Diddy's former stylist makes unprompted claim he set Cassie up with Hollywood star Michael B Jordan
Sean 'Diddy' Combs's former stylist was keen for the court to know that he allegedly played matchmaker for Cassie Ventura and Hollywood A-lister Michael B Jordan.
Deonte Nash did not wait for the defense attorney to finish their question on Thursday, before offering up the information unprompted to the court.
The celebrity stylist, who worked for both Combs and Ventura, was being cross-examined about events in 2015, when Ventura was in South Africa shooting a film.
As attorney Xavier Donaldson began a question about how Ventura got approval from Combs to shoot the film, Nash cut him off, replying: 'Yes, I did hook her up with Michael B. Jordan. I know where we're going with this,' according to the Washington Post.
'He fine, she fine. I mean why not?' he added.
Judge Arun Subramanian told Nash to wait for attorneys to finish their questions before offering information.
Nash said that while on the South African shoot, Ventura had found out that Combs had been with another woman, referred to as Gina, but was not as jealous as the defense had previously suggested.
'Honestly, she wasn't that pressed about Gina,' he said.
Gina is the pseudonym that one of Combs' alleged victims is being referred to at trial. She had been slated to testify but had a change of heart in the lead up to trial.
However, he said, she was concerned about the impact of Combs 'running around with other women' might have on her career.
Jealousy may have run the other way however, Nash testified, claiming that Combs contacted him and Ventura when he discovered she was dating Jordan.
On Wednesday, Nash testified that he witnessed Combs' violence against his ex-girlfriend firsthand, saying that he and Ventura hid from Combs "too many times to count.'
Combs is facing sex trafficking, transportation to engage in prostitution, and racketeering conspiracy charges.
The mogul was arrested in September 2024 as federal authorities alleged he threatened, abused, and coerced victims 'to fulfill his sexual desires' between 2004 and 2024. Combs has denied any accusations of wrongdoing.

Eddy Garcia, the hotel's security supervisor, testified that Diddy and his team desperately wanted to get the sole copy of the video and prevent it from getting out. In exchange for $100,000 divided among members of the hotel's security team, Garcia said, he signed a nondisclosure agreement that called for his silence and the destruction of evidence. Here's what else to know about today's testimony: Garcia testified that he was so 'nervous' about the NDA that he didn't read it all before he signed it. Diddy presented stacks of cash in a brown paper bag, added Garcia, who said he bought a used car with his $30,000 share. Garcia also said he wasn't initially truthful to police when he was asked about the assault. On cross-examination, the defense pointed out the NDA didn't stop Garcia from speaking about it in legal proceedings, a line of questioning presumably intended to undermine the government's potential claim of obstruction of justice. Prosecutors also complained to Subramanian that a person who had been in the courtroom Monday broadcast on YouTube the real identity of a government witness, who went by the pseudonym 'Mia' when she testified. Suddenly, a woman in the courtroom began shouting in defense of Diddy, including that 'it's not right what they're doing to him' and 'Diddy's innocent.' She was quickly removed. Prosecutors later told Subramanian that the true name and identity of 'Mia' were being reported and asked for him to ban the outlet that made them public from the court. Imane Khelif breaks silence after leaked medical report ‘proves Olympic gender-row boxer is a biological male'
IMANE KHELIF has issued a response after a leaked medical report claimed the gold medal-winning Olympian was a "biological male". Khelif, 26, won Algeria's first-ever female gold medal in boxing during the Paris Games in 2024. 2 However, during Khelif's run to the final, she was embroiled in a bitter gender row after being banned from International Boxing Association competition in 2023. The IBA banned Khelif after tests taken in New Delhi allegedly produced the DNA of a 'male'. The IOC - who replaced the IBA as the Olympic's boxing governing body - were warned about the tests and urged to remove Khelif from the competition. But Khelif was allowed to box in Paris because of her female passport status. Now, the alleged sex-test results from the 2023 World Championships have been published for the first time by 3 Wire Sports, and suggest the boxer is biologically male. American journalist Alan Abrahamson produced the result of a test said to have been carried out on the boxer in New Delhi in March 2023 - which triggered the boxer's disqualification. The document published summarises the findings on Khelif as 'abnormal', stating: 'Chromosome analysis reveals male karyotype." A karyotype refers to an individual's complete set of chromosomes, which in Khelif's case has been reported by (IBA) as being XY, the male pattern. Khelif refused to respond directly to the claims in a social media post on Monday, instead focusing on her work as a Unicef ambassador - a role she has held since January 2024. The post featured a photo of Khelif wearing a blue polo bearing the organisation's logo as she made a heart symbol with her hands to celebrate the "Global Day of Parents". The alleged test results disputing Khelif's gender carry the letterhead of Dr Lal PathLabs in New Delhi, accredited by the American College of Pathologists and certified by the Swiss-based International Organisation for Standardisation. This directly challenges what IOC spokesman Mark Adams said in a tense news conference at the Paris Olympics. He described the results that saw Khelif banned as 'ad hoc' and 'not legitimate'. IOC president Thomas Bach even claimed that the results are the product of a Russian-led misinformation campaign. It followed after the IBA - headed by Russia's Umar Kremlev - had been stripped of IOC recognition in a row over ethics and financial management. Khelif has always denied being a biological male and even named JK Rowling and Elon Musk in a cyberbullying lawsuit. And the 26-year-old has vowed to fight on, even eyeing another gold at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. But World Boxing has ruled that Khelif is ineligible to enter future events as a woman without first submitting to the same chromosome testing that has already triggered the boxer's disqualification at global level. The governing body - provisionally approved to run Olympic boxing in LA - announced that all athletes in its competitions over 18 years old must undergo a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) genetic test to determine their sex. The test detects chromosomal material through a mouth swab, saliva or blood. Khelif has failed to provide any evidence of having female chromosomes in the nine months since the gender scandal erupted. In February, Khelif spoke out in her defence and wrote: 'For two years, I have taken the high road while my name and image have been used, unauthorised, to further personal and political agendas through the spreading and dissemination of baseless lies and misinformation. But silence is no longer an option. 'The IBA, an organisation that I am no longer associated with and which is no longer recognised by the IOC, have again made baseless accusations that are false and offensive, using them to further their agenda... 'My team is carefully reviewing the situation and will take all necessary legal steps to ensure that my rights and the principles of fair competition are upheld." An IOC spokesperson told Sun Sport: "The IOC has always made it clear that eligibility criteria are the responsibility of the respective International Federation. "The factors that matter to sports performance are unique to each sport, discipline, and/or event. "We await the full details how sex testing will be implemented in a safe, fair and legally enforceable way."

A former escort forced to have sex with Cassie Ventura at Diddy's notorious freak-off parties has broken his silence to give 'some credence' to her testimony. Ventura took the stand as a star witness in Sean ' Diddy ' Combs' sex trafficking trial, breaking down in tears as she told how she was forced to participate in elaborately choreographed sex marathons that routinely involved male escorts. Shawn Dearing was among the more than 10 men hired to perform at Diddy's parties, it was revealed during the R&B singer's testimony. Dearing, known professionally as 'Skyler', never intended to share this story, but has decided to speak out now that his photo and alias have been made public. He claims he was hired for 'more than a dozen' sex sessions with Ventura and Combs after having met the couple in late 2014 or early 2015. Dearing, in an interview with People Magazine, revealed that although he never saw Combs physically abuse Ventura, he allegedly witnessed 'psychological' abuse and could tell the singer was 'there under Diddy's control'. 'We did everything under his direction,' he said of the freak-offs, adding there was a 'constant energy of knowing that we must perform for him or else'. Dearing, 37, hailed Ventura - who accuses Combs of harrowing abuse, coercion and rape - as 'uplifting' and a 'bad*** lady' who was 'genuine throughout the whole experience'. Dearing's involvement in the freak-offs was made public during Ventura's testimony last month. She told the court that Dearing, whom she knew as Skyler, was one of several males escorts that she hired through the website Cowboys4Angels. The R&B singer, 38, also testified that 'I had to do 'Freak Offs'', alleging she did not want to participate in the sex parties. Dearing has seemingly backed Ventura's claims, describing in the interview how she was like 'a drone' during the parties, which the former escort says took place at both the Beverly Hills Hotel and a private condo on Los Angeles' famed Sunset Blvd. He said that although Combs 'never touched me', he and Ventura engaged in sexual activity 'under his direction'. He claimed Ventura refused to speak when the rapper would leave the room, alleging how he when he once tried to ask her question, the singer replied: 'No, no, no. Not until he gets back.' The model suggested Ventura did not want to participate in the freak-offs, claiming that her demeanor would change when the sessions turned 'dark'. 'You could see that it was kind of like the spirit was leaving the body,' he told People. Dearing also claimed there was a 'knowing and understanding' that Ventura would face 'consequences' if she did follow Diddy's orders - but also admitted he did not know what those consequences were. He added that 'I what's best for [Ventura]' and 'I want her respect first and foremost'. Ventura remained largely composed during her testimony, but at times openly wept as she recounted degrading sex parties she said Combs coerced her into for years, at times weekly. Combs would direct her to take drugs before the sex marathons, Ventura told the court. She claimed the drugs were a 'buffer' to withstand the 'humiliating' and often-filmed sexual encounters. The jury was repeatedly shown disturbing surveillance footage of Combs brutally beating and dragging Ventura, which she alleged was a regular experience. The defense acknowledged violence played a role in the relationship but said both of them were party to it. They showed jurors reams of text messages in a bid to cast Ventura as a willing participant in the freak-offs. Their relationship was tumultuous and had toxic qualities, the defense admitted, but they showed loving - and sexually graphic - texts to indicate that it was still based on a foundation of love. Ventura didn't deny that, but she said that love, along with her reputation and career, was also a chip the rap mogul played to control her and force her into freak-offs against her will. Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to five counts including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. Federal prosecutors in Manhattan say Combs over two decades coerced women, including Ventura, to take part in drug-fueled sexual performances with male sex workers known as 'Freak Offs.' The trial is in its fourth week. Combs' lawyers have acknowledged he was at times abusive in domestic relationships, but argue that women who took part in 'Freak Offs' did so consensually.
