The Rochester Red Wings are home this weekend and will be facing the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp! Saturday's game starts at 6:45 p.m. and Sunday's game is at 1:05 p.m.

The 'real clay extravaganza' returns to Studio Sales Pottery in East Avon each day this weekend from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Ever want to watch a movie outdoors? Downtown Definitely is screening movies at Parcel 5 this summer, with the first screening starting at 7 p.m. and ending at 10 p.m.
Friday's movie is the Whoopi Goldberg musical comedy 'Sister Act.' Before the movie begins, there will be activities like a photo booth and face paint. Food and drinks will be served, and guests are asked to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
ASL interpreters will be on-site, and there will be closed captioning. 'Wicked' will be screened on July 18, and 'The Greatest Showman' will screen on August 29.
The Verona Street Animal Society is holding its 19th Fast & The Furriest pet festival at Brown Square Park starting at 8 a.m.

Team Ali Gaiters will be hosting its 19th annual Clambake event from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Honeoye Falls Fireman's Training Grounds.
The family-friendly event features live music, all-you-can-eat food, activities, raffles, and more. The event is to raise funds for Golisano Children's Hospital.
AKOMA, Rochester's African American Women's Gospel Choir, is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a scholarship concert at 6 p.m.

Deep 20 is teaming up with Pat's Pigs to serve BBQ for Father's Day from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The International Plaza will be hosting a Latin American and Caribbean-themed Father's Day celebration from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.!

Michelle Yeoh has promised fans new musical treats are on the way in Wicked: For Good. The 63-year-old actress plays Madame Morrible in the sequel to the hit witch movie, and has now hinted it will feature new songs. She told People ahead of the arrival of the highly anticipated second installment of the Wicked film series: 'I think you're getting some new songs.' Michelle quickly added with a laugh: 'I didn't say that.' The Oscar-winning star, known for her work in both Hollywood and Chinese cinema, spoke while promoting two projects. Alongside Wicked: For Good, she is also lending her voice to the English-language version of the Chinese blockbuster Ne Zha II, in which she plays Lady Yin, the mother of the rebellious young demigod Ne Zha. The films' dual releases have kept the actress busy throughout 2025, with Wicked: For Good set to premiere on 21 November and Ne Zha II hitting theaters on 22 August. The new songs in Wicked: For Good were composed by Stephen Schwartz, who created the music and lyrics for the original Broadway show. He confirmed the additions to People at the 2025 Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony, saying: 'I have permission to say there are two new songs in the movie because the storytelling demanded it. 'One of them happens to be for the character of Elphaba. The other one happens to be for the character of Glinda.' Michelle also reflected on her ongoing connection with the Wicked cast. She said: 'I was just at Hollywood Bowl (for) Cynthia,' she said, referring to Cynthia Erivo's performance as Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar. Michelle added: 'I love her. She was so amazing.' Discussing Ne Zha II, Michelle said about her enthusiasm for the project: 'I had seen Ne Zha II in Chinese, and even at that time I thought, 'I hope they do an English version, because you want little kids to be able to see it and understand'. 'So when they did come to me and said, 'Would this interest you?' I jumped right in.' She also praised the film's faithful adaptation of Chinese mythology, noting the balance between traditional storytelling and contemporary accessibility. Michelle Yeoh teases new songs coming in 'Wicked: For Good'
Michelle Yeoh is giving "Wicked" fans a sneak peek at the highly anticipated sequel. In a recent interview with People, the Oscar-winning actress, who plays Madame Morrible, hinted at what audiences can expect in "Wicked: For Good," which will arrive on Nov. 21. "I think you're getting some new songs," Yeoh teased, before joking, "I didn't say that." Fans of the Broadway show's beloved soundtrack won't be disappointed as Stephen Schwartz, who wrote the music and lyrics for the stage production, has previously confirmed he composed two new songs specifically for the film. "I have permission to say there are two new songs in the movie because the storytelling demanded it. One of them happens to be for the character of Elphaba. The other one happens to be for the character of Glinda," Schwartz told the outlet in June. Yeoh also shared that she and her castmates have remained close long after filming wrapped. "I was just at Hollywood Bowl [for] Cynthia," she said, referencing Cynthia Erivo's performance in "Jesus Christ Superstar." "I love her. She was so amazing."
