So it is no surprise that restaurant owners were left gobsmacked when the star made an unexpected entrance into their eatery.
He looked completely different from his time working with Daniel Craig on the hit films - but can you work out who he is?
It is in fact, Mads Mikkelsen, who played the part of Le Chiffre in the hit movie.
The food outlet shared a snap of Mads posing alongside one of its owners.
They wrote alongside it: "A huge thank you to the brilliant Mads Mikkelsen for visiting Zaap Leeds this weekend!
"An incredible actor and an even kinder man, it was a pleasure to welcome you.
"From Fantastic Beasts to 007, and now to ZAAP Thai – a man of great taste! We're honoured you chose to dine with us. Hope to see you again soon, Mads!"
Other regular restaurant goers could also not believe their eyes that the Hollywood star had stepped foot inside the popular food haunt as they raced to the comments section to share their excitement.
One penned: "This is the best!!!"
As another added: "No way!!"

BBC axing 'masterpiece' sci fi film and fans have just days to watch

The sci-fi epic was released in 2017 and is a direct sequel to the 1982 movie Blade Runner Science fiction enthusiasts have only a handful of days remaining to dive into one of the most beloved contemporary sci-fi movies, which critics have hailed as a "masterpiece in every sense of the world". ‌ Acclaimed director Denis Villeneuve, who's set to helm the next James Bond film, stunned audiences in 2017 with his eagerly awaited follow-up to Ridley Scott's legendary Blade Runner. ‌ This sequel, which many devotees actually favour over the original, has been streaming without charge on BBC iPlayer, though this opportunity is about to expire as the broadcaster will relinquish the rights within days. ‌ The 2017 revival unfolds 30 years following the first instalment, transporting viewers once again into a bleak, precipitation-drenched Los Angeles teeming with synthetic beings and existential questions about what constitutes genuine existence. Ryan Gosling delivers an exceptional portrayal as K, and despite the movie avoiding heavy exposition and lengthy conversations, he succeeds in prompting audiences to contemplate the true essence of humanity, reports the Express. Throughout his odyssey, he's accompanied by an outstanding ensemble cast including Harrison Ford, who returns to his iconic character, plus compelling turns from Ana de Armas, Dave Bautista and Jared Leto. Critics embraced the picture enthusiastically, with renowned cinematographer Roger Deakins claiming an Academy Award for his contribution, whilst the production also secured the trophy for outstanding visual effects plus recognition for its audio and set design. The soundtrack for this film warrants special mention, with Hans Zimmer and Benjamin Wallfisch's synth-heavy score evoking sci-fi nostalgia whilst honouring the genre's greatest works. ‌ Boasting an impressive "Certified Fresh" rating of 88% from both critics and viewers on Rotten Tomatoes, audiences are urging others to give it a watch. One viewer said: "A masterpiece in every sense of the word. The acting, the visuals, the story. It's damn near perfect. I like the original Blade Runner, but this is so, so much better in every way... The peak of modern cinema." However, don't worry if you missed the 1980s original, as one critic noted: "2049 is able to exist both as a masterful sequel and/or stand-alone film in the universe, which showcases Villeneuve's massive skill as a storyteller and further validates him as one of the best visionaries of our generation." Critic Josh Wilding echoed this sentiment, declaring: "A masterpiece pure and simple, Blade Runner 2049 does not disappoint and will keep hardcore fans and newcomers alike equally happy with what they're seeing." The film remains available to stream free on BBC iPlayer, though with its departure scheduled for August 25, you've got just days left before you'll need to pay for rental or splash out on a pricey streaming subscription.

Festival expert shares six things ahead of Creamfields and one mistake to avoid

Creamfields is one of the several music festivals that takes place annually in the UK and an expert shared six things which can be helpful to know for ticket holders who aren't very familiar with the event Music fans regularly unite during summer for festivals that take place across the UK. Some of the most popular include Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds and Creamfields, taking place on Thursday (August 21) to Sunday (August 24) in the village of Daresbury in Cheshire. ‌ Creamfields is an electronic dance music festival presented by Rockstar Energy Drink. The event has been running since 1998 and was founded by the British club promoter Cream. According to Festaff, the festival attracts a crowd of around 70,000 people every year. Some of the main artists featuring in the 2025 line up include Swedish House Mafia, ANYMA and David Guetta. ‌ Two Step is a TikTok page run by Dex and Liv who share information about festivals and events to their 15,000 followers. ‌ They posted a clip on the platform focusing on Creamfields and Dex said: 'Here's a few things about Creamfields you might wanna know if you're thinking about getting a ticket or if you've got one and it's your first time.' 1. People like to arrive early Dex firstly shared that people attending the music festival like to arrive early and he included a clip of the queue at 6.45am on Thursday during one of the previous events. The Creamfields official website states the opening time for campsites is 12pm on August 21 and 22 and 10am on August 23. There are various start and finish times for the music on the four different dates. 2. Random ID checks Dex added: 'I get loads of DMs about ID. They do random ID checks like this. Also, just so you know in the queue when you're waiting to come in there are portaloos so even if you're there early and it's ages until the gate opens you have got the opportunity just to go to the toilet as much as you need to." Creamfields has put together a pre-arrival checklist in which it recommends bringing a valid ID, noting this festival is only for those who are at least 18. ‌ 3. Entering the festival The TikTok festival expert continued: 'Once the gate's open they let you in in waves. You'll be given a pat down on a search. 'All your belongings will get looked through. Sometimes this is really thorough, sometimes it's not. It just depends [on] who you get searching you.' Dex shared once you've got through the search you will then have to walk past some dogs and after this you will be asked for your ticket and give your wristband. At this point he said you will be able to find your campsite. ‌ The music-lover mentioned that Creamfields will often release its map or updated map around a week before the festival starts. 4. Silent disco on Thursday Dex continued: 'The first night of Creamfields, the Thursday, is always just a silent disco. I recommend you pace yourself.' ‌ He advised not ruining your weekend by 'getting trollied at the silent disco on the first night.' 5. Pack for all weather conditions and and 'best' camping spots The seasoned festival-goer's next piece of advice is to pack for all weather conditions, noting there will be 'really boggy areas' in the camp sites. Dex claimed the best camping spots are 'normally the ones that are furthest away from the car parks and entrances'. ‌ He suggested having a look around instead of settling for the first spot you see. 6. Don't worry about bringing everything you need The music fan concluded: 'Don't stress about bringing absolutely every single thing you need because [in the] worst case scenario you could show up to this festival with nothing and buy everything you need there.' Campers short on camping gear can head to the Creamfield Camp Shop and pick up everything from an airbed to wellies to a spare tent peg, as per the website. There will also be the onsite Co-op store selling toiletries and food and drink.

Pigeon Detectives halt Belladrum gig after singer falls from stage during energetic performance

Pigeon Detectives made a triumphant return to Belladrum 18 years after their first performance at the Tartan Heart Festival. The Leeds-born band put an unforgettable performance, with lead singer Matt Bowman dramatically falling from stage at one point – before heroically getting back up to keep the show going. After performing only a few songs, Bowman was on the floor for two minutes after slipping from stage. The singer had spat water onto the floor of the stage just moments before the fall. The incident left hundreds of people in the audience speechless as they wondered whether the show would continue. However, he came up and continued to put on a show full of energy that kept Belladrum going wild for over another hour. Hours before the concert, the Press and Journal spoke with four Pigeon Detective members about what makes Belladrum special. Matt Bowman, guitarists Oliver Main and Ryan Wilson and drummer Jimmy Naylor also spoke about the 'amazing and lively' Highland crowd. When asked what makes the Tartan Heart Festival unique, Matt said that he feels Belladrum is still 'about the music'. He said: 'I've just walked around the festival and from what I can tell it's not overly commercialised, it's quite vibey. 'It's still got that kind of… it feels like it may actually be about the music. 'And you go to a lot of festivals these days and while it is lovely it feels a bit sanitised, it feels a bit corporate.' The band also praised the Highland audience ahead of the gig. When asked to describe the people in Inverness and the Highlands, Jimmy said: 'Drunk or not drunk, the crowd are always up for it up here.' He continued: 'We've done everything from a small pub in Inverness where literally there was no stage and people were loving it then. 'Crowd is always amazing and lively and up for a good time.'
