Kai Trump raises eyebrows with birthday video as she turns 18

Daily Mail12-05-2025
Kai Trump has raised some eyebrows after posting a video to TikTok celebrating her final night as a 17-year-old.
The president's granddaughter posted a clip of her and three of her friends posing to the song 'Promiscuous' by Nelly Furtado and Timbaland while they donned black dresses and high heels.
Kai, who turned 18 on Monday, lip-synced the cheeky lyrics to the 2006 hit with her friends as they posed in front of the camera.
The keen golfer, who is set to start at the University of Miami in the fall, uploaded the sweet clip with the caption: 'Last day being 17,' followed by a crying emoji.
Wearing an off-the-shoulder black dress with a white trim, black tights, and black heeled ankle boots, birthday girl Kai embellished the look with dainty hoop earrings, a watch, and a cross necklace.
The young ladies showed off their outfits, as the song played in the background: 'I'm all yours, what you waiting for? Promiscuous girl, you're teasing me. You know what I want, and I got what you need.'
Shortly after posting the video, Kai - the eldest child of Donald Trump Jr and Vanessa Haydon - received a wave of positive comments wishing her a happy birthday as others noted the flirty choice of song.
'She's such a sweet girl,' one wrote. Another said: 'Happy birthday eve. You are so beautiful. Could be a supermodel!! Future is bright. Wish you all the best.'

'Let the girl be a girl! She's killing it,' another said. 'Well I love the video,' someone else added.
Alongside the flood of happy birthday messages, other fans hinted that Kai may want to follow in her grandfather's footsteps - but she'll have a few more years to wait.
'So in 17 more years you can be president? I'm in!' the keen follower wrote.
Another added: 'Thanks for being a great role model for girls of the US and around the world.'
Just days ago, Kai Trump made headlines as she named who she believes are the three 'hottest' golfers in her latest vlog.
She listed Ludvig Aberg at the top, Viktor Hovland second, and rounded out her list with Australian Adam Scott.
Kai made her selections while attending the Formula One's Miami Grand Prix last weekend alongside best friend Emma Markin.
Markin also stated her top two, with Hovland and Trump ally Bryson DeChambeau as her top pair. She finished her list with Scott before looking up Aberg, as she was not familiar with the Swede.
After Kai pulled up a photo of Aberg on social media, Markin said, 'Estoy de acuerdo', which means, 'I agree' in English.
Markin makes frequent appearances on Kai Trump's social media and in vlogs, with the duo spending last weekend with VIP access in Miami.
Kai donned an all-white outfit as she toured the track and got near the garages, while also posing with an unidentified friend in two of the images.
The 47th President, however, was not at the Miami Grand Prix this year, instead spending the weekend in Washington DC.
Kai has had an active social media presence ever since her appearance at the Republican National Convention last year.
She lives in Florida as her grandfather is based in Mar-A-Lago when not in the White House.

Excited fan collapses and DIES during Colorado rock concert as devastated brother reveals his final moments

A fan collapsed and died at a King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard concert over the weekend. Mathew Gawiak, 36, complained of feeling dizzy before falling over while watching the Australian band at their Field of Vision Festival in Denver, Colorado, on Friday. Fans had to alert the band to the medical emergency happening within the crowd as they called out for medical responders one hour into their set. Guitarist Joey Walker announced to the crowd that help was on its way and asked those in attendance to part ways to allow for medical teams through. Gawiak had been with his brother Christopher who posted about his final moments to a fan page on Reddit. In it, he described his brother as a 'diehard gizzard fan, loving husband and best concert buddy'. Christopher explained how his brother had complained of feeling dizzy and that he had tried to escort him out when he collapsed. 'He dropped to the floor, and was unresponsive. Luckily, there were 2 trauma nurses in the crowd who responded quickly and started CPR while we fought off the overzealous and sent runners for paramedics to take him to the medical tent', he said. He added: 'They fought to stabilize him for almost two hours. They could only maintain any kind of pulse with massive doses of epinephrine. 'They had to call in an ambulance because they ran out. For all intents and purposes, I watched my brother die right in front of me and I was powerless to do anything about it.' He also said that while details on how his brother died were not yet known he had a 'very complicated' medical history, revealing he was a child cancer survivor. Christopher also shared a GoFundMe page to the page that he said was set up by his sister-in-law Allison to help with funeral costs. In it, she wrote: 'Matt was a loving and beloved husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was the love of my life and my best friend, he was the kindest most genuine person that I've ever met. 'His passions included playing guitar, camping, skiing, traveling, cooking, live music, and above all else, sharing those experiences with the people he loved. 'He got his masters and had a fulfilling career as a geospatial scientist. His goal in life was to make the people he loved happy. 'I find some peace knowing that he was surrounded by music and a community that was special to him and that he was truly happy in the moments before he tragically passed away.' So far the fundraiser, which can be found here, has already raised over $53,000 as of Wednesday afternoon. According to Gawiak's LinkedIn profile he worked for real estate investment trust Prologis as a Senior Geographic Information System Analyst A joint statement from the band and the venue said: 'Regarding the incident, we are deeply saddened to share that on Friday night, a guest passed away due to an unexpected medical event during the King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard concert at Meadow Creek despite the best efforts from emergency teams. 'We are sending our love and condolences to their family, friends, and the entire King Gizzard community.' The band had been livestreaming the concert on their YouTube page at the time, but the video has now been removed.

Creators on TikTok can make money through TikTok's creator fund if they have over 10,000 followers, and she had over 500k. TikTok bosses say: "The funds that each creator can earn are worked out by a combination of factors - including the number of views and the authenticity of those views, the level of engagement on the content, as well as making sure content is in line with our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. No two creators or videos are the same, and there is no limit to the different kinds of content we will support with the fund. UK Teen Mum Statistics Teen pregnancies in the UK have been decreasing considerably since 2007... The under-18 conception rate has decreased considerably since 2007, reports Nuffield Trust. Between 2007 and 2021, the under-18 conception rate in England and Wales decreased by 68%, from 42 per 1,000 women to 13 per 1,000 women. This resulted in 13,131 under-18 conceptions in England and Wales in 2021. "The Creator Fund total varies daily and is dependent on the amount of videos published by our community that day - so this will fluctuate based on the amount of content being published." The clip went viral on her TikTok account @padilla_twin.teenfamily with over 3 million views and while many judged the mum's teen pregnancy, others were quick to support her. "No, just no, absolutely not! 16? Hell nahh," penned one. Meanwhile another said: "Support teen mums, not teen pregnancy. She's doing well considering she had twins at 16." "I was a teen mum too. You are doing an amazing job. Your husband and babies are very blessed to have you,' claimed a third. Someone else added: "I'm so blessed that I still get the freedom to play Roblox and Fortnite at the big age of 18 instead."
