INDIANA JONES' Whip Goes Up For Auction and Could Fetch $500,000, But it Belongs in a Museum — GeekTyrant
Cue the John Williams fanfare and put on your fedora, Indiana Jones' iconic bullwhip from Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade is hitting the auction block. And if you've got $500,000 just lying around, you might just be able to take it home. The whip is up for grabs through Propstore this September and it comes with the full rig, which includes holster, belt, and all. It was used by Harrison Ford in the 1989 Spielberg adventure film. The whip is an eight-foot beast crafted by David Morgan, 'the master whipmaker who supplied all the original whips for the classic Indiana Jones trilogy,' according to the auction house's press release. This particular set is the only known whip/holster/belt combo from the film in private hands, previously owned by an anonymous 'production source' who worked on The Last Crusade . It's never been up for sale before, and considering the provenance, it's unlikely to surface again anytime soon. The whip also carries some production tags linking it to the famous 'Rideaway Scene,' as well as a 'production-used call sheet' tied to the thrilling motorcycle chase filmed in Marin County, California. But that's not all—there's reason to believe it was used earlier in production during shoots in the UK and Spain as well. According to Propstore: 'The whip and holster remain secured by metal wire ties added by the props team to hold the set together. The whip also bears dark markings from previous bindings, consistent with how it was worn coiled on Indy's belt during filming.' Estimated to fetch between $250,000 and $500,000, this isn't exactly an impulse buy. But for the right collector, this is the kind of thing you don't stash on a shelf, you build an alter for it. Now, if you don't have that kind of money, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is swinging back onto the big screen for Father's Day weekend, courtesy of Fathom Events. Catch it June 14-15 and 18 in select theaters nationwide.

Jason Segel on Harrison Ford's Reaction to Nude Scene: ‘Great Dick'
How I Met Your Mother star Jason Segel recently shared an interesting story about his Shrinking co-star Harrison Ford, in which the veteran actor praised Segel after viewing his film Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Reacting to Segel's famous naked scene in the movie, Ford jokingly imparted a compliment to the comedian regarding his genitals, as revealed by Segel himself. Here's everything you need to know about the hilarious moment between the two Hollywood stars. During his recent discussion with Seth Rogen on Variety's latest iteration of its Actors on Actors segment, Jason Segel was questioned by his Knocked Up co-star about how he was able to recruit Harrison Ford in Apple TV+'s Shrinking series. He remarked, 'We got Harrison Ford because Harrison Ford is the kind of person you can make an offer to so that for three days you can say, 'We made an offer to Harrison Ford,' and then you'll pick the real guy.' Jason Segel then noted, 'He didn't know anything about me so he asked, 'Can I see some of his work?' and they sent him—Brett Goldstein went and met with him and they had a really nice meeting—and then they sent him End of the Tour and Forgetting Sarah Marshall.' After having witnessed Segel's acting chops in the two films, Ford reached out to Bill Lawrence, the showrunner for Shrinking, to convey his thoughts about Segel. 'And apparently, Bill Lawrence got a text that said, 'I'm in, and tell the kid, great dick,'' Jason Segel disclosed. Rogen had a hilarious reaction to his long-time friend's amusing anecdote about Ford, with The Studio co-creator noting, '[That's] all you need,' accompanied by his signature belly laugh. Featuring Jason Segel and Harrison Ford in the lead, Shrinking has spawned two seasons so far, with a confirmed third season yet to receive an official release date from Apple TV+. No Beach in Sight, but Jennifer Lawrence Is Dressing for Surfer Dude Summer
For Jennifer Lawrence, a novelty baseball cap and graphic tee makes a transeasonal, go-to fit. Now the temperatures are climbing up again, she's back to adding the classic jorts into her wardrobe rotation. Despite there being no beach in sight of the West Village, she channeled her inner surfer dude. Photographed yesterday in New York City, the No Hard Feelings actor headed out with her son, opting for a casual, laidback look. She wore a beige graphic MORRIS tee emblazoned with a cat's face, a navy baseball cap, light wash gabby denim jorts, and a pair of red and black thong style flip flops from The Row. Even with her most relaxed looks, Lawrence always makes sure to add an elevated, luxury basic or accessory. Think: a statement bag or archival purse du jour, set of Khaite sunglasses, or a simple shoe from her beloved, The Row. Less tie-dye tops and shell necklaces, more Issey Miyake and vintage Fendi. She's also got an arsenal of slogan tees, including her Loewe 'I Told Ya' tee. And the jorts feel like a pull from J-Law summers gone by. In the warmer months, you can catch her pairing tailored Bermuda shorts from The Row with light shirts and ballet flats, or wearing more chill boxer shorts, and linen shorty co-ord sets.
