BUFFALO – Jaxson Dart dropped his first NFL touchdown pass right into the bucket.
The Giants' rookie first-round pick, making his preseason debut Saturday, put perfect leading touch on a 29-yard strike down the left sideline to Lil'Jordan Humphrey, who fought through tight one-on-one coverage for the score against the Bills.
Perhaps the most impressive part of the touchdown, however, was that Dart hung in there to deliver the throw even as T.J. Sanders bared down with an up-the-middle pressure and drilled him just after he let the ball.
Dart popped to his feet and excitedly slapped his offensive linemen to let the celebration begin.
The touchdown capped a seven-play 80-yard drive in the second quarter that saw Dart complete three of his four passes, including catch-and-runs by Dante Miller (18 yards) and Montrell Washington (28 yards).

Both Miller and Washington are threats to steal 53-man roster spots.
Dart also ran twice — once by design and once when he held the ball too long, pump-faked and pulled it down for a one-yard scramble.
It was Dart's second series, after the Giants gained one first down and punted in his first taste of action against the Bills' starting defense.
Dart, who came in ahead of Jameis Winston off the bench to replace starter Russell Wilson, found a rhythm against Buffalo's backups.

WNBA Star Kelsey Plum Blasted For 'Classless' Play During Loss

WNBA Star Kelsey Plum Blasted For 'Classless' Play During Loss originally appeared on The Spun. Kelsey Plum, a popular WNBA star, is being ripped on social media for her "classless" move during a game. The Los Angeles Sparks took on the Golden State Valkyries on Saturday evening. The Sparks fell to the Valkyries, 72-59, on Saturday night. It was a rough showing for Plum and her teammates. Plum, who starred collegiately at Washington, had an especially rough game. She had just 4 points on 1 of 9 shooting while recording three personal fouls. But one move in particular is standing out on social media. Late in the fourth quarter, Plum appeared to intentionally trip an opponent, while proceeding to flop at halfcourt. It was a rough showing. WNBA fans are ripping her. "Stuff like this is why it's hard for me to defend Kelsey Plum sometimes. She has these random moments where you're just like—what was she thinking? She was playing terribly, and honestly, it felt like she was trying to get herself ejected," one fan wrote. "That move would get you ejected (red card) from a soccer game where you're supposed to use your feet," one fan wrote. "These big players got away with so much when the cameras weren't around and now they can't get away with it. Imagine how bad it was before the eyes were on them," another fan added. "She is just a brute that can't control her emotions and gets aggressive when she is getting beat," one fan added. "What was the call? If she wasn't ejected for that, the league should review it and upgrade to flagrant 2. When the refs 'miss' a F2 during the game and its later upgraded, the player should miss the next game. The league will either tolerate this garbage or it won't," one fan added. Should Plum face discipline from the WNBA for her tripping move?
