Hong Kong care home resident arrested on suspicion of murder after man dies
A dispute broke out between two male residents, both in their fifties, at Ming Sum Home for the SEN in Wong Uk Tsuen, Yuen Long, and the confrontation turned physical at about 5.40pm on Monday.
One of the men was believed to have hit and kicked the other, a police source said.
The injured resident was rushed to Pok Oi Hospital in Yuen Long but was certified dead at 6.35pm.
After a preliminary investigation, police arrested the suspect on suspicion of murder.
The Yuen Long district crime squad is handling the case.

Australian killer dies without revealing location of UK backpacker Peter Falconio's body
The killer of British backpacker Peter Falconio did not reveal where the remains of his victim were before his death, according to police in Australia. Bradley John Murdoch was convicted in 2005 of murdering Falconio and assaulting his girlfriend Joanne Lees at gunpoint on a remote stretch of road near Barrow Creek in Australia 's Northern Territory on July 14, 2001. Falconio and Lees, both from Yorkshire, were travelling across the country in a camper van when they were ambushed by Murdoch on the Stuart Highway, an isolated road that runs through the centre of Australia. Murdoch was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment without parole for at least 28 years. Murdoch, 67, was diagnosed with terminal throat cancer in 2019 and was moved to palliative care from Alice Springs Correctional Centre last month, according to local media reports. The Northern Territory Department of Corrections confirmed that Murdoch died in hospital in Alice Springs.

Hong Kong police arrest man on suspicion of pushing boy, 9, into sea
A 23-year-old Hongkonger has been arrested for allegedly pushing a nine-year-old boy into the sea while the child was fishing with his mother in Hung Hom. Police said the man, surnamed Wong, was apprehended in Kowloon City at 5.22pm on Tuesday, three days after the incident, on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. They added that the arrest was made after police reviewed CCTV footage. Officers searching his flat also found the clothes he allegedly wore while committing the offence. 'When police arrived at the scene, the boy had a lot of scratches on his body. He was conscious and was discharged from hospital after treatment,' a police spokesman said on Wednesday. The suspect is currently being held in custody for further investigation. The manhunt started after the boy was pushed into the sea while he was fishing on a staircase along King Wan Street near Hoi Sham Park at around 5.40pm on Saturday.
