The last few weeks of pregnancy can be a lot for a person to go through. Between being uncomfortable, losing that second trimester energy bump, and getting to the point you feel like you're going to pop — it gets rough. But, Cassie Venture made it through all of that, and a high-profile court case, before welcoming her third baby to the world. You can learn more about her new bundle of joy, as well as what she was doing two weeks prior to giving birth, below.

The 38-year-old welcomed a bouncing baby boy with her husband Alex Fine in mid-May. The birth was shared by a source who spoke with TMZ, and People magazine later confirmed the information.
This happy news comes just three months after Venture first announced she and her husband were expecting again, which she shared in a sweet Instagram post that featured a pregnant woman emoji, a blue heart, and the number three.
Of course, fans that have been following Venture's pregnancy know that it hasn't exactly been a quiet one. That's because the singer was among some of the more high-profile people called to testify in the criminal trial of Sean "Diddy" Combs.
Venture's testimony made headlines after she shared some of the harrowing things she said she experienced while in a long-term relationship with her ex. And while they were hard to hear, it had to be even harder for Venture to relive, especially since we now know that she was less than two weeks from giving birth when she shared the details of the former couple's intimate relationship.
But, with all of that behind her, and a new baby in her arms, it sounds like things are looking up for Venture and her family. Congrats to the newly minted family of five. Here's hoping things are extra quiet for a little bit!

Death toll from quarry collapse in Indonesia rises to 14

CIREBON, Indonesia (AP) — At least 14 people were killed after a quarry collapsed the previous day in Indonesia's West Java province, officials said Saturday. More than two dozen people were trapped in the rubble when the Gunung Kuda quarry in Cirebon district collapsed on Friday . Rescuers pulled a dozen injured people and 10 bodies from the debris during a grueling search effort. They retrieved three more bodies late Friday, and another worker died in hospital, bringing the death toll to 14, said the National Search and Rescue Agency in a statement. Five people have been hospitalized with serious injuries. Local television reports showed emergency personnel, along with police, soldiers and volunteers digging desperately in the quarry in a steep limestone cliff, supported by five excavators, early Saturday. Authorities said six to eight people are still believed to be trapped. The cause of the collapse is still under investigation, and police have been questioning six people including the owner of the quarry, said local police chief Sumarni. West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi said in a video statement on Instagram that he visited the quarry before he was elected in February and considered it dangerous. 'It did not meet the safety standard elements for its workers,' Mulyadi said, adding that at that time, 'I didn't have any capacity to stop it.' On Friday, Mulyadi said that he had ordered the quarry shut, as well as four other similar sites in West Java. Illegal or informal resource extraction operations are common in Indonesia, providing a tenuous livelihood to those who labor in conditions with a high risk of injury or death. Landslides, flooding and tunnel collapses are just some of the hazards associated with them. Much of the processing of sand, rocks or gold ore also involves the use of highly toxic mercury and cyanide by workers using little or no protection. Last year, a landslide triggered by torrential rains struck an unauthorized gold mining operation on Indonesia's Sumatra island, killing at least 15 people. ___ Associated Press writer Niniek Karmini in Jakarta, Indonesia, contributed to this report. Mexican band Grupo Firme cancels US show, saying their visas were suspended by Trump administration

MEXICO CITY (AP) — The popular Mexican regional music band Grupo Firme announced on Friday that it was canceling a performance in a music festival in California over the weekend after the United States government suspended the musicians' visas. It comes after the U.S. State Department has revoked visas of a number of Mexican musicians for playing a genre of music that it says glorifies cartel violence. The group, which has soared to international fame playing Mexican regional music, said in a statement posted on its Instagram account that the visas of them and their team are currently under 'administrative review by the U.S. Embassy" and that it would make it 'impossible' for them to perform in the La Onda Fest to be held in the city of Napa Valley, California on June 1. But the post didn't detail what it would mean in the long term for the musical group. The U.S. Embassy in Mexico said that visa cases are confidential according to U.S. law and couldn't provide more information on the case. The suspension is just the latest in a series of moves the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump has taken targeting Mexican artists in the genre, who in some cases have glorified the leaders of cartels as sort of Robin Hood figures. While the genre of 'narco-corridos' has stirred controversy, much of the music also speaks to the harsh realities facing Mexican youth caught in cartel violence. Two months ago, the Mexican musical group Los Alegres del Barranco was sanctioned after it projected images of the leader of the feared Jalisco New Generation Cartel at a concert in the western state of Jalisco. 'I'm a firm believer in freedom of expression, but that doesn't mean that expression should be free of consequences,' U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau said at the time. 'The last thing we need is a welcome mat for people who extol criminals and terrorists.'

Kylie Kelce Calls Out Those Who Say Maternity Leave is a 'Break'

Kylie Kelce Calls Out Those Who Say Maternity Leave is a 'Break' originally appeared on WeHaveKids. Those parents who are lucky enough to get to take maternity leave know how negatively some people can view the time off. Many folks incorrectly assume that the leave is some sort of a vacation for new parents, where they get to enjoy a little extra leisure time at the expense (sometime figuratively, and sometimes literally) of their co-workers. Now, Kylie Kelce is speaking out against those naysayers, and she has some really strong opinions on the matter. Related: Kylie Kelce Returns to Podcast 7 Weeks After Giving Birth When Kelce returned to her podcast after her nearly two month long maternity leave, she did so with a vengeance and a bone to pick with anyone who believes that the time a new parent spends recovering from child birth (or in some cases, bonding with a newly adopted baby) is a walk in the park. She sounded off about that mindset on the latest episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast. "Can I be honest about maternity leave? First of all, I just wanna get ahead of something. Maternity leave is not a break or a vacation," she told her listeners. "That is a crazy concept." "Do you think I was just kicking up my feet and lying in the sun out by the pool and chilling without a care in the world? Because you'd be wrong," she continued. "I birthed a child who prefers contact naps. That's right. I got another Wyatt sleeper." Apparently, Kelce has been attached at the hip to her daughter Finnley "Finn" since her birth, which is why she says she's spent the last seven weeks learning new skills. "Maternity leave for me is figuring out how to do things one-handed again. That is a skill that you have to master," Kelce Joked. "We have graduated to having her wrapped onto me for no exaggeration, probably anywhere from three to five hours of the day, collectively, which is interesting." Honestly, that's a very accurate take on maternity leave. For those who are fortunate to be in a position where it's offered, most of those early days are spent learning how to be a parent and how to live alongside the brand new human in your life. We're glad Kelce is setting the record straight, hopefully the people listen!
