Directed by Anuraj Manohar, Narivetta unravels a gripping tale of ambition, justice, and inner conflict. As layers of political intrigue and personal transformation unfold, the film holds viewers in its grip until the very end.
The official announcement came with a powerful poster shared by SonyLIV on X (formerly Twitter), captioned: 'The journey of a man like no other, a true seeker for justice. Watch #Narivetta from July 11 only on Sony LIV."
Tovino Thomas plays CPO Varghese Peter with remarkable intensity, while Suraj Venjaramoodu essays the role of Head Constable Basheer Ahammed. The film also stars Cheram as DIG Raghuram Keshavadas IPS, Pranav Teophine as Thaami, Arya Salim as C. K. Shanthi, Priyamvada Krishnan as Sofiya, Rini Udayakumar, Nandhu as Joseph, Dr. Vijesh Lee as Army Officer Daya Narayan, and Shahi Kabir as a Police Officer.
The screenplay is penned by Abin Joseph, with a pulsating score by Jakes Bejoy. The cinematography, helmed by Vijay, complements the narrative's grit and realism, while editors Shameer Muhammed and Muhammad Sanoober keep the pace razor-sharp.
Narivetta is produced by Tippushan and Shiyas Hassan under the Indian Cinema Company banner and is all set to reach a wider audience via OTT. If you missed it in theatres, now's your chance to witness one of the most impactful Malayalam political thrillers of the year.

A 25-year-old cardiac nurse from NYC with Dominican roots, she brought a mix of quick wit, emotional honesty, and zero tolerance for games. She was initially paired with Ace, who made it clear he wasn't fully open to the connection and eventually chose Chelley instead. But rather than letting that shake her, Amaya held her ground with grace and honesty—quickly becoming a fan favorite for her straightforwardness and emotional maturity. Bryan, 27, came in during Casa Amor, but his impact was instant. A proud Puerto Rican-Guatemalan from Boston, he formed a connection with Amaya after Zak Srakew left, and it felt different from the rest—genuine, grounded, and refreshingly low-drama. Now while Amaya's win has been called deserving by many, several fans believe Bryan did not deserve to win, arguing he has not done one romantic thing for her. One user wrote, "I have one more thing to say … Bryan has not done one romantic thing for Amaya but give her some kisses... I guess 😂 but that's who y'all wanted to win." i have one more thing to say … Bryan has not done one romantic thing for Amaya but give her some kisses .. i guess 😂 but that's who yall wanted to win 😩 Another fan added, "Amaya And Bryan Only Won Because People Liked Amaya More Than Bryan."
