Departing Bayern Munich forward Thomas Müller said farewell to the Bundesliga with a victory but gave no clues as to his next destination.
He started Saturday's 4-0 win at Hoffenheim in the final Bundesliga game of the campaign.

The 35-year-old recently wrapped up a record-extending 13th Bundesliga title but will not stay in the German top flight out of respect for his so far only club Bayern.
"People have been bidding me farewell for six weeks," he joked to Sky about the time since his exit announcement.
"It was a lot of fun. The time was crazy. The Bundesliga has always been my league, to play so many games is obviously nice.
"I wanted to score but only to win the game, not as a farewell goal. Football is about winning."
Müller made his Bundesliga debut for Bayern way back in 2008 and has made 503 league appearances. He might still turn out for Bayern at the Club World Cup from mid-June but is then widely expected to go to the MLS, also in the United States.

"I know what I'm doing tomorrow and the day after. Afterwards it is only in the stars. I will take my time. There is a bit of a pause before the next game in the middle of June," he said.
"I like it when people think out of the box and make me an offer. The whole package has to work out."
Harry Kane finished the season as Bundesliga top scorer for the second straight campaign with 26 goals. He said winning the title made the honour much sweeter.
"It is what I have been waiting for. It is a special feeling," he said after netting off the bench at Hoffenheim. "It was nice to finish with another goal."

Stuttgart take interest in Norwegian attacking midfield talent

Dennis Bayer and Sweden's Sportbladet report that Stuttgart are among the potential suitors for Norwegian attacking midfielder Tobias Fjeld Gulliksen. The Bundesliga outfit continues to prepare for the likely departure of Enzo Millot. Gulliksen has raised his profile at Swedish first division side Djurgårdens IF and could be available for around €5m. Bayer notes that there are other clubs interested in Gulliksen. Even if the transfer fee appears relatively modest, Stuttgart may wish to keep their outlays low after shelling out a record sum to acquire Stade Rennes fullback Lorenz Assignon. Advertisement It is also rumored that Stuttgart wish to fill their needs in the ten slot with Bayern Munich's Paul Wanner. The German-Austrian talent could be procured much cheaper via a loan fee in the six-figures'-range. There are also some whispers in the rumor mills that the Swabians explore the possibility of bringing former SC Freiburg academy man Noah Darvich back to Baden-Württemberg. The 18-year-old Freiburg-native moved to Barcelona in August 2023 and currently features for the Barça reserves. GGFN | Peter Weis

Bayern Munich acquire Tom Bischof in time for Club World Cup

Kicker reports that FC Bayern Munich have reached an agreement with Hoffenheim for the early procurement of midfielder Tom Bischof. The Bundesliga Champions thus secure Bischof's services in time for the coming Club World Cup. Hoffenheim shall receive a €300,000 base-transfer-fee as part of the del. Bonuses are also included. Bayern have already paid Bayer Leverkusen a special fee to acquire defender Jonathan Tah in time for the coming tournament. Bischof, like Tah, was picked up by Bayern on a free transfer. Both players were nevertheless not technically property of the German record champions until June 30th, 2025, when their contracts with their current Bundesliga clubs expired. Advertisement The deal that will send Bischof to the German giants early was first revealed by RTL commentator Lothar Matthäus during last night's Germany-France Nations League fixture. Bischof made his German national team debut as a substitute in last night's 0-2 loss in Stuttgart. Kicker later confirmed arrangement and the precise amount. GGFN | Peter Weis

Emilio Azcárraga aims cheeky dig at Chivas and Cruz Azul

América had a tough end to the season, as they added a defeat against Toluca in the Liga MX and against LAFC in a single match for the last ticket to the Club World Cup, followed by a thrashing from San Diego FC. After this series of unfortunate events, Emilio Azcárraga admitted the first half of the year for the Águilas as a "failure" and also took the opportunity to take a jab at Chivas. "América is here to win titles. Not winning is a failure. I prefer to be in the failure of not having won a four-peat than in what others do," he said to TUDN microphones. Advertisement "I have seen interesting memes, one for example says: 'I did see my team win a three-peat, my grandfather didn't have to tell me about it,' which I find very amusing and it's a great truth, because what was done was very impressive," he concluded. América was proclaimed as the first three-time champion in the history of short tournaments, joining the list of Chivas and Cruz Azul who achieved the three-peat between the late 1950s and 1974.
