It was recently revealed by Director
Gil Junger
, who directed the original film as well, that a new project is underway. The sequel film titled '
10 Things I Hate About Dating
' is under works and will soon begin production, as per People. Not only that, but the new project will mark the beginning of a trilogy, ensuring that fans will have more than enough content to watch.
During his interview, the director who is working alongside Naya Elle James to write the final script of the film shared that '10 Things I Hate About Dating is definitively in the works as a feature film. We're developing it right now." While the project has not yet been officially finalised, the creators are optimistic and have also revealed that the storyline will be based off of Molière's 1666 play, 'The Misanthrope'.
