As the premiere date nears, co-host Vanessa Lachey has spilt some big twists that are going to take place in season 9.
Love Is Blind returns for its ninth season on October 1, exclusively on Netflix. This popular reality series brings together a new group of singles in Denver, where they'll form deep connections, fall in love, and even get engaged, all without ever laying eyes on each other. With fresh faces and unexpected twists, the upcoming season promises another dramatic journey into love, sight unseen.
As the premiere date approaches, co-host Vanessa Lachey has revealed some major twists set to unfold in Season 9. In an interview with E! News, Lachey said, 'Something happens in Denver. That has never happened on any of the Love Is Blind."
Although she didn't disclose many details, Lachey emphasised that this season's cast has a unique character, influenced by Denver's culture.
'The beauty of Love Is Blind being in different cities is that you get the character of that season, that city," Lachey said. She noted that in some cities, people prioritise their careers, while in others, faith takes precedence, and in some, drinking holds more importance.
'It varies…so you can imagine what Denver's going to be," she added.
Although singles join the show in pursuit of love, not every couple makes it down the aisle. While there have been a few success stories, such as Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton from Season 1, or Daniel Hastings and Taylor Haag from Season 8, the series has also seen its fair share of heartbreaks. One of the most talked-about moments came in Season 6, when Chelsea Blackwell and Jimmy Presnell split shortly after filming wrapped, sparking widespread attention from fans.
However, it was not just their breakup that grabbed the attention. While being on the show, Chelsea claimed she resembled Megan Fox. Her comment was met with huge backlash on the internet, making her address the severe criticism.
During an interview with E! News, Chelsea mentioned, 'I think people went way too hard."
Her remarks came after Jimmy accused her of being dishonest about her looks and appearance on the show, although he later admitted to mishandling the situation and resolved the matter.
After the season came to an end and Chelsea parted ways with Jimmy, she looked back at the incident and said, 'Now, it's just going to be a joke, and I'll never live it down. It's just funny," as per E! News.
Putting behind all the past dramas, the show is gearing up to launch a new season with fresh faces on their way to find true love amid all uncertainties and unexpected twists.

That's precisely what happened when Mohit Suri 's elegant romantic drama Saiyaara and Anupam Kher 's touching drama Tanvi The Great opened in theaters on the same day. Tanvi The Great failed to achieve the same level of commercial success as the latter, which dominated the box office with over Rs 500 crore and captured the hearts of the public with its music and youthful star cast. However, it isn't keeping Anupam Kher up at night. He believes that movies are about feelings rather than profits. When asked if he believes the Saiyaara craze is to blame for his film's poor performance, the veteran actor responded, "I don't believe that's true," in an interview with News18.
