Golden State Warriors jersey history - No. 20 Dell Demps (1993)
Founded in 1946 during the Basketball Association of America (BAA — a precursor league of the NBA) era, the team has called home the cities of Philadelphia, San Francisco, Oakland, and even San Diego.
To commemorate the players who wore those numbers, Warriors Wire is covering the entire history of jersey numbers and the players who sported them since the founding of the team. For this article, we begin with the 14th of 29 players who wore the No. 20 jersey for the Warriors.
That player would be Golden State guard alum Dell Demps. After ending his college career at University of the Pacific, Demps would go unselected in the 1992 NBA Draft, instead playing abroad and in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA — that era's version of the G League) until he signed with Golden State Warriors in 1993.
His stay with the team would span just two games before he'd bead back overseas to play.
During his time suiting up for the Warriors, Demps wore only jersey No. 20 and put up 2.0 points and 1.0 steals per game.

Eagles Pro Bowl left guard Landon Dickerson could miss time with a meniscus injury
Eagles' Pro Bowl left guard Landon Dickerson underwent an MRI on Monday and sustained a meniscus injury, according to Adam Schefter. Eagles Pro-Bowl guard Landon Dickerson is thought to have suffered a meniscus injury to his right knee, per sources. Dickerson is getting additional options to determine the next course of action and how long he might be sidelined. The Eagles are days away from joint practices with the Browns, and they received some good news about Landon Dickerson. Philadelphia's star left guard exited the open stadium practice with a left knee injury that required a Monday MRI. Adam Schefter reports that Dickerson suffered a meniscus injury, and further testing will determine how much time he'll miss. Landon Dickerson suffered a lower leg injury and later carted off the field A meniscus tear can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months to heal, depending on the severity of the tear and the treatment approach. A minor tear, treated with rest and physical therapy, could heal in 4-8 weeks, costing Dickerson a few games and 3-6 months for complete recovery. A more severe tear for Dickerson could require surgery, and potentially up to 6-9 months for a full return to activities. Last season, Dickerson tied Brandon Brooks for the most Pro Bowl selections in team history by an offensive guard and was named to the Pro Bowl in three of his first four seasons. Dickerson is one of five guards who have made the Pro Bowl every year since 2022, along with the Browns' Joel Bitonio, the Falcons' Chris Lindstrom, the Colts' Quenton Nelson, and the Bears' Joe Thuney. Philadelphia has been playing Kenyon Green as the second team left guard in training camp, and could deploy Brett Toth, Matt Pryor, or Trevor Keegan in that spot.
