Marvel Studios has delayed the release of the next two instalments in the Avengers franchise - Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
Avengers: Doomsday has been moved from May 1, 2026, to December 18, 2026.
Avengers: Secret Wars is now scheduled for December 17, 2027, instead of May 7, 2027.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 will take the original May 1, 2026 slot.
The delays follow rewrites and recasting for Doomsday after Jonathan Majors' assault conviction.

Teddi Mellencamp is getting candid about her dating life, amid her cancer battle and divorce from Edwin Arroyave. The 43-year-old former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star spoke openly about the new man in her life during the Tuesday's episode of her Two Ts In a Pod podcast, which she co-hosts cohosted with Tamra Judge. In the latest show, she confirmed her budding romance after DailyMail exclusively cozy photos of her and her beau. 'I'm dating somebody,' she shared with listeners. 'He's very kind to me, he's taking good care of me. He's nice, he's not married, he doesn't have any kids. But he's also a private person.' Wicked: For Good first trailer reveals new songs, a wedding, and the first glimpse of Dorothy as fans try to figure out who will play the iconic character
The first trailer for Wicked's hotly-anticipated sequel has sent fans into a frenzy. Wicked: For Good is set to hit cinemas on November 21, with a first look at the movie conclusion of the Broadway hit teasing the fate of the protagonists and a first look at new characters. The sequel sees the return of Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, and Ariana Grande as Glinda, the Good Witch of the North - with part two of the musical movie following their friendship after Elphaba was banished from Oz. Elphaba is living in exile, hidden within the Ozian forest while continuing her fight for the freedom of Oz's silenced Animals and desperately trying to expose the truth about The Wizard (Jeff Goldblum). Glinda, meanwhile, has become the symbol of Goodness for all of Oz, living at the palace in Emerald City and reveling in the perks of fame and popularity as she prepares to tie the knot with Prince Fiyero (Jonathan Bailey). The director later talked about the darker tone of the upcoming film, but shared that there will also be lighter elements. 'There is lots of lightness in the movie. There's a lot of fun parts. We've not forgotten about that, but there's a matureness and a nuance to it that we earn from the first movie. The second movie really gets to play with [that maturity].'
