Ms Southern alleges the self-proclaimed misogynist, who lives in the Romanian capital with his brother Tristan, refused to stop making sexual advances towards her after a night out.
The allegations stem back to 2018 and were outlined in Ms Southern's recent memoir, This is Not Real Life.
Tate, 38, responded by suggesting the accusations were because Ms Southern "needs book sales".
The controversial YouTuber, who has over 700,000 subscribers, claims Tate drove her to a steakhouse in his "polished sports car" and was "flirtatious" for most of the short journey.

But Ms Southern says his charm soon dwindled with their conversation starting to "feel off".
She went on to say that the pair didn't speak one-on-one for some time as she joined up with Robinson's team to speak about funding a media startup.
After the meeting, Tate offered the team to come back to his notorious Romanian compound.
Ms Southern says she returned to her hotel room a few hours afterwards before Tate messaged her asking to meet up again.
Later that night, the Canadian woman went back to the compound before going to a nightclub with the Tate's team.
Ms Southern claims she was assured Robinson and the rest of his media team would be arriving to the club but they never showed.

She then recalls feeling "incredibly intoxicated" by the end of the evening and even vomited at one point.
Tate then allegedly drove her back to her hotel where he carried her up to her room.
Ms Southern then accuses Tate of suddenly kissing her.
She alleged in the memoir: "I kissed him back briefly and then told him I wanted to sleep.
"I said no, very clearly, multiple times, and tried to pull his hands off me.
"He put his arm around my neck and began strangling me unconscious."
She claims she tried to fight back but was repeatedly attacked.
"I'd prefer not to share the rest. It's pretty obvious," she concluded.

Andrew and his brother Tristan face various allegations in Romania and the UK for sexual aggression and human trafficking
Credit: AFP
Tate is yet to formally deny the allegations but he did post on X referring to them.
He said: "Chooses the chapter about me to release 'for free' to get attention so she can sell her memoirs of promiscuity.
"Coincidence I'm sure."
In a reply to another X user, Tate wrote: "Was 10 years ago. Needs book sales I guess."
He then claimed that he has texts messages which appear to show Ms Southern "begging for money, for her 'company' and begging to see me again".
Tate's attorney Joseph McBride added that his client "unequivocally repudiates" the claims.
He added: "We shall pursue Southern relentlessly for defamation."
The allegation is the latest in a slew of cases against Andrew as well as Tristan.
Both face a number of criminal charges in both the UK and Romania.
Andrew is accused of ten charges in total.
This includes rape, actual bodily harm, human trafficking and controlling prostitution for gain against three women.
His brother, 36, is charged with 11 offences against one alleged victim - including rape, actual bodily harm and human trafficking.
The pair deny all of the charges.
Like the Tates, Ms Southern also has a chequered past.
In 2018 - the same year as the alleged rape - she was refused entry to the UK on racism grounds.
She handed out flyers in Luton that read "Allah is a gay god" outside a restaurant in the town centre.

Everything we know about Ibiza Rocks Hotel tragedies as two more Brits die

Four people have now died in recent months at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel in San Antonio on the party island which is popular with British youngsters for its music and parties A British teenager is the fourth person in recent months to have fallen at a 'death hotel' in Ibiza. ‌ Ibiza Rocks Hotel is a popular location in San Antonio on the party island especially for British tourists who flock there for its live music poolside which attracts top artists and DJs. But at the same time it is now becoming infamous and has been dubbed the 'death hotel' locally following the number of tourists now who have died at the hotel. For British youngsters heading over to the Spanish island for a good time, the hotel has a lot of attractions with the large pool, sun terraces, bars and entertainment. Tourists can be seen dancing on balconies with drinks and looking down at the music stage below. ‌ ‌ Tragically a 19-year-old from the UK has become the latest to die at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel after falling from a balcony. Two ambulances were sent to the scene but paramedics say there was nothing they could do to save him. The tragedy, which is being investigated by police, occurred just after midnight. He has not yet been named but is known to have fallen from the third floor of the hotel onto an outside part of the complex and a police investigation is underway. It is not yet clear if the teenage Brit was holidaying with friends or family and whether he fell from his room or another part of the hotel. ‌ The Ibiza Rocks hotel has now cancelled events while an investigation is underway. A statement read: 'We are deeply shocked and devastated by the recent incidents that have tragically occurred. Our priority is to support those affected and their loved ones during this incredibly difficult time and to fully assist the authorities with their investigations. 'The safety and wellbeing of our guests has and always will remain our highest priority. Given the seriousness of the situation and out of respect for those involved we believe it is right to pause our advertised events programme at this time. All customers will be informed directly via email.' It means that a daytime set by Dizzee Rascal and Songer intended to celebrate 20 years of Ibiza Rocks will not go ahead on July 23. ‌ Last year local media reported how hundreds of locals in Sant Antonio presented a complaint to the local government asking for checks to take place on the hotel as they alleged that it was not meeting standards such as over security, noise or sale of alcohol. A spokesperson for residents said that they had been complaining since 2008, reported Cadena Ser. The hotel is the same as where Evan Thomson, 26, from Aberdeen, died on July 7 while on holiday with pals celebrating his birthday. Paramedics were called to the scene but could do nothing to save him. ‌ His mum Lel Kellighan revealed the news on social media a few days after her son died, saying: 'I'm absolutely heartbroken to write and tell you all, earlier this week my son Evan was in a tragic accident whilst on holiday with his friends in Ibiza and sadly passed away. 'We are all absolutely broken. Please allow us some time.' In the days after Evan's death his loved ones raised questions about safety and blasted the hotel where he died over the way the situation was handled. ‌ Evan's sister Teila said: 'Ibiza is known for its partying and it just stuns me that they don't have higher safety precautions. Pray nobody else suffers. And, once it did happen, the hotel's response was just completely heartbreaking; almost as if it never happened. I pray no other family has to go through this." Friend Blair Robertson, 25, who had been with Evan before he died, said: 'Security took us away to front desk. Paramedics didn't arrive for about 30 minutes. Forensic officers didn't speak English. We were just standing there, not knowing what was going on. Reception gave us false hope." Remi Duncan, 23, said: 'It was disgusting. There was minimal respect for the situation, considering the music went back on soon after Evan had died. It puts a pit in your stomach.' ‌ In a statement after Evan died, the hotel said: 'This is a truly tragic and extremely sad situation. Our senior management team onsite did everything possible to help the police with their investigation into events leading up to Evan's death, and to provide constant support from our customer services manager to Evan's friends.' On April 30, a 33-year-old British woman died at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel. Local police and paramedics rushed to the hotel, situated just metres from one of the world 's most famous sunsets, after the alarm was raised around 6.30pm on April 30. Emergency responders confirmed when they arrived the holidaymaker had gone into cardiac arrest and spent around 40 minutes practicing CPR on her to try to revive her. She was declared dead at the scene after efforts to save her life proved sources said at the time there was nothing pointing to the death being suspicions and she is understood to have had a pre-existing heart condition. On April 27, a 19-year-old Italian tourist of Turkish origin plunged to her death from the fourth-floor at the same hotel. She had flown to the island the previous day and gone out partying. She was said at the time to have tried to been trying to reach her room via a balcony from a shared area of the hotel after realising she didn't have her key card when she lost her footing and fell. Her lifeless body was discovered around 9am. Hotel group said after the two deaths in April: 'In light of the tragic events that occurred this week, due to causes beyond our control, IRG (Ibiza Rocks Group) expresses its dismay and extends its utmost support to the families of the victims, and thanks everyone for respecting their privacy in the face of incalculable pain.' The hotel boasts on its website: 'A stay with us is anything but ordinary' It says in a website description: 'Perfectly located on Ibiza's west coast, just metres from the world's most famous sunset, our unique resort style hotel features over 360 rooms circled around our iconic open-air event venue. With recently upgraded public spaces, comprehensive facilities, and an extensive selection of food and drink options, a stay with us is anything but ordinary.' The Mirror has contacted Ibiza Rocks Hotel for comment.

Tourist deaths in Ibiza - three die in similar tragedies as Ibiza Rocks suspends events

A 19-year-old has died at Ibiza Rocks just days after Evan Thomson, from Aberdeen, fell to his death at the same hotel. A teenage British holidaymaker has died after plunging from the third floor at Ibiza Rocks - just two weeks after a Scots tourist died in similar circumstances. ‌ The 19-year-old died instantly in the fall at the four-star hotel at the island's party resort of San Antonio on Monday. Two ambulances were sent to the scene but paramedics say there was nothing they could do to save him. ‌ The tragedy, which is being investigated by police, occurred just after midnight, with the Civil Guard confirming this morning he was a British national. The hotel where the latest tragedy has occurred is the same one where Scots holidaymaker Evan Thomson fell to his death on July 7. ‌ The 26-year-old, from Aberdeen, was on holiday with pals celebrating his birthday. Paramedics were called to the scene but he was pronounced dead in the grounds of the hotel. Meanwhile, in August last year talented law student Emma Ramsay, from Hamilton, fell to her death from the sixth-floor of seafront four-star Hotel Vibra District in San Antonio. Following a number of tragedies at the resort in the last year, here's everything we know so far. ‌ Investigation launched News emerged this morning that a 19-year-old had died at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel. It is not yet clear who the teenage Brit was holidaying with and whether he fell from his room or another part of the hotel. Local officers have since confirmed in a statement an investigation has been launched following the tragedy. ‌ A spokesman for the Civil Guard said: 'We are investigating the death of a 19-year-old British man at a hotel in San Antonio in Ibiza. The alarm was raised around 12.40am this morning. 'Our officers were sent to the scene but the man in question was already dead by the time help arrived. The fall was from the third floor of the hotel to an outside part of the complex. 'Court officials authorised the removal of his body at 2.40am this morning. The fall could be accidental based on the early information obtained from cameras but as part of the investigation possible witnesses will need to be located and interviewed. The results of the post-mortem will also be important to the investigation.' ‌ Tragedy days before The hotel where the latest tragedy has occurred is the same venue where a Scots holidaymaker fell to his death on July 7. Evan Thomson, 26, from Aberdeen, was on holiday with pals celebrating his birthday. ‌ Paramedics were called to the scene but he was pronounced dead in the grounds of the hotel. His mum Lel Kellighan revealed the news on social media a few days after her son died. She said: 'I'm absolutely heartbroken to write and tell you all, earlier this week my son Evan was in a tragic accident whilst on holiday with his friends in Ibiza and sadly passed away. Concerns raised In the days after Evan's death his loved ones raised questions about safety and blasted the hotel where he died over the way the situation was handled. ‌ Evan's sister Teila said: 'Ibiza is known for its partying and it just stuns me that they don't have higher safety precautions. Pray nobody else suffers. And, once it did happen, the hotel's response was just completely heartbreaking; almost as if it never happened. I pray no other family has to go through this." Friends who were with Evan claimed the hotel resumed normal operations just 90 minutes after his death. Blair Robertson, 25, had flown out the day before the tragedy and spent the night celebrating. He described their final night out as one of the best they had ever had together. ‌ At around 6am he discovered Evan was no longer in their hotel room. Moments later, the group realised he had fallen from the balcony at the hotel. Blair said: ' Security took us away to front desk. Paramedics didn't arrive for about 30 minutes. Forensic officers didn't speak English. We were just standing there, not knowing what was going on. Reception gave us false hope. "We heard the jet washes cleaning the ground where Evan died. That was the worst thing for us — how fast they tried to get things back to normal." ‌ Evan's girlfriend Remi Duncan, 23, added: 'It was disgusting. There was minimal respect for the situation, considering the music went back on soon after Evan had died. It puts a pit in your stomach.' Hotel statement Ibiza Rocks announced on Monday all scheduled events have been suspended in the wake of the two tragedies. ‌ A statement from the hotel on Monday afternoon read: "We are deeply shocked and devastated by the recent incidents that have tragically occurred. "Our priority is to support those affected and their loved ones during this incredibly difficult time, and to fully assist the authorities with their investigations. "The safety and wellbeing of our guests has, and always will remain, our highest priority. Given the seriousness of the situation and out of respect for those involved, we believe it is right to pause our advertised events programme at this time. ‌ "All customers will be informed directly via email." The hotel had previously released a statement in the wake of the death of Scottish holiday maker Evan Thomson. It read: 'This is a truly tragic and extremely sad situation. Our senior management team onsite did everything possible to help the police with their investigation into events leading up to Evan's death, and to provide constant support from our customer services manager to Evan's friends.' ‌ Other incidents this year In April, a 33-year-old British woman died at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel. Local police and paramedics rushed to the hotel, situated just metres from one of the world's most famous sunsets, after the alarm was raised around 6.30pm on April 30. Emergency responders confirmed when they arrived the holidaymaker had gone into cardiac arrest and spent around 40 minutes practicing CPR on her to try to revive her. She was declared dead at the scene after efforts to save her life proved unsuccessful. Well-placed sources said at the time there was nothing pointing to the death being suspicions. ‌ On April 27, a 19-year-old Italian tourist of Turkish origin plunged to her death from the fourth-floor at the same hotel. She had flown to the island the previous day and gone out partying. She was said at the time to have been trying to reach her room via a balcony from a shared area of the hotel after realising she didn't have her key card when she lost her footing and fell. Her lifeless body was discovered around 9am on April 27. And last Monday a 25-year-old British tourist died in hospital from injuries he sustained in a fall from a supermarket car park in San Antonio the previous day. ‌ He was rushed to an intensive care unit at a private island hospital following the incident. Emma Ramsay Emma, from Hamilton, tragically died after she plunged from the sixth-floor of seafront four-star Hotel Vibra District last August. ‌ Mercy crews raced to the resort in San Antonio but the 19-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. Her mum Barbara Smith later took to social media to pay tribute to her daughter and "best friend". The grieving parent shared a picture of Emma on Instagram. In a heartfelt message, Barbara said: 'My angel Emma I don't even know where to begin. "You are my daughter, my best friend in the whole world and I am going to miss you more than words will ever express. Rest in peace my sweet angel and sleep tight, mummy loves you so so much.' Emma, who had been studying at Strathclyde University, shared pictures and video on social media as she partied with friends in the hours before the horror incident took place. TikTok clips showed her dancing in front of the camera before a night out at Hï Ibiza club. In other footage and images, she is shown celebrating with pals in an elevator before heading out on the town and posing opposite Cafe Mambo on a balcony at Cafe Del Mar.

The smash occurred on Market Square in the centre of Melrose, Roxburghshire, on February 23, 2025. Cops were alerted around midnight when Taddei, a chief financial officer, smashed the top-of-the-range Ferrari 458 Spider. She failed a roadside breath test and was arrested and charged, before being taken to hospital with a suspected concussion. A urine test later showed that it contained 138 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitre of urine, over twice the legal amount of 67 milligrams of booze. Today, she pleaded guilty at Selkirk Sheriff Court to driving while over the limit. The court heard that the mother-of-four had walked to a friend's house with another pal to celebrate their new job. Arriving at the property around 8pm, Taddei's lawyer, Laurelle Johnstone, told the court that her client "shared two bottles of prosecco and her other friend had a bottle of wine." She added that Taddei "thinks she may have had a glass of wine on top of the prosecco". Ms Johnstone said: "The friend she walked there with became intoxicated and they left around 10.30pm to walk home. She [Taddei] knew she [her friend] was intoxicated but didn't realise how intoxicated she had become. Shock moment wedding guest convoy leaps out their supercars & erupt into bizarre road rage row "Her friend began to fall over after around 10 minutes. By that time, it was wet and dark and they had two dogs with them. "Ms Taddei was taking the lead and trying to support her friend. She was concerned about them walking over a pedestrian bridge over the river and then her friend fell again. "At that time, Ms Taddei panicked. She tried to call her mum and dad but they had also been drinking but offered to let her friend stay the night. When she tried to get her friend up to do that, she wasn't cooperative. "Her friend had a son and was anxious to get home." Ms Johnstone told the court that Taddei had called and messaged her parents and another friend between 10.44pm and 11.22pm. She said: "No one was able to assist and she got herself in a state of panic. She ran home with the dogs to get her car. "She said she put her friend in the recovery position on the grass and drove her husband's car. "She had driven it only once. It's a Ferrari and is particularly responsive. "Her husband had left it in sports mode. She drove back and only got one mile down the road before colliding with another vehicle. "She was in a state of panic. She was not thinking rationally and deeply regrets it. "When the car stopped, she became aware of six or seven people who came out of a pub. They were hurling abuse at her and she felt vulnerable. "She has been open and honest about the events. She attended the GP on the Monday morning and was diagnosed with whiplash. "She also suffered several panic attacks. This is a decision that is extremely out of character and she will suffer the consequences for a significant period of time." Ms Johnstone told the court that Taddei, from Melrose, has not driven since the crash. But the brief said that her client has an adult son with autism and her driving ban hampers the care she offers him during the week in Edinburgh. Ms Johnstone added that Taddei is a "woman who's never been in trouble with the police before" and handed a letter to Sheriff Sinclair that her client had written. She also told the court that, due to being intoxicated, her client's insurer wouldn't cover the damage to both vehicles. Ms Johnstone said she had already shelled out £50,000 for repairs to the Ferrari. Sentencing Taddei, Sheriff Sinclair ordered her to pay a fine of £900, down from £1,200. He also told her that her driving ban would be reduced from 12 months to 9 months if she completes a drink driving course. Taddei is co-founder of Mortgage Advice Bureau's network partner in Scotland. She has run the business as chief financial officer alongside her husband for around 20 years.
