Troopers searching for Dodge Ram suspected in Butler County hit-and-run
Troopers are trying to locate a dark colored Dodge Ram they say was involved in a hit-and-run crash around 6 a.m. on State Route 356 and Fisher Road around 6 a.m.
The truck will have heavy front-end damage.
Anyone with information about the crash or the truck should call the Butler barracks at 724-284-8100 and ask to speak with Trooper Mihelic.

Pennsylvania State Police investigating deadly shooting in Ellsworth Borough
Pennsylvania State Police troopers are investigating a late-night deadly shooting in Washington County. Washington County dispatchers confirmed to KDKA-TV that first responders were called to a home along Walnut Street in Ellsworth Borough around 11:15 p.m. on Sunday night. Dispatchers said that the coroner had been notified of the shooting. As of around midnight, no other people were transported from the scene. Six people injured after car drifts into crowd at festival in East Liberty
Six people were injured after a car drifted into a crowd at a festival in East Liberty. Pittsburgh public safety officials say emergency crews were called to Broad Street and Center Avenue just before 6:30 p.m. There, witnesses told them a slow-moving vehicle with no driver had drifted into a crowd that was gathered for a neighborhood/community festival. The vehicle's owner stayed on scene and was highly cooperative with police, officials say. He told police he thought he had placed his vehicle in park before getting out. Six people were injured, including five women and one man. Five were taken to area hospitals, three in serious but stable condition and two in stable condition. The sixth victim was evaluated and did not want to be transported. Officials say the incident is believed to be purely accidental at this time. Channel 11 crews on scene saw first responders at the East Liberty Black Arts Soul Steppin' Boots on the Ground Wellness Festival Harambee Style and Parade. Two dead, five injured after fiery three-way collision in Ohio
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A head-on, fiery collision injured several motorists and caused multiple deaths in Ohio's Delaware County Wednesday night. According to the Delaware Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a three-vehicle crash resulted in two deaths and five injuries, which occurred just after 8:30 p.m. north of the intersection of U.S. Route 23 and State Route 750 in Delaware County's Orange Township. The fatal crash happened just north of SR-750, on US-23, when a Columbus woman driving a 2018 Dodge Ram pickup truck, heading south, veered left of center and struck a motorist from Mount Cory, Ohio, driving a 2021 Toyota Venza. The collision caused the Dodge Ram to ricochet head-on into a 2025 Honda Accord, which was also heading northbound, and both vehicles caught fire after impact. 78-year-old cancer patient's dog fatally shot in front of her Three passengers were in the Toyota Venza, including 64-year-old Carol Waldman and 54-year-old Amanda Reidling, who were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and the third passenger sustained serious injuries and were taken to a Columbus hospital. The driver of the Dodge Ram was also seriously injured and taken to a hospital, while the driver of the Honda, plus one juvenile passenger, suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene. The OSHP said seatbelt usage for the Honda occupants was confirmed but could not confirm whether any other parties involved were wearing their restraints. The investigation of the crash, which was assisted by the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, the Ohio Department of Transportation, Delaware County EMS, and Orange Township Fire and EMS, remains under investigation.
