Police identified the accused as Rupa Kumari Singh. Officials said she was found carrying three forged identity cards to conceal her real identity.
"During interrogation, it emerged that the accused had three fake IDs, each with different names, fathers' names and addresses, but all carrying her photograph. Posing as a maid, she intended to steal and escape, using the forged cards to mislead homeowners and police," said ASI Sandeep, Gurgaon police spokesperson.
She was booked at the Civil Lines police station. Later in the day, she was produced in a local court and sent to judicial custody.

E-rickshaw driver held for road stunts to gain social media followers
1 2 Jaipur: City police Wednesday arrested a 22-year-old e-rickshaw driver who turned the city's streets into his stage for dangerous stunts to increase followers on social media. The accused, identified as Fardeen Qureshi, was reportedly taunting the police on social media. The accused was caught in Vidhyadhar Nagar after the city's Crime Branch launched a coordinated operation with local police. A resident of Bhatta Basti, the accused built a following online by posting videos of himself performing reckless manoeuvres with his e-rickshaw. He openly dared the police to act against him, prompting the city to step in after videos began to go viral on social media. His vehicle, bearing a number, was seized during the arrest. The case, registered under sections of BNS along with sections of Motor Vehicles Act, highlights the growing trend of social media notoriety at the cost of public safety. Officers said the stunts not only endangered commuters but also encouraged impressionable youths to imitate such behaviour. Unwilling to marry man of family's choice, woman lawyer planned mysterious disappearance from train
BHOPAL: Unwilling to buckle under family pressure to marry the man of their choice, a Madhya Pradesh-based young advocate, Archana Tiwari, who aspired to become a civil judge, masterminded her own disappearance from on board a train on August 7. 12 days after she disappeared and went underground in the Nepalese capital Kathmandu with the help of a close friend, Saransh Jokchand, who wanted to make a big in drone business, and Saransh's alleged fraudster friend Tejindar Singh, the 29-year-old advocate has been found near the Indo-Nepal border in UP's Lakhimpur district and brought to Bhopal on Wednesday. On August 7, the young advocate, who was travelling from her workplace in Indore to home city Katni for Raksha Bandhan in the B3 coach of the 18233 Indore-Bilaspur Narmada Express train didn't reach home on August 8, after which a missing persons complaint was filed by her family at the government railway police (GRP-Katni). The investigation was transferred the next day to the GRP-Rani Kamlapati station of Bhopal. With Archana's bag and some other things being found on her train's seat, the GRP police first started working on the theory of the woman having fallen from the train, despite its chances being low in the crowded AC-3 compartment.

Drug trafficking accused's aide arrested with pistol, cartridges
Bhopal: The Crime Branch on Tuesday claimed to have arrested one more accused allegedly associated with MD drugs trafficking accused Yasin Ahmed, with a country-made pistol and a live cartridge. With this, the Crime Branch have recovered five pistols and five live cartridges in the past month. Additional DCP (Crime Branch) Shailendra Singh Chouhan said that the accused was identified as Larib Khan, 25, a resident of Jehangirabad. Acting on a tip-off from an informant that a man carrying a firearm was standing behind the old jail road in Jehangirabad intending to commit a crime, a Crime Branch team reached the spot and nabbed Larib. A search led to the recovery of a country-made pistol from his trouser pocket along with one live cartridge. Additional DCP Chouhan said that during questioning, Larib admitted to purchasing the firearm from Yasin Ahmed around 4–5 months ago for Rs24,000. He also disclosed that Yasin supplied illegal arms to many people across the city. He said Larib had past connections with Yasin Ahmed and Anshul alias Bhuri in drug-related transactions and also used to buy MD drugs from Yasin. Police believe further interrogation of Yasin Ahmed could lead to major revelations. Yasin Ahmed already has over a dozen criminal cases registered against him at various police stations in the city, including those related to drugs, arms, crimes against women, and other offences.
