On Her Viral ‘Baby Momma' Video, This Is What Meghan Markle Has To Say
Last Updated:
She joked about the video while discussing the importance of authenticity on social media.
Meghan Markle's throwback reel of her and Prince Harry dancing just before giving birth to their daughter, Lilibet, sparked outrage and received massive criticism on social media. In her latest appearance on a podcast, she joked about the video while discussing the importance of authenticity.
On the Aspire With Emma Grede podcast, she asked: 'Did you see my 'Baby Momma' dance?"
'That wasn't yesterday. That was four years ago. So it's also a really great reminder that, with all the noise or whatever people do, there's still a whole life. A real, authentic, fun life that's happening behind the scenes," Meghan added.
Despite the criticism, Meghan shared that she was glad to be back on social media so she could share things as she wished to. She said, 'I'm just grateful that now, being back on social as well, I have a place where I can share it on my own terms."
The video was posted by Meghan to mark the fourth birthday of her daughter Lilibet.
On the same podcast, when asked about her public image, she said that she only wanted to change one thing. If she could rewrite her public narrative from the start, she would 'ask people to tell the truth."
Earlier, Meghan Markle shared two unseen photos of her daughter, Lilibet, on her fourth birthday. Meghan was seen embracing Lilibet while she sat in her lap and they spent time together on what appeared to be a boat. In the second image, Meghan is seen carrying the newborn child Lilibet's face was completely obscured in both photographs.
Meanwhile, Meghan Markle was last seen in the Netflix series With Love, Meghan in March this year.
