lawyer Phillip Millar and California marketing executive Camille Moore have taken aim at both the brand and its founder in a lengthy rant on their "The Art of the Brand" podcast. Millar claimed that the lifestyle brand is being "run by a confederacy of dunces" and that the sole purpose behind it is to help Meghan get the maximum value from her "fame that came from Suits and being a part of the Royal Family." Expanding on his criticism of Meghan, Millar dismissed her as "not substantial" before explaining the reasons behind his harsh views. He said, "I'm agitated by her so much because it is a deliberate misrepresentation of what she is because she thinks she can pretend to be that while actually being this and sucker people into buying her stuff, and every step of the way, she's failing because it's not legitimate. It's not intelligent. It's not well executed." The Expert Branded The Duchess Of Sussex As A 'Fraud' Meghan's As Ever brand had launched earlier in the year, after facing multiple delays, including a name change. Looking back on the launch, Millar claimed that there was "nothing about her brand that was good from the start to a distinguishing eye," and despite the duchess selling out most of the products, he branded her as a "fraud" who "was just using opportunities to advance herself." "Her brand wasn't one built on substance," Millar noted, per the Daily Mail. "It was based on using people. He added, "They're not executing anything well on any show on anything. But it shows how gullible a lot of consumers are." Meghan Markle's Lifestyle Venture Was Labeled The 'Worst Brand Execution To Date' After Millar's brutal rant about Meghan's business, Moore also slammed the duchess's lifestyle business, calling As Ever the "worst brand execution to date." The marketing executive questioned the former actress's involvement in the brand creation and its running. "She's had zero ownership in this business. It's effectively like she's just like labeling her brand," Moore said about the mother of two. "I feel like she's doing such a brutal or good job, depending on how you're looking at it, of getting this like free PR and then absolutely sh-ting the bed," she added. Meghan Markle Recently Restocked Her As Ever Products Despite the criticism, As Ever has proven to be a success for Meghan, as she followed up her April launch with a restock of items last month, per the Daily Mail. In a post teasing the launch, the former actress assured her fans that she was bringing back all her favorites, alongside "some delicious surprises." These surprises later turned out to be two new flavors of her flagship jam: apricot spread and orange blossom hominy. The "Suits" alum later released another product, rosé wine, which was described as having notes of stone fruit with gentle minerality. Other products that returned to the shelves include three different herbal teas (hibiscus, lemon ginger, and peppermint), flower sprinkles, crepe baking mix, and shortbread cookie mix. The 'Suits' Star Admitted She 'Sometimes' Misses Acting With Meghan's life now increasingly focused on being a high-profile female founder, it seems unlikely that she would return to the big screen in a traditional acting role. However, last month, she did admit that she "sometimes" misses her former profession when she appeared on the "Aspire with Emma Grede" podcast, per Fox News. At the time, she also noted that her Netflix lifestyle show, "With Love, Meghan," allowed her to get back a taste of what she missed from her previous life. "Actually, having a large team, being back on set with 'With Love, Meghan' was great because I realized how much I had missed my crew," Meghan told her host, referencing her time on "Suits. She added, "I loved the crew. So I think for me, having the [Netflix] series, even though it wasn't scripted, was really great to get that piece back, but then also building my own business. You have a team, and that's really what I was craving as well." Solve the daily Crossword

Diana Hauntingly Predicted a ‘Difficult Path' for Harry Decades Before William Will Reportedly ‘Never Ever' Forgive His Brother
Princess Diana feared a comparison between Harry and William during their childhood. The late mother of the royal brothers didn't want Harry to go to his brother's alma mater because of tensions. According to Diana's former royal butler Paul Burrell, she wanted them to have a normal childhood where they were treated fairly and was apprehensive of sending them to the same school, Eton College. 'Even when it came to school, [Diana] worried that Harry would constantly be compared to his brother and judged by William's standards,' Burrell told for 'When they went to Eton, Diana didn't want Harry to attend Eton; she knew that he would be compared to William, who had gone before him.' More from StyleCaster Princess Anne Proves Place as Senior Royal After Reports William Is Planning to 'Overhaul' Palace With Younger Members Once He's King Harry & Charles' In-Person Reconciliation Officially Sets Date as Sources Reveal if Meghan's Husband Also Plans to See 'Furious' William 'William is much brighter, and he excelled; Harry wasn't and didn't. And so, she knew it would be a difficult path for Harry,' Burrell recounted his tensions with his brother at Eton College in his memoir Spare. 'They'd [teachers] always say the same thing: 'Don't worry, you'll be all right. And don't forget you always have your brother here!' But I wasn't the one forgetting. Willy told me to pretend I didn't know him,' the Invictus Games founder wrote. He later recounted that William was the popular kid before he entered the college. 'For the last two years, he explained, Eton had been his sanctuary. No kid brother tagging along, pestering him with questions, pushing up on his social circle. He was forging his own life, and he wasn't willing to give that up.' The revelation from Burrell comes after it was reported that Harry wants reconciliation with his family. Recently, King Charles and Prince Harry's senior aides held a secret meeting, according to The Mail on Sunday. According to The Sun, it was Harry who gave his press reps, Meredith Maines and Liam Maguire, the green light to meet with the cancer-stricken king's secretary, Tobyn Andreae. A friend of Kate and William told the Daily Mail, 'It's no coincidence that William and Catherine did not have a representative at the Royal Over-Seas League. They were not asked to send anyone, and will be treating the talks with extreme caution. The fact that it ended up in the newspapers tells you all you need to know.' However, William seems to be seething at the fact that his brother wants to re-enter royal family life. 'He absolutely f—ing hates' his brother Harry, with the same source saying that, 'William will never, ever forgive Harry for what he has done. Charles is the king; he can do what he likes. But make no mistake: William believes with every fiber of his being that giving Harry and Meghan back any royal imprimatur is a huge mistake.' A source recently told The Mirror, 'Harry is seriously worried that when his father dies one day, William will literally banish him and he will have no status in Britain at all. He will be persona non grata.'
