OK, now that I've had a good excuse to go through the Harrison Ford Getty archive, I must bring your attention to this clip from the 2023 Cannes Film Festival that is currently going viral.
For context, Harrison was at the festival in 2023 for the premiere of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, the latest installment in the beloved franchise in which, for over 40 years, he's played a hot, fedora-wearing archaeologist. I'm sure you're familiar.
In the newest movie, there is a scene in which Harrison takes off his shirt. And during the Cannes press conference in 2023, one rather outspoken reporter made a point of sharing how much she enjoyed it.
In the clip, which was recently reposted on X and has over 1.4 million views, the reporter can be heard telling Harrison: 'Look, I still think you're very hot,' prompting the actor to lean forward in intrigue. 'We were stunned to see you take your shirt off in the second scene, it's just— you've still got it,' she added. 'How do you keep fit?'
Now, if you know anything about Harrison Ford, you'll know that — despite having a great sense of humor — it's notoriously difficult to break his grumpy old man facade. But, as this clip shows, being described as 'very hot' at 80 years old certainly appeared to catch him off guard.
Fumbling his words as he played up to the jeering crowd, Harrison replied: 'Look, I've been blessed with this body. Thanks for noticing.'
Honestly, the comedic timing? Impeccable. The resurfacing of this clip has brought me so much joy, and it seems like I'm not the only one.

‘Pack a snack!' Jessica Williams gives advice to first-time Emmy nominee Harrison Ford, teases ‘Shrinking' Season 3 guest stars
Jessica Williams is an Emmy veteran, having attended the ceremony with The Daily Show and as a nominee for Shrinking. So, what advice would she give to her 83-year-old costar Harrison Ford, a first-time nominee this year? "Pack a snack!" Williams and Ford number among Shrinking's seven nominations, with the others being Best Comedy Series, Jason Segel in lead, Michael Urie in supporting, casting, and sound mixing. Williams plays Gaby Evans, a therapist working with Segel's Jimmy and Ford's Paul, in the Apple TV+ comedy series. "There's so much I like about playing her," the actress explains about her character. "She's very warm. She keeps me on my toes. ... The best thing about Gaby is her big heart." As for the cast as a whole, "We all genuinely love each other. A lot of the response that I get from the second season of Shrinking is that people wish they could hang out with the characters, and I think that just comes from how much we care about each other." Also in our interview, Williams teases upcoming guest stars for Season 3 like Candice Bergen, Jeff Daniels, and Michael J. Fox. "I stayed to watch him work and it was really incredible," she says about the latter. "I got chills watching [Fox and Ford] together, and he was really funny and sweet." Gold Derby: Jessica, you just received your second Emmy nomination for . You're a two-timer now! Jessica Williams: I am, I guess so. It's insane. You know, the first time I was nominated we went on strike that night, so it didn't feel like it was real. You also couldn't celebrate and stuff. So, this one feels really cool. I think it was more surreal the first time because of the strike. If the Emmy voters are voting on who is the funniest person in the category, you could easily win! No way. You're insane. I appreciate that you're just doing that because we're on a call right now. You're insane. Well, you have to admit you're a funny person. When did you first know that you were funny? I didn't know it was called being funny. I just knew that when I was a kid, I would say things faster than I could catch them. I didn't know that was being witty. So, I just remember that feeling. And then also, my parents are funny. I grew up in a really, really funny household and I didn't realize that until I got a lot older. They're very silly and very playful. So, it was a house where jokes were welcome, which I think really laid the foundation for just being silly. is nominated for Best Comedy Series this year. What does that mean to everyone? It's icing on the cake. We wrapped the third season of Shrinking the morning that our show was nominated. So, we got to spend time with the crew, and thank the crew, and congratulate the crew, and shoot with them. It's awesome. It means we all get to party together, too. The first season when we went to the Emmys, it was just me and Jason. And so this time, we all get to go, so we all get to goof around and love on each other and just be silly. I'm really excited. And Harrison got nominated, which is just amazing, for the first time in his career. So, I'm really looking forward to seeing him and hopefully Calista Flockhart. Since this is your second nomination, and Harrison's first, do you have any advice to the first-time nominee? Yeah, I do. I have some advice. He's going to have to pack a snack! I used to go for The Daily Show back when I was on it, and I'm always hungry. And when we went, I was still a bit peckish. What is your favorite part about playing Gaby on ? There's so much I like about playing her. She's very warm. She keeps me on my toes. For her personality, I have to stay really present. She has a really warm and interesting relationship with every character, and in order to do a service to that and stay spontaneous, I have to really be listening. She as a character demands me connecting with the actors every time I'm on set. And I'm really grateful to her for that. We're a really tight show. We all genuinely love each other. A lot of the response that I get from the second season of Shrinking is that people wish they could hang out with the characters, and I think that just comes from how much we care about each other. So, I guess in a cheesy way, the best thing about Gaby is her big heart. My favorite pairing on the show is Gaby and Liz [Christa Miller]. They need their own spin-off! Yeah, I know. We need to come up with a Giz-hive or Lazzy or something. We need a couple name. It's a really great relationship. I know it's one of [co-creator] Bill Lawrence's favorite relationships on the show. You don't actually see those two together often, which is surprising. I adore working with her. She makes me laugh all the time, and I cannot wait for you guys to see what Gaby and Liz are up to in Season 3. As an Emmy acting nominee, you have to submit one episode for the judges to watch and you chose the 10th episode of Season 2, "Changing Patterns." What was it about that episode that you thought was a great showcase for your work? There's a lot of growth for Gaby in that. There's a really fun scene, one of my favorite scenes in the season, of me and Harrison going toe-to-toe in his office. I love my look for the party. I love the scene where we're in the park negotiating with Lukita Maxwell's character, Alice, of what the party's going to be, and she's driving a hard bargain. And then there's a scene where Gaby has to tell her mom, "You can't live with me." One, it was a ton of fun to do. And two, I feel like it just shows Gaby's range in a really great way. Throughout the show we have met Gaby's mother and sister. Are there any other family members that you're excited to meet in the future? Yeah, tons. I'm really excited about Damon Wayans Jr. and there are more family members. This coming season, Candice Bergen plays Ted McGinley's mom, which is a thrill and a joy, and I got to do a scene with her. And Jeff Daniels plays Jimmy's dad. We're all family on this show. It's a show about found family. So, every wonderful guest star we get to have — even Lily Rabe — feels like we all get to enjoy them. I feel very lucky to be on this show for that reason. Another guest star coming up is Michael J. Fox. Did you get to have any scenes with him? I did. I got a little bit of time with him. He has a lot of scenes with Harrison. I stayed to watch him work and it was really incredible. I got chills watching them together, and he was really funny and sweet. He's a really funny guy, doing jokes all the time. I heard they were asking, "What does Michael J. Fox want on set?" And I think he just said, "Sweets." That was the directive, was sweets, which I thought was really cute. Who are you taking to the Emmys as your plus-one? Do you know yet? Oh my gosh, yeah. I'm taking my partner, Andrew. He went with me last time. I'm really excited and we're just going to laugh and laugh and laugh and be hungry. It's cool to be in a room with all of our favorite shows. We were obsessed the year we went because the cast of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia was there. That's an amazing show and it's been on forever, and so I was really thrilled about that. "I was under contract to Columbia Pictures at the time for $150 a week and all the respect that that implies. I was called into the office of the head of the new talent program, and he told me that I had no future in the business, which was OK," Ford told Variety. He explained that the head of talent at Columbia Pictures told him to change his look and his name. "And then he asked me to get my hair cut like Elvis Presley. That I didn't go along with."
