Olivia Culpo welcomes a baby girl

Perth Now14 hours ago
Olivia Culpo has given birth to a baby girl.
The 33-year-old star has taken to social media to announce that herself and husband Christian McCaffrey have welcomed their first child into the world.
Alongside a photo of her daughter's tiny hand, Olivia wrote on Instagram: "Colette Annalise McCaffrey [heart emoji] (sic)"
Christian, 29, has also shared the same post on his own social media account.
And Olivia has already hailed the sports star as the "best daddy in the world".
The brunette beauty wrote on the photo-sharing platform: "Colette is so lucky to have the best daddy in the world. A love like no other."
Olivia actually described childbirth as the "scariest and most rewarding of all experiences".
The model - who previously dated Nick Jonas - added: "As soon as [Christian] came into the room, I felt most at peace."
Olivia previously admitted that her pregnancy proved just how much she needs her own mother.
The model - who announced her pregnancy in March - explained that her mom has been hugely supportive of her over recent months.
Olivia - who won the Miss Universe beauty pageant back in 2012 - told People: "I feel like I have a lot of respect for my mom and one thing that I realised through this experience of becoming a mom is actually how much I've needed my mom, which I didn't anticipate.
"She's just been so helpful to me, especially in the beginning of my pregnancy. That was really tough. It's just kind of an interesting thing, and I'm just so grateful to her.
"It's just an ironic thought that you need your mom the most when you're about to become a mom. That's just genuinely how I felt."
The loved-up couple did "a lot of research" ahead of welcoming their baby.
Despite this, Christian acknowledged that "everybody's experience is different".
The San Francisco 49ers star shared: "A lot of research, a lot of questions to parents, but one thing I've realised is everybody's experience is different.
"I think it's one of those things that you just have to go through, do the best you can with the information that you have."

Mel B's wedding was 'traditional'

Mel B's wedding was a "traditional" affair. The Spice Girls star tied the knot with hairdresser Rory McPhee earlier this month and the ceremony at St Paul's Cathedral has been likened to a "royal wedding". A source told HELLO! magazine: "It was like a royal wedding as there were so many people waiting outside, and it was all very warm, very establishment, very traditional; there is an aspect of Melanie that is very traditional." Mel and Rory were both reduced to tears as they exchanged their vows at the ceremony that was attended by a mixture of family and friends. The source said: "Melanie was calm but also emotional all day. "She cried in the church when they were saying vows, as did Rory. The atmosphere was really lovely and warm, very happy. "There was a mix of family and friends from years gone by, people from charities she has worked with, members of her hair and make-up teams and some of the dancers from the recent Spice Girls tours." Mel, 50, was said to have been delighted with how the ceremony panned out. The insider explained: "It all went really smoothly. "Melanie was telling everyone how she was so happy and was just mingling and mixing with people, trying to say hello to everyone. It was just a really beautiful day." Emma Bunton was the only member of the Spice Girls to attend the wedding on July 5 but Melanie C took to social media to reveal that she was "beyond gutted" to have missed out. The 51-year-old singer wrote: "So so happy for you both and beyond gutted I couldn't be there. Excited to celebrate with you really soon! Yippee! (sic)" Victoria Beckham was also absent from the ceremony but took to social media in support of her bandmate – who will enjoy a second wedding with Rory in Morocco later this summer. She posted on Instagram: "Congratulations @officalmelb @rorymcphee on your special day! I couldn't be more excited for you both and wish you a lifetime of happiness! kisses xx (sic)" In a separate upload, the singer-turned-fashion designer described Rory as a "very lucky man". Victoria said: "Sending love to you @officialmelb! @rorymcphee is a very lucky man! xx (sic)"

'My head has been all over the place': Anne-Marie has suffered with postnatal depression

Anne-Marie has revealed that she battled postnatal depression. The 34-year-old singer welcomed her second child, a boy, with husband Slowthai in May and explained that her mental health was severely affected in a candid Instagram post. Anne-Marie - who also has daughter Seven, 17 months, with her rapper husband – wrote on the social media site: "This is the most 'me' I've felt in a long time. My head has been all over the place. I've been pregnant and breastfeeding for over 2 years. "My hormones are mental and I've only just started feeling okay. I've been through a lot. "My body has been through a lot. It's so hard but I guess cliche to say IT IS worth it. For someone who doesn't like routines I've had to become the person who lives in one. With naps and feeding and meal times. But I'm through it, still going through it but I feel I've come out of the hole. "I battled with postnatal depression and postnatal anxiety, and therapy (yet again) and the people around me pulled me through it. Now I'm back. I'm strong and I'm excited. My blond hair is back. "My body is kinda back. I just have to stop eating chocolate now and saying 'the baby wants it' hahahaha damn." The Ciao Adios singer concluded her post by suggesting that she could soon be making a return to performing. Anne-Marie penned: "Anyway, this caption is too long but just wanted to let you know. My mind is finally seeing clear again. Yay. I have 2 beautiful babies. Now it's time to tour again hahaha. Okay maybe not yet but soon." The Rockabye hitmaker was touring just two weeks before Seven was born last year and confessed that she "weed herself on stage" during her pregnancy. Anne-Marie said: "It was the most beautiful thing, but it was definitely hard. "I think I weed myself on stage a couple of times." Despite the difficulties, the singer was desperate to keep on performing until as close as possible to her daughter's birth. She said: "Yeah, I don't know how I did it. I weirdly had it in my head that I wanted to go against everything that everyone says about pregnant women. "Most people stay at home because their ankles and back hurt and I just went, 'F*** that - I am not doing that.' "I made it my mission to be able to do everything I normally do while pregnant and I managed to do that up until two weeks before when I was like, 'Get the f****** thing out of me.'"

'Untenable' for MasterChef host to stay on show: BBC

The BBC will no longer work with MasterChef host Gregg Wallace after a report found that dozens of misconduct allegations made against the hit cooking show presenter were upheld. The report, led by a law firm, said 45 out of the 83 allegations made against Wallace during his time on the show between 2005 and 2018 were substantiated. It said the majority of the claims related to "inappropriate sexual language and humour", with one incident including unwelcome physical contact. Wallace, 60, stepped away from hosting the hit BBC reality show, which is made by an independent production company, in 2024 while an investigation was launched into allegations made by multiple women that he made inappropriate sexual comments and behaved inappropriately over 17 years. The BBC has come under pressure over how it handles sexual misconduct allegations and how Wallace had continued to front some of its most popular shows for so long despite the complaints. The broadcaster issued a statement of apology, adding Wallace's "return to MasterChef is untenable". "The BBC has informed Mr Wallace we have no plans to work with him in future," it said. The broadcaster previously said that Wallace was warned by his employers after a complaint in 2018, and an internal investigation at the time found his behavior was "unacceptable and unprofessional". Wallace had claimed he had been cleared of the "most serious and sensational accusations" against him ahead of publication of the report into his alleged misconduct. In a statement posted on his Instagram account last week, he said: "I will not go quietly. I will not be cancelled for convenience. I was tried by media and hung out to dry well before the facts were established."
