Erling Haaland responds to Myles Lewis-Skelly six months after being 'mocked'
Haaland, 25, and Lewis-Skelly, 18, have had beef since the heated 2-2 Premier League draw between Arsenal and City in September 2024.
The match between the two title rivals saw Lewis-Skelly make his Arsenal debut with Haaland turning to him and shouting: 'Who the f*** are you?'
Lewis-Skelly got revenge over Haaland when Arsenal smashed City 5-1 in February, copying the Norwegian's lotus celebration after scoring a goal.
After the clash, Lewis-Skelly shared a 'keep it humble' message on his Instagram – in a collaboration with Adidas – in what was a reference to Haaland previously telling his manager Mikel Arteta to 'stay humble'.

Haaland has now finally responded to the English teenager in a new interview, telling TIME: 'They won the game 5-1. So yeah, they got me.
'If he wanted to use that moment to mock me, that's fair enough for him. Whatever he wants to do, he can do.'
Quizzed about his now infamous 'stay humble' dig at Arteta in September 2024, Haaland vowed to continue using the phrase.
'I think it's an important phrase, which a lot of people should use, including myself,' Haaland added.
'It's one of the most important things, as individuals, to do.'
Since moving to City in the summer of 2022, Haaland has won two Premier League titles, the Champions League, the FA Cup, the Community Shield and the Super Cup.
Haaland, widely regarded as one of the best strikers on the planet, has scored an incredible tally of 124 goals across 146 games for City.
Lewis-Skelly, meanwhile, is considered as one of the best young players in English football.
He made his Arsenal debut last year and has played 39 games for the club, having progressed through the Hale End academy. He has not yet landed a trophy in his senior career.
Arsenal and City have developed somewhat of a rivalry after fighting each other for the Premier League trophy in recent seasons, although it was Liverpool who were crowned champions of England last term. More Trending
Arteta's team finished as Premier League runners-up to City in both 2023 and 2024. In 2025, Arsenal finished second again and City were third.
The next time Arsenal face City is on September 21 as the Gunners host Pep Guardiola's side at the Emirates.
They are then set to meet again for the reverse fixture at the Etihad on April 18.

Liverpool would not cruise to title even with Alexander Isak
The Reds won the league by 10 points last season and have since splurged almost £300million on new signings. They have also had a £110m offer for Isak turned down by Newcastle, but the Sweden striker's future is still up in the air. Asked whether he thought Liverpool were likely to end up successful in their pursuit of Isak, Sky Sports pundit and former Reds defender Carragher said: 'Yeah, I think so, but I don't get this narrative of Liverpool are going to run away with it.' Carragher pointed to Liverpool's Community Shield defeat by Crystal Palace as evidence that the likes of Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez and Hugo Ekitike will take time to click. 'If you look at history, it could tell you that it's not just about having the best players, it's about having the best team, and sort of making that balance right, and at the weekend it didn't quite look right,' he said. 'I think we will have a title race, and I think there's a lot of talk. I think the great thing about football is what we actually saw on Sunday with Liverpool. It didn't look right. 'It tells me it's not just about spending lots of money and buying the best players, you've still got to manage that team and make it work and have a nice balance to it.' However, former Manchester United full-back Gary Neville believes landing Isak would make Liverpool big favourites to retain the title. 'Liverpool won it really comfortably last year and have had a great transfer window,' he said at the launch of Sky Sports' Premier League coverage. 'If they get Isak, which it looks like he's agitating for a move, then it will make them massive favourites. But Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, I think will push them closer than last year.'
